Imagine going four days without a single meal, the gnawing hunger twisting your stomach until even the thought of food is agony. You watch your family’s faces grow gaunt and pale, and your heart breaks knowing that something as simple as flour for bread is beyond reach. Your home is gone, your business reduced to rubble, and now even the smallest comfort—a piece of bread—has become an almost unattainable dream.

This is Aboud Al-Qudra’s reality. A Palestinian living in Gaza, Aboud once owned a business, a home, and a life that felt secure despite the tensions surrounding him. But over a year of relentless war has taken so much from him. His business is gone, his home reduced to ruins, and his family separated—some taken by the violence that has consumed Gaza.

Now, Aboud and his surviving family members live in a cramped tent, exposed to both the scorching summer sun and the bitter cold of winter. Food is scarce, clean drinking water even scarcer, and the chronic illnesses affecting some of his family members have been made worse by the lack of medicine.

Just this morning, Aboud sent us an urgent message:

Imagine Going Four Days Without A Single Meal, The Gnawing Hunger Twisting Your Stomach Until Even The

"Can you help us today with $50 to buy flour to make bread? I swear we haven't had bread in four days. Please, don't ignore me. We need support, we need hope, we need life. We have only our prayers, but we need you for our survival."

Every dollar is a chance for Aboud’s family to eat, to drink clean water, to hold on for one more day. The goal of this GoFundMe is to help them survive the daily nightmare of life in Gaza—to provide food, medicine, and, if possible, a way out of this endless suffering.

Story by @rumiandroses

On the night of March 17-18, 2025, as airstrikes rained down across Gaza, the Al-Quzzaz family’s tent was destroyed. Miraculously, Hossam, his wife Hanan, and their four children (Bashar, 9; Hani, 8; Diana, 4; and Habiba, 6 months) all survived unharmed, but many in their displacement camp did not—many men, women and children, innocent lives who had already endured so much, were lost to the violence.

Amid the chaos, the Al-Qazzaz family has clung to their faith and done their best to keep their spirits high. They've sought safety where they can, staying with relatives and mentally preparing themselves for the days ahead as war returns to Gaza. Every day is filled with fear and uncertainty—Just last week, Hanan, went to a local hospital, only for the hospital to be bombed just hours after she left it.

In the aftermath of the airstrikes, Hossam and our founder, Bethany-Grace, discussed sending some of the funds raised so far from the Chuffed campaign she is sponsoring for the Al-Quzzaz family, so that the family could rebuild their shelter. On March 28, we were able to send Hossam $788 (€697.48 after conversion) raised by the Chuffed campaign—enough to start constructing a sturdier, more protective shelter for the family. While this might seem like a significant sum, the blockade of goods into Gaza has caused prices for basic items like food, medicine, and building materials to skyrocket.

Today, because of your kindness, compassion, and generosity, Hossam was able to purchase sturdy building materials and has begun to rebuild the family's tent.

The Night The Ceasefire Collapsed, Hossam’s Family Lost Everything Again.
The Night The Ceasefire Collapsed, Hossam’s Family Lost Everything Again.

Images: Hossam is beginning to reconstruct the family's tent.

As a direct result of your help, the Al-Quzzaz family will have shelter again. They will be protected from the elements and shielded as much as possible from the dangers that surround them every second of every day.

But the Al-Quzzaz family's journey is far from over. We are still raising funds to help Hossam’s family escape to safety and rebuild their lives.

If you can, please donate. If you cannot, please share—amplifying this family's story plays an important role in helping the family find people who can financially assist.

Your generosity has already helped this family take their first steps toward recovery. Let’s help them move forward.

🌿 Help Me Achieve My Dream of Becoming a Licensed Physical Therapist!

My name is Yara, a physical therapy graduate from Gaza. Despite all the hardships, I completed my university education, but instead of celebrating my success, I now face an even tougher reality. We lost our home in the war, and my three sisters—who are also university graduates—and I are struggling to rebuild our future from nothing.

We are a family of nine, and my father is unemployed due to the difficult situation. My brother is preparing for his Tawjihi exams in the middle of war, and my youngest brother, Ahmad, often asks us for simple things, but most of the time, we can't afford them.

To practice my profession and help those in need, I must pay licensing fees. But with everything we’re going through, affording these fees is nearly impossible.

Every donation, no matter how small, brings me closer to achieving my dream, supporting my family, and making a difference in my community.

Would you be willing to sacrifice the cost of a cup of coffee for a family in Gaza who desperately needs your help?

milkywaylane - Soapiez

@wadee-onaba

Story by @fabricated-pessimist

With only £163 raised so far, donations to this campaign have been incredibly slow, with new donations coming in every few days or even weeks.

