AITA for creating a robot of my baby brother?

I (19M) am a Cambridge graduate with a masters and PhD in robotics. I often struggle to find ways to stay entertained, so I recently decided to do so by creating a life-size, hyperrealistic robot of my little brother (17M). I installed it with verrry basic AI and voice recognition to allow it to follow my verbal orders and several defensive mechanisms to make it difficult to beat, then sent it to my brother's school and challenged him to stop it from causing a disturbance in his image.

I thought this would be a fun and engaging challenge for my brother, who is a genius with clinical depression, as well as a much needed bonding activity between us, as until recently we hadn't interacted in four years. However, he disagrees, telling me that creating the robot was "obsessive behaviour" and that I "creeped him out".

I don't understand what the big deal is. He knows I wouldn't actually have made the robot do anything that would damage his reputation, so I personally think that he is overreacting. However, he's now refusing to talk to me again, so I am unsure.

What do you guys think. Am I the asshole?

Leave it to DesertDuo to be the ones to make the best possible metaphor for their relationship. Bread Bridge. Their relationship isn’t love or hate or whatever else you want to call it, it’s that stupid fucking bridge.

Every time they meet, it’s the same song and dance, they try and build bridges, to connect to what they had back in that goddamned desert (and isn’t is ironic that there is one on this map, just out of reach?) yet even back then they were still the same. Yes they try and build bridges, but it never ends in any way other than violence.

Literally the first major DesertDuo moment, Grian tries to have fun with his friends and throw a little prank and what happened? Scar dies.

End of third life, Scar tries to apologize to Grian and repent for the betrayal he caused and how does it end? Scar dead in the sand and Grian not far behind.

Last life? Scar tried to befriend Grian immediately and he goes along with it, only for Grian to literally steal his life and run away.

And don’t get me started on Double Life. Souls so intertwined yet somehow the dynamic barely shifts. Every single one of their deaths occurred while trying to help the other did it not?

And here we are, on the fourth rendition of this hellscape and Grian is building a bridge to Scar. Do you think he saw it and had hope? That maybe they could be allys again? (There’s a way we can still be friends Mumbo)

Do you think there was any suprise when that bridge is basically what killed him?
