1. kurasora (sky means sora in japanese, this ship name sounds better imo if anybody is stalking this post):

for cloud, i’m assuming either he’s still recovering from trauma or that sephiroth has invaded his brain. i feel like he just could use some warmth so i would definitely hold him and tell him that no matter what happened, it was never his fault and that it’s okay to still have nightmares. i’d probably soothe him by making him some tea mostly or even just running my hands in his chocobo-like hair. for myself, cloud would also do similar except he lets his actions do the talking instead of his words so he’s definitely hold me tight — rather rare since it’s harder for him to show affection since he doesn’t want to get too attached but he’ll do his best in order to comfort.

2. iwasky:

hajime is RELUCTANT but he tries to play final fantasy with me cause i told him i’m in the game (he regrets it because he knew i am not). he ends up liking aerith because he sees me somewhat and he gets annoyed since i said he’s basically cloud with the way he acts (his amazon cart has the cosplay already in it). another game is smash bros but he likes that more cause then he can get payback against me, his main is cloud (he also regrets this for like 0.2 seconds but he likes his playstyle) since i get distract and ultimately, he wins. i tried to get him into genshin, honkai star rail, and fate grand order but he said no cause he doesn’t want to go broke for pixels.

3. iwasky:

my favorite date is probably our first date since he was flustered and probably went for the most casual thing he could think of, an amusement park to which he won me a giant gible plushie and he was able to protect me from my fear of heights. he did NOT pick this idea, tooru did and he hatecrimed tooru because i looked miserable on every ride to which tooru texted back, “it’s okay, you’re protect her, iwa-chan! 😋🫶✨‼️” the arcade was fun as well as the food. bonus if it’s disneyland because star wars land is the BEST.

i mean honestly, yes. dan heng and i definitely enjoy just being next to each other so i believe quality time is a great one. he probably works on the data bank while i sleep since i sleep so much and he ends up reading it out loud to me to check for grammatical mistakes but also since i’m curious about his adventures since leaving the luofu. i’m sure it was relaxing for the most part to speak about his adventures and just makes me wish to travel more so maybe one day we could take our own little adventure outside of my dreams<3

i feel like this was inspired by a certain conversation… but anyway! love this one AHAHAHAHAH! anyway zack is the type to not have an iternary because he’s just bouncing off the walls which who blames him?? ITS BEACH TIME!! but i digress, a beach day is definitely a fun day! (provided that costa del sol isn’t also giving monsters a vacation as well, ahem anyway…) but definitely he’d grab me and throw me into the water as soon as we got to the beach, he’d make sure it’s safe but he’s also SUCH a tease. though, he’d realize we forgot sun screen so he waits about 20 minutes before throwing me in again. we also would have a picnic on the beach honestly, the resort provides the food though. he’s like 23 at this point so he’s a bit more mature but still has that childish glow. i’d try to teach him beach volleyball too, he’s so bad unless he’s serving overhand LOL. overall, a fun day without the monsters as we play in the water, perhaps building sandcastles and teaching each other small things about ourselves :)

6. iwasky:

iwaizumi hajime does not neglect great date SPOTS. he definitely does just silly little things like errands but sometimes he’ll trick me and just take me on a long drive!! my favorite time that he did this is when he took me up high on a mountain and overlooked the whole city as well as all of the lights below. he claims it’s because i needed to get out of bed more but i know he’s dying to take me. what’s even better is that along that, there’s an observatory at the top of the mountain and there’s a planetarium since he knows i like the stars but all he sees is his star while he smiles brightly at how happy i am, looking down below.

7. neuvisky:

neuvillette definitely seems like the type to be mr. worldwide SOLELY FOR THAT FACT that the water is delicious. i believe he would want the journey to be as short as possible though for work… unfortunately. he and i are both glad he could make the time though. we’d definitely go to the new area that released!! he probably likes it because there’s so much water there so it’s similar to what he’s used to and cause it’s closer than the rest. it was a small date for the two of us but it’s definitely nice to see how much neuvillette knows everything and explain the difference between waters<33

melusiné & i would have the “i hate everybody but her” and the “who did this???” tropes because she loves with all of her heart and sacrifices for those she loves. i don’t believe i could like anybody else if she wasn’t there to fill me with the joy that she does every time i open fgo… i know miss dragon would lose herself if somebody were to hurt me though — she gets protective and possessive easily.

my college experience thus far!