Mohammed Anaba desperately evacuated with his family to the UNRWA camps the moment their home got targeted by occupation forces. As a result of the ongoing conflict in Gaza, Mohammed and his family have gotten deathly sensitive to the phosphorus and smoke that are inflicted on them during attacks. Like most others living in Gaza, Mohammed cannot access proper treatment for this.

With the resurgence of violence following the collapse of the ceasefire, Mohammed and his family are once again being exposed to dangerous chemicals that could end their lives life at any moment.

Mohammed is humbly asking for those who are willing to help afford basic necessities that he would not otherwise be able to afford. As the people of Gaza celebrate Ramadan, we implore you to give them one more thing to be grateful for by considering donating to their campaign.

You can donate to Mohammed's GoFundMe campaign [HERE].

Imagine dedicating your life to helping others, selflessly pouring your time and energy into saving lives and easing suffering. Suddenly, the home and way of life you knew is destroyed by bombs raining from the sky, and the roles are reversed—your family’s survival is suddenly in the hands of others.

Imagine Dedicating Your Life To Helping Others, Selflessly Pouring Your Time And Energy Into Saving Lives

Image: Samy Abu-Shawish, his wife Nariman, and their four children: Lulu, Emad, Mohammed, and Adam.

@Samy_abu_Sh

Story by @rumiandroses

This is reality for Samy Abu-Shawish, a nurse in Gaza, whose career has been spent saving lives—yet now, he must face incredible odds to save his own family.

Samy, a staff nurse at UNRWA, and his wife Nariman, also a nurse, are parents to four children: Lulu, Emad, Mohammad, and Adam. They are seeking help—a chance to escape the unfathomable nightmare that over a year of bombings and death and starvation has brought to Gaza.

With the violence escalating by the day, Samy and his family live under constant threat of attack. Samy and Nariman do their best to shield their children from the horrors unfolding around them, praying that the kindness of strangers will allow them to escape to safety—an opportunity the family otherwise cannot afford.

“The cost of leaving Gaza is beyond our means,” Samy shares. “Without your help, our dreams of a safe and peaceful future for our family remain out of reach.”

Currently, the only viable route out of Gaza is through Egypt, but it comes at a staggering price. Adults are being charged $5,000 to $10,000 for safe passage, with children’s fees at roughly half that. For Samy and his family of six, that would be a cost of approximately $40,00.

Despite completing a master’s degree in public health in June 2023 and dedicating his career to the service of others, Samy now finds himself with limited resources after funding his own higher education. The blockade of goods and aid into Gaza have caused the prices of everything—even the most basic of necessities like food, medicine, and clothes—to skyrocket, making basic survival incredibly difficult, and rendering saving for safe passage nigh on impossible.

Samy’s wish is simple: to find safety for his children and give them a future free from fear.

"As healthcare professionals, we have dedicated our lives to caring for others, and now we humbly ask for your help in ensuring the safety and well-being of our own family," Samy writes on his GoFundMe page.

Every donation brings this family one step closer to safety. With your support, Samy, Nariman, and their children can escape the violence and begin to rebuild their lives in safety.

If you cannot donate, please share this post to help Samy find people who can financially assist.

Story written by @fabricated-pessimist

In Gaza, hundreds of thousands of parents are left speechless as they endure the countless atrocities inflicted upon their children. For many families, they lose their child before they even have the chance to truly know them—their dreams, their aspirations.

The Alamoudi family longed for a child for years. After enduring four grueling rounds of IVF, they were finally blessed with twins. But their joy was short-lived. As the war raged on, their baby, Ahmed, was born with urgent medical needs—holes in his heart requiring immediate surgery. On top of this, he suffers from nerve damage in his eye. Yet his parents are powerless, unable to seek the medical care he desperately needs, forced to watch helplessly as their child’s condition deteriorates by the day.

Imagine being a parent, filled with love and hope, only to realize that your child is being denied the medical attention they deserve because of an inhumane crisis. Ahmed’s father, Sharif, is unable to work overseas due to a herniated disc that causes severe spinal and nerve pain. As of this writing, their campaign has gone without donations for a long time.

We implore you—please, consider donating. Even the cost of a daily coffee could bring this family a moment of peace in their desperate fight to save their child.

You can donate to the Alamoudi family’s GoFundMe campaign [HERE].

I have struggled with a BED for almost 5 years of my life, and I have currently been in recovery. It’s not even really recovery because my therapist refuses to acknowledge the fact that I have a BED. I have been eating more healthy foods and have avoided my trigger foods (icing, candies, peanut butter, etc). To actually see that I am actually getting better and to hear it from other people makes me so happy, my goal is to be at a healthy weight and lifestyle and to never binge again.

