these nerds would all be in some sort of creative writing club, and it would be amazing
I welcome you to the most inconsistent comic ever made (it's for fun guys, i was not prioritizing quality😔). I am extremely nervous posting this, like my hands are trembling XD (it's cheesy as fuck).
Anyways, enjoy 30 panels of davekat:

I don't know if it's a bit ooc, but it's basically a more peaceful au after they arrive at Earth C, where they end up together and build a happier life 😔.
would u be down to draw some erivris? :O
sureee, here ya go ‘,:D’
I watched Memoir of a Snail yesterday,, i really liked it. It's a very sad and densely dramatic movie, but it's able to encapsulate a very large amount of lessons and themes.
A very notable component is the abundance of death. From the beginning of the story until the end, the dead and dying play an important part of the main character's life. Grace Pudel is a twin, but she spends most of the film extremely, extremely alone.
The climax of the film, where everything is lost, is always an important way to tell what the film is valuing and teaching. In this case, Grace has lost everyone, her parents, her brother, her partner and her best friend. Additionally, she has realised what could make her happy, after all of the tragedy, but has no way to claim the key to her cage.
Grace escapes her cluster of madness thanks to all of the people around her that have loved her. Pinky is there for her when she realises that she caused a big portion of her own misfortune. Her brother, Gilbert, becomes her indefinite companion.
Essentially, Memoir of a Snail is about the curse and cycle of loneliness, the endless downfall of not getting better because you're not okay. It's also about escaping it, and realising the importance of other people. Thirdly, it's about the sadness of being the spectator to your own life, never really living, but existing.
When we cause nothing in the world, not sadness, nor happiness, we can never truly care about anything. At our core, we are proud of what we build. If our magnum opus is a cage, breaking it down will take the most insufferable strife.
i sleep diagonally so i wake up to a dutch angle view of my ceiling symbolising my descent into madness
they are so sibling-core omg
doodles that i made, wanted to draw a back so... helming lol
i think that digital sedation would be cool, like tricking your brain into momentarily believing it's not feeling the actual physical sensations that our bodies intakes (basically, cocomelon on a huger scale)
i really liked this take on the light aspect too, idk what proper tumblr etiquette is (ive been here for like a month) so i’m just going to tag them lol @amberiight
I don’t know about other people, but i’ve always seen the light aspect interpreted as the aspect of knowledge. I thought it made enough sense, Rose is a know it all that sees the future and Vriska… should have been able to make people unknowledgeable or something.
But, it makes so much more sense for light to be the aspect of luck, especially taking into account the new hsbc upd8s.
A common theme recently is the fact that Rose gets the future wrong. That implies either the malfunction of her powers, or the fact that she doesn’t see the future plain and simple, but the most probable path.
Again, idk if this was already commonly accepted or not, but it made me think (i don’t really remember a lot of homestuck, and i never even finished the main thing).
Vriska has always been more tied to luck than knowledge, and with the ability to steal the luck from other people, it’s so much more feasable for her to defy Rose’s predictions.
The fact that Rose’s seer powers are luck-based also makes the seer class more appealing. Since before, one could assume that the only thing they did was see the future, as that’s what Rose and Terezi both seemed to be doing.
I think the characters inside the comic itself don’t know what Rose’s classpect entails, except for maybe Rose herself. We all thought that she knew what was going to happen in [S] br8k, all the other characters probably thought so too, but she didn’t know, she was placing a bet against herself, and making it come to fruition.
Thief of light is a really cool conceot once you get that, Vriska steals bets, she doesn’t manipulate them, not directly, but her very existance contradicts the hopes and wishes for luck, for just this one thing to happen.
Anyways, these are just random thoughts about classpecting, i’d love to give my interpretation of classpects that we don’t see in the comic. I’m also excited to see what classpects the new gen of kids will have (omega kids? delta? idk).
some adorable doodles guys😍😍😍
