Young children are to be guided as they learn about themselves and the world we live in. It grieves the Lord’s heart to witness so many be mislead in celebrating wickedness under the guise of festive fun or free sweets. Whether you actively partake or are passive when it comes to Halloween, the protection of young children should concern all. In the same way a loving parent would not want to willingly expose their child to life threatening danger, the same conviction should be had when it comes to Halloween. There is too much spiritual darkness taking place that the natural eyes cannot see, that then manifests differently in the lives of young people because, they weren’t always protected from demonic deception growing up. Some people may not have known that so much could be beyond the costumes and celebrations we see. Others of you may not believe a word I’ve said and think it’s being too deep. Either way, it is my hope this offers enlightenment on the protection of children not only in the physical but in the spiritual too.
3 Tips from my Last Conference!
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I’ve made several grand conference posts over the past year. Well, I'm back from yet another conference and I wanted to take some time to share just a few tips I was given. Nothing grand, just a few tidbits I found quite valuable :)
Set Clear and Specific Goals: You really can’t expect to cruise through life without a plan. My mother always told me growing up “if you don’t plan for life, life will plan for you”. At the conference, this lesson was pressed by every single leader present. And it’s really a quite simple formula: Define your goals in a clear, specific, and measurable way. Set both short-term and long-term goals, and create a plan with actionable steps to achieve them. Regularly review and adjust your goals as needed.
Embrace a Limitless Mindset: There’s truly no limit to what you can do or achieve in life. So why limit yourself? Why aspire to make 100k a year as an entrepreneur when you can aspire to make 100k a week and drive incredible impact in the process? When I told one of the professionals at the conference that I plan on starting my own company one day they told me that I should aspire to be on the cover of Forbes as the face of that company within the next three years. Why? Because there's nothing stopping me. The greatest hurdle to one's success is their own mind so the sooner you can expect nothing but the absolute best the sooner you’ll see your life change in significant ways.
Work on Yourself Every Single Day: Meaning, every night before falling asleep you should be able to name at least one thing you did during the day to propel yourself forward. Whether it’s listening to a podcast episode on investing, doing 30 pushups, drafting up a LinkedIn post, etc. you have got to do something. So pull out your diary/journal/planner/notes app right now and make a weekly schedule outlining exactly how you are going to work towards your goals every single day.
That's it!
Lovingly,
Elle