The markets are empty, and hunger has reached its peak.

The massacre continues and is increasing…

Unfortunately, it has become something ordinary that does not shake the conscience of this world.

Thousands of families are displaced again.

An entire nation is homeless in the streets,

Without shelter, without food, without life, without hope.

We have been left alone facing nothingness…

I hope my family will not have to flee from the north again.💔💔🙏

AITA for calling my (19F) boss's (20? M?) dick small?

I accompanied my boss on a work trip recently, and due to some circumstances we ended up being stuck in a dirt hole together for a couple of hours. During an attempt to get out of said hole, I saw a frog which startled me and I fell on top of my boss. For context it's important that as far as I knew, my boss is a eunuch. When I fell on him, I accidentally touched his dick. This suprised me, because i thought he didn't have one, so I kept my hand there to check for about 5 minutes. For some reason this made him uncomfortable. He started talking about something that isn't related to this incident, and I didn't really want to talk about it, so I pretended that instead of his dick I touched the frog I've seen before. This seemed to annoy him a little, so I kept talking and accidentally said his "frog" was only somewhat large. I think this might have made him really angry, but thankfully the awkward situation was resolved because my sister's boyfriend and his dog rescued us from the hole. I didn't think any more about the incident, but later that day he still seemed agitated and wanted to talk to me about something. I wasn't paying too much attention, because he finally gave me the pay bonus I'd asked for some months earlier, but now I feel kind of bad. Should I tell him that his dick is regular sized? Would it be a bad idea to bring it up since he is supposed to be a eunuch?

EDIT: He isn't my direct boss, he's an official who manages the area I work in. He asks for my advice with his work occasionally, which is why I was on this trip to begin with.

EDIT 2: What is this "personal space" you all keep yelling about in the comments. It doesn't seem relevant to my situation

Imagine waking up to the deafening roar of explosions, your tent shaking violently as the earth trembles beneath you. In an instant, everything is chaos—your children scream in terror, clutching onto you as you scramble to escape. The sky is filled with smoke and falling debris, the air thick with dust and panic. There is no time to think, no time to gather what little you have left. You run—barefoot, desperate, carrying your baby in your arms—praying that you will make it out alive.

@hanon-qazaz

Story written by @rumiandroses

For Hossam Al-Qazzaz and his family, this nightmare became reality LAST NIGHT (03/17/2025) when an airstrike obliterated their tent—their last refuge after losing their home, a casualty of the war in Gaza. With no shelter, no safety, and nowhere left to run, they are once again plunged into unimaginable uncertainty as the ceasefire in Gaza collapses and war reignites around them.

Hossam, a dedicated father of four, has already lost his home, his job, and his peace of mind due to the relentless bombardments in Gaza in the 15 months preceding the now,-collapsed ceasefire. Now, with nothing but debris around them, he, his wife Hanan, and their four children—Bashar (9), Hani (8), Diana (4), and 5-month-old Habiba—are now struggling to survive with no roof over their heads.

The suffering extends beyond Hossam, his wife, and his children. Hossam is also the sole caretaker of his elderly parents, aged 75 and 72, both in fragile health. His father is suffering from severe burns and urgently needs medical care, while his mother battles high blood pressure and requires constant attention. But with no home, no stable source of income, and skyrocketing prices for essentials like rice and cooking gas—driven by the border closures and the ban on goods entering Gaza—Hossam is trapped in an incredibly difficult and stressful situation.

Despite these unbearable challenges, Hossam is not asking for much—only the money needed to survive, and to be able to evacuate to safety when the border crossing opens again.

"All we want is to live in dignity," Hossam pleads.

This is where you can make a difference. Every small donation—no matter how modest—can help provide food, clothing, and medical care for Hossam, Hanan, their children, and elderly parents. It can help ensure that Habiba gets the milk and diapers she desperately needs and that his family is not left out in the open with nowhere to turn.

Please, if you can, donate or share Hossam’s story today. Your support can be the difference between survival and despair.

One last plea... before I lose him forever

I'm not asking for money... I'm asking for life. I'm asking for a chance to see my child open his eyes again, laugh, call for me... I'm asking for a chance to hold him without feeling his breath disappear in my hands.

His frail body is trembling, his eyes are filled with fear, he's searching for me as if he knows the end is near... and I stand helplessly by his side, my heart crumbling, my soul torn apart a thousand times every second. The doctors said he needs urgent surgery, but death is faster than me... and money stands between me and saving him.
