Some rough designs for my II/dnd au!! Mainly my knifecase fic I'm working on right noww + some old concepts and extras beneath the cut!

Ink drawings of Suitcase and Knife from Inanimate Insanity as Dungeons and Dragons characters. Suitcase is a halfling wearing a flowy, modest dress. She has braids and a gem shard hanging from a chain around her neck. Knife is a dragonborn with dark scales and lots of spiky bits. He wears an open vest and has a couple bladed weapons hanging on a belt. There are smaller corresponding sketches of their object versions, the designs altered to mirror their DnD versions. Written by Knife is "Champion Fighter 5, Barbarian 2," and written by Suitcase is "Circle of Dreams Druid 6, Fathomless Warlock 1."

A sketch page of the main four Bright Lights from Inanimate Insanity as DnD characters. Lightbulb is a Scourge Aasimar wild magic sorcerer. She has the magic initiate feat. Her crab, Baxter, is her familiar. Paintbrush is a Fire Genasi path of wild magic barbarian. Test Tube is a Tiefling artillerist artificer (her horns are curved to mimic the rim of a test tube). Fan is a human wizard/bard, school of abjuration and college of lore.

Candle is a drow elf warlock with white hair that fades into orange and golden markings all over her. Silver is a pale, well dressed high elf bard (and possibly warlock).

There is also a worse quality doodle of Knife as a dragonborn on the side. Artist was a little tipsy when they drew this page.

Knife's design has been through the ringer LMAO I was originally going to go with bloodhunter for him, but I thought he doesn't actually use blades that often despite being a blade, so I switched him over to Fighter. Barbarian also fits him. As you can see, I also changed the silhouette of his dragonborn face to match his canon silhouette ig? I'm still messing around with everyone's designs, but I'll probably leave it sandbox for a while. I think Candle and Suitcase's designs are pretty much solid though
