Jake's strong too obviously, typical Hephaestus kids strength,but no one expects Michael be as strong as he is.

But this kid is hauling around people as a medic. Not to mention draw weight for a actual bow can be heavy especially for expert archers pretty sure. Any Apollo kid who main archery or are medics likely have lot of strength especially with their arms.

Michael is both an archer and an active medic(as we know Will learned under him). He's definitely strong.

Jake gets hurt and can't walk much on his own and Michael has no problem getting him to the infirmary.

Will's throwing people over his shoulder without second thought. Imagine Nico in the infirmary during the 3 days and just watching Will throw an fussy injured Sherman Yang over his shoulder and taking him to a cot to get him to lay down. No trouble doing it what so ever.

Lee too. 100% you have Luke, most respected and looked up to demigod in camp, who just gets picked up by Lee like he weighs nothing. Gods help him when he's in trouble.

Lee especially i feel pretty strong. He has even more years of being at camp and is fully grown. But like his siblings, he looks a whole lot more harmless than he is.

Idk why think idea of Apollo kids being perceived as harmless but able to absolutely wreck you is so fun. Think it fits them

Apollo is god of music, poetry, healing. But also of plagues and archery(usually used in war). He's god of the sun, which helps give life but can also harm you in the same vein. He's the god of truth, bringing light to one's own guilt and purifying them of it.

Despite everything he is, he's often seen for his lighter side.

like one minute he's snapping and swearing at some random Ares kid and throwing punches and kicking kneecaps and shit

One thing I will say about Cassandra Clare and early Shadowhunters stuff is she stood on business ten toes down when it came to her villains. No lame nature vs. nurture debates, no last minute cop out redemption arcs for the YA audience, just demon incest, Victorian Elon musk and demon STDs that turn you into an evil worm. 10/10 no notes.

Jake is really bad at restraining from kissing Michael.

Whether it be on the lips,cheek, head,wherever, he just love kissing Michael.

Michael likes to tease him sometimes about it and uses it to his advantage. Like withholding kisses until he gets healed or whatever when he's obviously ignoring his injuries. Having him work for one etc.

Jake pouts but he actually doesn't mind it, Michael isn't a touchy person, so anytime he let's Jake give him any form of affection is a win in his book.

Michael is a great kisser too,always gentle with it. Really for how much attitude and sass he gives in his daily life, he's still very gentle when it comes to affection.

It always makes Jake melt. Michael cups his face in his hands, his touch gentle and warm. His voice quiet when he tells Jake he loves him. In some ways it can feel like Michael is giving Jake the comfort to pull away if he wants to. As if he's still not sure Jake truly adores him like he says. Like he doesn't want to make him uncomfortable.

Of course Jake never pulls away unless he has to. He adore these moments. The times he manages to pull Michael away from work. To unwind and relax. He wraps his arms around Michael. He runs his hands through Michael's hair. He tells him so surely he loves him. That he can rest. He doesn't have to burn himself out to keep others warm.

Michael absolutely melts into Jake's arms, smiling into his kiss and leans into his touch.

Michael's love is a warmth that brushes against you yet is so noticeable to those who look for it. Jake's is a warmth that surrounds you,entirely wrapping around you. Letting you fall into it.

Now, I'm not up to date with the books, but from what I gathered Alexander is it for Magnus. Before Alec, Magnus never married, never even bothered to imagine a forever with someone. Alec, in his simplicity and contradictions, has managed to tear down and entirely destroy that wall that had been up for centuries. And while Magnus desperately wants to hope for their forever, desperately wants it, he knows how it is going to end. He knows Alexander is going to pass someday and what he decides to do?

He takes is surname.

I can very well imagine Magnus never removing their wedding ring, even after Alec's passing, which would be a declaration on itself. But the surname?

He is not only saying "oh, he was my love, we were married once". He is incorporating him in his identity. We know how important identity is for a warlock, they usually choose their names for themselves. And Magnus is choosing to making Alec part of it, part of himself.

In a couple of centuries, when the present will only be a chapter in the book of history, Magnus still be Magnus Lightwood-Bane. He would still be Magnus Bane, but he would still be declaring, centuries from now, that he loved a shadowhunter once. That there's a part of him that still will be loving that shadowhunter.
