And we could all sit around and wonder and feel bad about each other and blame a lot of people for what they did or didn't do or what they didn't know. I don't know. I guess there could always be someone to blame. It's just different. Maybe it's good to put things in perspective, but sometimes, I think that the only perspective is to really be there. Because it's okay to feel things. I was really there."

Egyptian Religious Calendar

Today 21 January 2017 - XXIV day of Shef-Bedet, the fifth month of the Lunar Calendar (in the CDXVII Great Year of Ra according to the Civil Calendar).

Religious Prescriptions: Adverse day “Do not sail in a boat on this day. As to anyone who today approaches on the River, he will not live.”

Religious Festivities: The XXIV day of the lunar month is sacred to Nut. It is called the “Feast of the Shadows”, and the Little Naw is the God of the Feast.

- Feast of the Victory of Horus (five-day festivity, IV day): “Feast of Victory … . when Seth is punished … . as a hippo, and His Majesty (Horus) is a Falcon.” [T. Behdet, c. Horus]