a/n: have fun experiencing college through my eyes, major will not be specified! will definitely be a stem major though in certain scenarios

characters: haikyuu and genshin x gn! reader ; college au with iwaizumi, cyno, kuroo, tooru

warnings: mentions of rejection, these will vary in size because some of the men are not very present in my life anymore nor had a huge interaction (very short hcs because i do not interact enough with others and it shows… kidding. sorta LMAO.)

tooru - the high school best friend

it wasn’t like you guys planned to kiss while watching anime on a saturday night during hanging out

you weren’t a rebound either for his last girlfriend who decided that he prioritized volleyball over him

he did his best to make sure that your friendship was his main priority which is why he always had spoiled you in silly ways, even his parents and family members took such a liking to you

you were rather enjoyable and you pushed tooru to focus on his grades but you never forced him into anything that he was not ready for

which leads back to this moment where you’re outside of your car, not expecting the night to go as it did

you guys ended up having a brief talk before a call from your parents about your curfew

tooru never ended up going to college but he supported your decision to go and let you study with him while he worked on his career for volleyball

“are you sure that you’re ready for a relationship again, tooru?”

and with a quick tilt of his head and a slight smirk as he whispered, “have i ever steered you wrong, y/n?” he smiled as he closed the distance between your lips again before opening your car door, “see you tomorrow.”

iwaizumi - your first college best friend

you two had gotten paired up with two other individuals in your group, it was all your first class together in college. everything is new and different, jetlag included for some (iwaizumi)

he ended up falling asleep and missing an 8 am class, big mistake for this huge group project that you all had made. luckily, you got his instagram account.

it was surprisingly empty on his account so you could not figure out much about him but he had responded later on in the evening to your surprise which blossomed a very close bond between the two of you…

though only just being friends could not only be enough for you, he was everything that you could ever imagine and more as a partner.

after thinking on it enough, one day you decided to tell him how you feel to see if it had been reciprocated.

sure enough, iwaizumi needed time... and you were okay with that. you knew giving him time would be what was best for you both. luckily your friendship had survived it.

after enough time, he finally approached you in person and asked if you would like to hang out and walk around campus.

and eventually, he asked you out to dinner to your favorite restaurant on campus… the food court where you both made it official.

kuroo- we have chemistry together

this guy…

you met him in your chemistry lab together, he made a small comment in your direction about titrations since you could not get the water to be a light pink color. he still wore this devilish smirk on his face as he looked in your direction.

clearly he was messing with you, though bokuto also had been in for it as well… that poor guy had to deal with kuroo constantly.

he managed to make you laugh though on several occasions. you both eventually ended up studying together because of this, it was never intentional how you fell for him.

boy was it a slow play of his, several semesters had passed and you two had several occasions where he eventually started to play a game to see when you would text back since you had been so busy with work yourself.

eventually, you both started to text more and more…

random conversations would come up like “is it gay if you kiss the homies goodnight when they wear socks but you don’t?”

you managed to morph yourself into his friend group, getting all their approval. somehow, they planned to get you two together.

your new friends and you had managed to get a table at a restaurant for ramen. it was rather delicious and the noodles tasted fresh before he jokingly asked you what is the most cliche date ever. though, what you didn’t realize — was he was actually asking you out…

“let’s go to the aquarium, i can tell you the chemistry of how things work there. so how about it?”

dumbfounded. all you could say was sure before waiting for a few other hangouts before your eventual ‘date’. you needed confirmation so you didn’t accidentally find yourself falling for a man who didn’t love you back.

“kuroo… are you asking me out on an actual date?”

“do you want it to be?” there was no hesitation in his words as he picked out another awful outfit for your guys’ date. it would be rather ridiculous to be this dressed up for an aquarium.

and that’s how you managed to get your first kiss stolen.

you two had met in your recent physics class, you both had failed miserably on your first exam.

though, cyno couldn’t take it anymore. he needed to call you, he needed to talk. he just needed somebody to hear him out

⌗ what’s it like dating sephiroth? it’s along the lines of sneaking around to meet at your most favorite spots, learning how to love, delicate touches and kisses, elements of forbidden romance, healing and deep conversations involving lots of reassurance.

⌗ sephiroth isn’t very familiar with physical affection, it’s something he never had the luxury of experiencing all his life.. so he would be a bit awkward with it, confused even, but he’s willing to learn cuz he wants to bond with you more! that and he’s hella touch starved.. although he won’t say🙁

⌗ love language, let’s see.. he also seems like the acts of service kinda guy, but values words of affirmation — whether towards himself or towards you. he doesn’t want his unwarranted popularity to bring you doubt of your own worth, but he also wants to hear he’s enough for you, since he, um, doesn’t view himself in the best light.. sobs.

