I never thought I would be writing this. I never thought I would be begging for help just to keep my children warm, just to feed them one more meal. But here I am, reaching out to you, because I have no other choice.
My name is Rola. I am a mother of two beautiful children, and before October 7th, we had a life filled with love and laughter. We had a home. My children had their own room, filled with their toys and drawings. We would sit together on our balcony, drinking coffee in the early morning light. We had dreams, just like any other family.
But in an instant, it was all gone.
A missile struck. The earth shook beneath us. The air filled with dust and fire. My husband and son ran, stumbling over each other in terror. I stood frozen, the ringing in my ears drowning out my own screams. Our home was shattered—windows blown out, doors ripped from their hinges. And when I looked outside, our neighbor’s house, a place that once echoed with children's laughter, was nothing but rubble and ash.
That was just the beginning.
The bombs never stopped. Every night, I held my children close as the sky rained fire. The sound of explosions mixed with the cries of mothers searching for their babies in the darkness. I covered my children, whispering words of comfort, but how do you comfort a child who is terrified of dying in their sleep?
We had to leave. We walked away from everything—our home, our memories, the warmth of our life before. My children left behind their favorite toys, their books, their safe space. Now, we have nothing.
No home.
No food.
No clean water.
No way out.
I went to buy sugar the other day. It cost $20 for just a kilo. Food is disappearing, and the little that remains is impossible to afford. Every day, I fight to find just enough to keep my children alive.
I am exhausted. I am scared. I need your help.
I never imagined I would have to beg for my family’s survival. But today, I am.
Please, if you are reading this, help us. Help me save my children. Help us find shelter, food, a way to rebuild even a small piece of the life we lost. If we ever have the chance to leave, we need support. If we are forced to stay, we need a home again.

The Gaslight District was. So cool. 11/10 I love it i watched it with my mom and SHE loves it, very much excited to see more stuff about it.
It's got super cool designs and colors, and I really like the plot!!
BUT, just like everything i like for some reason, it has a very specific downside, and that downside is that I share a name with Mel from the show.

You can't tell but she was kind of inspired by Mitzi Mozzarella. Mostly just in style though.
Her hair was of course inspired by Susie.
She has shoes, but I might change them back to bird feet, and i'll give her more bulk when i draw her again, those will will probably be the only things to change (assuming I do change her feet back to bird feet).
I think she's pretty cute.

Hashem is currently raising money for his family in Gaza. There are 26 people in his group, including himself. 13 of them are children between the ages of 3 to 16. Among these children is Hashem’s neice, Suhaam, who is 9 years old.
Suhaam was injured on October 22, 2023 and had to have surgery on her left arm. Due to the war and repeated displacement, she was not able to receive follow up treatment or rest as needed. Now, her arm has healed badly and she needs a revision surgery. She experiences pain and has trouble moving it. She has trouble holding toys. It is possible she may lose the arm if she does not get this surgery soon.
GoFundMe takes a 2% commission from donations, and the transfer fees to Gaza take another 30% off of that reduced number. In order to pay for his neice’s surgery, Hashem will need to raise $5,920. ($4,700 for the operation and treatment, plus $111 for the GFM commission fee, plus another $1,110 is the price of transferring the amount to Gaza 30% for the transfer fee.)
A large portion of the current GFM funds (about £6,000, give or take) were used to pay for two replacement tents after the three they were living in were destroyed by shrapnel in an attack, a bed and mattress for Suhaam, and daily living expenses. (I have tracked those expenses here, but the links are broken because tumblr terminated Hashem’s old blog.) As such, the GFM must reach £11,000 for Suhaam to get her surgery.
Hashem is a good friend and we have been chatting almost daily (when he has internet) for months now. There isn’t much I can do for him except to make his voice louder. Please share this post and donate if you are able! Tagging for reach below!

I'm only saying this for your sake, but objectively, it's not a smart idea to bring politics into normal hobbies. You might lose supporters of your blog just because of your political stance, and that would be terrible since you're so amazing!! It's only a suggestion, but I really reccomend not bringing politics into anything.
My Journey to Escape the War in Gaza
My name is Abdelmajed. I never imagined I’d be sharing my story like this, but life in Gaza has become unbearable. I am a survivor of the war here, and in the blink of an eye, everything I once knew—my home, my safety, my community—was ripped away from me.
The war has transformed Gaza into a graveyard of broken dreams. The buildings that once stood as symbols of life and resilience are now piles of rubble. Every corner is filled with the echoes of explosions. Every moment is shrouded in uncertainty. There is no security. There is no stability. There is no light at the end of the tunnel.
Basic needs have become luxuries. Food is scarce. Clean water is even scarcer. Hospitals are overwhelmed and under-resourced, and there is almost no medical care to be found. Every night, families go to bed hungry, praying they’ll wake up to see another day. The cost of basic necessities has skyrocketed, and it’s become a daily battle just to survive.
I’ve seen things I never thought possible—standing in long lines for a piece of bread, rationing every drop of water, and watching my people suffer in silence. I have lost everything—my home, my safety, my dignity.
Escape from Gaza is my only hope, but it’s almost impossible without financial help. The cost of evacuation is far beyond my means, and without support, I’m trapped in a warzone with no way out.

