Марина Фомина. - Про елочку.
(Inspired by John 1:29–34 & Matthew 11:2–6) *In my mind, this poem is sung to the tune of the hymn “Morning Has Broken.”
When you are aching, deep in the silence, when all the answers seem far away— Know that your questions are not a weakness— God hears your aching even today.
John once was certain, sure of the promise. Then came the prison, then came the doubt. “Are you the one, Lord?” He dared to whisper— Still Jesus welcomed faith working out.
If you are asking, still, you are hoping. If you are knocking, still, you believe. Doubt is not failure. Fear is not faithless. God meets us gently when we can’t see.
Still, we keep singing, still we keep walking, bearing our questions through joy and pain. Faith is the journey, Questions will guide us— Love is the promise that will remain.