⌗ the first date.. well, i would think you guys would have been together during the crisis core era cuz like.. after nibelheim.. kinda hard. unless you have jenova cells😭 anyways- the first date! he was not sure on where to take you, given his schedule and just him not um being sure on where to take you.. somehow, though, you ended up at a beautiful library, straight out of a fairytale setting. how he found such a hidden gem in midgar of all places stayed unknown to you, but it was such a lovely outing together<3 he seemed so carefree and at ease ( im sobbing. )

⌗ if anybody dares talk shit about sephiroth or make him feel outcasted, inhuman — whatever they have made him feel — BEAT THEM UP!! although, not actually.. because he won’t let you😐 still, he finds it sweet that despite his power and capability of ending somebody’s career — you won’t hesitate for even a second to stand up for him. likewise, if people dare to hurt you in anyway, it’s on sight.

⌗ ah, the i love you.. he would take a minute to say it because he’s still trying to understand the concept of love and process that you actually feel that way about him. but you wouldn’t say it first — he would. because you want him to say it when he feels it’s right, cuz you don’t wanna pressure him or anything..

⌗ sephiroth became a father of a very, very adorable feline friend that you surprised him with one day to keep him company. he was confused at first — but has grown fond of the cat and it’s his best friend now. they have the same eye color too and the cat has silver fur!!

⌗ what’s it like dating cloud? it’s late nights underneath the stars, comforting words and squeezes, a rollercoaster of challenges that you will have to overcome in order to be with one another.. and emotional constipation on his end for sure, but he’s trying his best!

⌗ cloud isn’t exactly the easiest with pda, he gets embarassed easily and doesn’t seem like the type to uh.. want people watching him do something outside of his norm? not really the spotlight loving type despite the wall market arc.. but he is okay with handholding and locking pinkies even too<3

⌗ his love language, hm.. i think it would be acts of service on the giving end, and for the receiving end, i think words of affirmation would suit his wants. he just wants to make sure he’s doing okay for you, every now and again he needs to hear it. otherwise i do see physical affection behind curtains.. he’s not openly expressive on it — has a hard time asking for stuff🥹

⌗ zack is a pretty emotional person, he feels very easily so if you’re hurt or upset, he aches for you. he rlly wants you to be happy, doesn’t want to see your smile taken away, ever. so he does everything in his power to ensure your happiness and if it’s people who have brought you sadness, then oh boy, they have another thing coming..

⌗ he kinda blurts the i love you out first without thinking tbh, it just comes out and he has the widest grin on his face when he says it. he fr doesn’t know what he’s doing to you, no matter how flustered or warm your chest feels, he’s so nonchalant about it😭 like why should he wait when he knows how he feels??

⌗ what’s it like dating angeal? being treated with lots of care and gentleness, bit of a mom for a boyfriend at times cuz he wants to make sure you’re taken care of, cradling your face in his hands like you’re his everything and saving you no matter the odds, like a guardian angel.

⌗ pda won’t um.. be so much, bro is very respectful of space and has to be proper or whatever because of honor!! that and he kinda has an image to upkeep, especially with zack around — gotta show the right example of having a significant other! but when you’re alone, he likes to hold you close and just enjoy your presence tbh

⌗ the love language.. let me see, i think he would be a mixture between acts of service and quality time. he enjoys being with you and any company he can get when he isn’t called on missions or babysitting training zack. when he can’t be present, he does things for you to express his love — genesis urges him to!!

⌗ okay let’s see.. the first date, well — again, cc timeline here too since he also, um, leaves.. ANYWAY. where was the location of the first date, you might ask, well.. the museum tbh! i think he would enjoy the calmness of it and just looking at different works of art.. except his most favorite work would fr distract him from any other scenes — that being you. so plan failed on his end, but you had enjoyed yourself lots, and that made him happy to witness🫶

⌗ the amount of panic he would feel if he saw you hurt, like bro is meant to protect you — he promised that he would.. so angeal would feel like he failed you in a sense for not being there to prevent your pain, but you remind him that he’s there now and that you feel safe again, grounded in spite of the hurt you earlier felt.

⌗ i think the first i love you would come from you cuz he just.. wouldn’t know the right time or chance to say it LMAO so you end up saying it which brings this look of shock to his face, but then a warm smile would stretch across his lips, knowing you felt the same as he did<3

⌗ can’t sleep? he’s got plenty of stories to tell about his childhood and some silly events during his missions. it feels foreign to hear this lighthearted, less mature side to him, but it’s also a breath of fresh air and makes you feel special that he allows you to see this more relaxed side to him that isn’t a stoic overly responsible SOLDIER🗣️
