and here is the chibify prompt list for this year! Rules are simple. Draw every prompt in chibi art style. Chibi here is defined by a big head and big eyes (generally baby-like) character proportions and generally simple and cuter style of drawing. What you consider to fit under these can vary but as long as it doesn't have too many lines, its cute and has big head and eyes I pretty much consider it ok for this. Challenge yourself with this art style if it is new to you or just doodle for fun. Just don't burn yourself out ;3

Hi all! October is almost here, and this year I wanted to challenge myself to draw a whole short comic one panel a day during it. A few other people got excited about the idea, and I thought it would be fun to make one of these prompt lists so other people can participate as well. Thank you to everyone who sent prompt words here and on insta! I could not use them all but they were all appreciate.

When participating, use whatever methods and medium you want! The goal is to have fun, and make comics, not take it too seriously.

I thought it would be fun to have a way for people to share their work where we can all see it, so I coined the name and hashtag. Based on what I know they're not in use by anyone else right now so I went for it. Use whatever methods you want and post wherever you feel like it. I would love to see what people come up with!

We are not affiliated with inktober but will be stealing the daily drawing challenge and also using the hashtag for visibility for this post. sorry not sorry.

Doing this art challenge this October! I’ve seen a 2023 one floating around but wanted a calendar that matched my flavours of cringe lmao. I have done a lot of them in advance because I know doing one drawing a day isn’t realistic for me but have had a lot of fun doing them! Will be posting one a day for the whole month and adding pics of my original cringe to the post too <3
