Also, what about the fire and heat part? I am actually really curious about that one.
Soo, you have summoned the ancient one?
Anyway, let me start yapping.
First question: What are each of the Naga's favorite food/animal? And how diverse are their diets? Is it like that Tomura eats anything and everything and Dabi is like: I cam only eat 2,75 year old bird of this exact species that died when the sun kisses the mountains in the north. And Tomura is like carbs are carbs as he chews down om something questionable looking.
And where do they hide or what do they do during amd after sheds? Like my own pet snake hides under their water dish and then had a beautiful yellow glow with the usual reflective rainbow stuff. So does like Tomura hide in his cave as he is pissy and blind and has a blue or red glow after? Amd does Dabi have to bring him like damp moss for humidity for an easier shed? And does he held him bathe and clean if he has a bad shed? And I think Dabi would have easier sheds with his smooth scales.
How territorial are they? And do they still have some family bonds? Like does Dabi want to visit his family or does Tonura mourn the loss of his own or do they just not care.
Also what is their stance on fire? Because I know my snake could burn itself and be like mhmmm warm.. oh why does it smell burnt? Idk... who cares. Did that like happen with Dabi and Tomura makes fun of him like he doesn't have small burns on his stomach from sunbathing on boiling rocks?
It’s like my prayers have been answered
First question: Dabi has a very sensitive stomach, he has to be very careful about what he eats. He HAS to have his meats cleaned and well cooked, or else he’ll get sick. Dabi likes lamb and fresh fruit. Makes him very happy whenever presented with a fruit tree.
Shigaraki is feral, he’s not a picky guy. Will chow down on human flesh if hungry enough. Tomura likes wild boar and mice, he finds it specially tasty when he had to fight to get it
Shigaraki does indeed hide during shedding, bro doesn’t like people looking at him. He finds it so humiliating whenever his vision gets cloudy, hisses every time he bumps into something.
Dabi just sees it as a normal process but very cumbersome. Requires some assistance from Shigaraki.
Dabi has no desire to see his family, he’ll get very upset if he even thinks about them intruding on his territory and fucking with his mate/possible hatchlings. He’s chill with Rei and his siblings but it’s on SIGHT for Enji
Shigaraki is very quiet about his family, only mentioning them when needed. He does keep some remnants of their bodies in the den but he’s rarely in that spot.
They are territorial, they loathe it whenever some human or other mythical creature is in their domain. It’s especially bad whenever it’s wintertime/food is possibly scarce or when Shigadabi have entered their mating cycle.
When Reader comes into the mix, it only makes them extra territorial.
(Thanks for this! I’ve been longing to YAP again)
Tbh if you steal fanfic you are the lowest scum on earth. Like most fanfic is free, so why steal and sell it? That is like peak-capitalism that destroys what we love most only for one person to make profit off of the work of another one.
With all the nonsense happening because people are selling fanfics on Etsy, I’m gonna lay down some rules real quick for myself.
My work is not allowed to be reposted anywhere. I don’t care if it’s translated or what. It’s my work and I decide what happens to it.
If I see my work reposted, stolen, or being sold, I will remove it instantly from everywhere. Gone forever. No one gets to see it anymore.
I’ve had my work stolen, it’s not fun. It’s not a compliment to how good it is. It’s awful and I’m still not over it.
If you want to print out my stories and bind them for your own personal use, then please show me your hard work, and enjoy your own personal copy. Do not sell it.
These stories are hard work, if they weren’t then why are people stealing fanfics and selling them? Write your own shit or get off the planet with that nonsense.
Fanfics are not meant to be sold. My works are original, yes, but fanfic is the backbone and catalyst of mine and many other’s writing career. Fanfics are not meant to be sold because they are fab works and the original creators can, have, and will use the law to their fullest. Then no one gets anything. Fandom as you know it will crash and burn. Fanfic and fanart are free for this very reason.
This isn’t funny of cute. There are serious and dubious repercussions. You’re hurting everyone.
This would be so funny for real.
But I can also imagine the immediate judgement and concern for everyone, because now it's very much clear that Dabi isn't the father... and Tomura might not even be related the the little thing.
Everyone stared at the little Naga with green scales. Their eyes traveled to Tomura and then to Dabi with an obvious glare in them. The Phoenix felt all their eyes on him and then his mate. It was painfully obvious that they weren't the parents of the egg they had taken care of all this time.
Tomura just held the little thing in his arms and against his feathery chest while the little green Naga flicked their tongue at him and curled their tail weakly around his arm. The silence around them grew thicker with every passing second. Tomura knew they had to come clean to their flock. He knew they would judge him and Dabi... they might even request Dabi and the hatchling to be thrown out.
In the end, it was Kurogiri, Tomura's caretaker, for all these years who spoke up. "So, I am guessing the hatchling isn't yours fully?" He spoke carefully as everyone could just smell the protective hormones. Tomura was spilling left and right as he held the little one.