Random rant time, I am either awful at finding decent art tutorials, or they just... don't help a lot.
Most of the ones I can find are "how to find your artstyle" tutorials, or "here's a specific thing that works in my artstyle" tutorials, or "here's how to do this thing in realism". None of them help a lot.
Do I wanna know how to draw anatomy? Yeah, but all the tutorials I can find either explain it too little (see that one joke about art tutorials going from a bad sketch to the Mona Lisa), or they explain too much too quickly, and in both cases I get really lost almost immediately.
Idk, maybe this is just a me problem, but I can't find qny decent tutorials that explain what I want to know well enough for me to understand it or be able to follow along with it. At this point I just want a tutorial on how to find decent tutorials lol.

CECOT does NOT let prisoners out. they sleep on metal beds with no padding. their heads are shaved. they are beaten. on google satellite people uncovered a massive red looking puddle outside one of the buildings and the location has since been blurred / made unavailable. they either don’t want to bring kilmar abrego garcia back bc of what he will share from the experience…. or they can’t.
and remember — the SUPREME COURT has ordered at vote of NINE to zero for trump to bring him back and he is refusing.
Anytime I think my art, writing, or video sucks, I just remember the monstrosity that is AI "art" and the people who make it, and I feel a lot better, because at least I'm putting in some effort and not letting a Machine to do it for me.

Movie Golden Freddy spirit rant I made in response to a Strawpage question asking who my favorite character from the FNaF movie is.
Gonna call him Goldie for simplicity and theory neutrality.
He's just. So cool. No offense to how Andrew or Cassidy are characterized (fandom or canon), but he's what TOYSNHK should be in my opinion.
He's undeniably very TOYSNHK-esque and it's amazing. He has this softish(?), more monotone voice that sounds a lot like TOYSNHKS voice (no offense to Andrew I love him, but TOYSNHK does NOT have a rough voice, not even close to it).
He also. Looks like TOYSNHK and acts like TOYSNHK. Do I need to explain this one?
He's also singled out a LOT, maybe just as much as game Golden Freddy, and it makes for some really good theory material.
1 His face is taped onto the picture in the beginning.
2 hes the one to lure Abby out of the office to meet the other animatronics, but she notably doesn't know him, since he isn't present in any of her pictures and she mistakes him for Freddy at first (like a lot of people when they watched the movie somehow).
3 He's the one to talk to Mike (he's not the only one to talk, Freddy spirit says a line to lure Max, but he's mostly the only MCI to talk).
4 he's the only animatronic to leave the pizzeria in the 1st movie.
5 he's the only one to be absent during the final scene where Abby replaces the picture, but he's the ONlY one present in the very final scene where William reaches out to him and he closes the door.
6 he isn't on the truth/murder drawing that Abby draws, instead I think Garrett is on there?? I'm pretty sure he's replaced with a red shirt kid so yk if I'm right about the shirt color then Garrett probably.
7 I probably missed some stuff.
He's got a LOT of theory material. Like for one why does William reach out to him specifically?? I mean he was the only one there, but why even try if he knows the children know what he did? Was it because Goldie was absent during the drawing scene, is it because they know each other (GoldieAfton maybe), is it because he was the only one there????
It's interesting that he's the only one present in the first place, since in the games we know all the MCI were there, and in the novels i'm pretty sure Charlie triggers the springlocks, but I also think some other characters were present?? Idk don't quote me on that.
Also why does he talk specifically?? Is he really under Williams control, or is he doing all of this because he knows it'll get William killed?? SO MANY QUESTIONS AND SO LITTLE ANSWERS.
My second favorite is definitely Vanessa though, because she's so similar to Elizabeth (while still being her own interesting character), but people actually acknowledge William majorly hurt her, while people still insist on calling Elizabeth a spoiled brat.
We'll have to see how the next 2 movies treat these two, ive got high hopes because I loved the first movie a LOT, but also FNaF has a tendency to massively damage my favorites by the 2nd installation in a trilogy (*cough* Novels Charlie *cough*), so we'll see.
If they do massively damage them I WILL rewrite the movies to fix them, but i have very high hopes that they won't since they treated them pretty good in the first movie.
"Aww how cute, William and Mrs.Afton were friends as kids!!" And then William kills their kids and ruins everyone's lives for the immortal or the silly or something idk.