"No, it's mine. It's my hatchling. No matter what," he hissed as he looked up to them. His shaky crimson eyes inspected all of them, and every little breath was done under watchful eyes. "I don't care what you think. They are my little one. If you have something against that, then you can leave or challenge me," he grumbled, though most of them knew the second option was not available to any of them. If there was anything Tomura was known for, then his strength and brutal fighting style, a challenge for the position of the lead would be a life or death match.
"And no, I won't send Dabi or the hatchling away. Accept that or fuck off," he hissed as he turned his back towards them to give his newly hatched baby some space and privacy from their eyes.
Dabi took that as his cue to throw them all out, which he managed to do after some arguing with Kurogiri and other members. Some wanted to stay to see the hatchling, others criticized their choice to steal or just adopt a Naga egg and some even begged Dabi to talk sense into his mate since that Naga would be their death later.
After he had restored peace, he turned to Tomura. "We are keeping it?" He asked a little unsure. He knew they could have taken care of another harpy... but a Naga? That's a little much for first-time parents like them.... and not even talking about what this meant for their flock. The lies and betrayal were obvious.
"Yes... and don't call them it." He instructed his mate as he turned to him with the little one against his chest. He had taken the time to clean their face, body, and scales. Now they were a pretty, dull dark green. "Here, our... little one," he whispered as he kissed their head while trying his very best to keep their cool body warm against his.
Dabi would be lying if he said this wasn't charming in any way. He knew the concerns and danger... but right now, it seemed that his thoughts were only focused on the curled up little Naga. They looked at him with curious light brown eyes and a soft smile, showing their little fangs.
Dabi walked over to them and sat down next to Tomura, inspecting the little hatchling who watched him intrigue and flicked their adorable pink tongue at him. The hair on their head was messy, and they were surprisingly smooth to touch.
Once he had settled down fully against him, he felt a small pain in his wings. He was about to hiss but suppressed it when Tomura had picked up a small dark feather and tugged it behind the Naga's ear. Just a second later, he plugged one of his own white feathers and placed it alongside it. "Aren't they adorable?"
Dabi knew this was a losing battle as the little Naga looked at them both with big eyes and tried to move their hands to Tomura and Dabi from time to time. How could he hate something he had guarded with his life and honor for the past months. He had taken care of Tomura and the egg with all the love he had.
"They are, as adorable as you."
Funny idea: So the egg that Dabi brought back begins to hatch and everyone gets into a tizzy. Toga and Twice are excited to meet their new flock mate, Magne, Compress and Kurogiri are fetching supplies to clean the baby, Spinner is trying to keep everyone chill and Shigadabi are monitoring the egg. Soon, your face is revealed. Downy feathers aren’t in sight, which confuses everybody. Kurogiri chalks it up to them just not having head feathers, which is normal in some harpy breeds. Then they get a closer look, no wings either. Shigaraki pulls you out of the egg, not at all caring about the sticky residue. A serpent’s tail rolls down as everyone gazes in shock. Not a harpy but a naga. Shigaraki’s heart almost stops at seeing the emerald green scales. shit
@messedupcookiejar
He ain't no fairy, he is a big cranky moth boy. Chilling in the dark and staring at the lights. Sometimes banging his head against the lamps he is holding.
So, one day I went a bit insane and made 50+ pictures of Tomura as a fairy, and today I'm finally posting it!!!!
At the end there'll be the link to download them all!

Hero ranking system implies Villain ranking system
I know that may just be my opinion, but I also think it has to do something with the covers. At least when I compare it to older books aka ones my mom has.
If I would go in a bookstore today a lot of covers don't particularly look like they fit the vibe of the book. I don't wanna namedrop names, but I think if a story has hardcore shut you shouldn't put a pastel colored cover on it with cartoon flowers ect. Like my mother's book who had smit often showed two people kissing sensually half naked. Or one person being half naked. That's how you usually know. Today that does not count anymore because most books have the "mature" cover or "child-like" cover and it does not reflect what is in the book as much as it wished.
I mean we say, don't judge a book by its cover, but we should. There cover should reflect the vibe of the book. If it's about blood, murder, cannibalism, revenge and sex or if it's about coming of age stories or self discovery without too hard topics.
Please don't give smit books nice flower pastel covers. You know what I am talking about. Don't make adult books look like children books.
How fast smut has inflitrated books, mostly bestsellers aimed at young girls and young adults is very concerning. Back in the day it was mostly just to be found in fanfics and doujinshis and stuff like that and frowned upon by the public.
Now the consens has shifted to being completely fine with hardcore stuff put in fantasy books and the like with no warning whatsoever on the covers. This is absolutely irresponsible from the publishers.
I don't wanna name names, but it's definitely the fault of booktok and how smut has infiltrated any form of mainstream media.
Booktok was a mistake.
