more erasermic! also it’s my firm belief that eraser and mic are popnmusic masters (mics a little better, DJ hands!) and should have their characters in the game cool thanks.
a black woman named zoe amira posted a video on youtube. this video is an hour long and filled with art and music from black creators. it has a ton of ads, and in result will rack up a ton of revenue. 100% of the ad revenue from the video will be dispersed between various blm organizations, including bail-out funds for protesters. it will be split between the following, dependent on necessity
brooklyn bail fund
minnesota freedom fund
atlanta action network
columbus freedom fund
louisville community bail fund
chicago bond
black visions collective
richmond community bail fund
the bail project inc
nw com bail fund
philadelphia bail fund
the korchhinski-parquet family gofundme
george floyd’s family gofundme

turn off your adblocker and put the video on repeat. do not skip ads. between each time watch 3-5 other videos (mix it up) before restarting. this will ensure you aren’t marked as spam by youtube. mute the tab if you need to focus elsewhere but don’t mute the video itself. and let. it. play.
youtube will donate to blm for you.
this is my apology to the mods for all the stepchickens videos I submitted
oh come on
yawara is not a joke, he is a trans man capable of wearing cutesy feminine stuff and not be ashamed of it. he is a proud member of the wild wild pussycats. do all transmasc characters have to be very manly for them not to be a joke or what?
magne is a transwoman that doesnt look very feminine. she has stubble and rough features, but regardless of that nobody misgenders her. not even villains. nobody cares if she is feminine or masculine, she is a woman and everyone respects that. hell her friends are even sad when she died. her being a villain is also something not transphobic because surprise! trans people are people, and people can be bad. also why r u saying that she’s dead as if it was because she’s trans? as i said, trans people are people, and people can die. it wasnt even because of transphobic reasons, she died because overhaul is a cunt. (also the lips stereotype isnt only for black people? regardless of that its still stupid. now you cant make a character with big lips?)
trans men dont owe anyone masculinity, trans women dont owe anyone femininity, same thing for trans characters.
god i hate this fandom
do you think horikoshi's level of "not giving a fuck" its high enough for making a canon gay couple? (ships aside)
Horikoshi is at least aware of LGBT rights based on this moment with Magne.
and based on him creating a canon trans character.
Horikoshi is a progressive writer and handles a lot of mature topics better than most shounen authors. He reminds me a little of Togashi, the shounen author of HunterxHunter. Togashi and his wife both support LGBT rights, and Togashi has made a prominent character trans, and there are a lot of characters in HunterxHunter whose sexuality or gender are shrouded in mystery. The reason why I think these two authors are so similar is because both handle sensitive material rather maturely and both have confirmed LGBT characters.
Plus, if Attack on Titan can have a canon gay couple, then Boku no Hero Academia should be able to get away with having a canon gay couple with time. LGBT rights keeps improving in Japan every year, and Boku no Hero Academia still has years to go before concluding. LGBT rights most likely will have lots of support years from now in Japan by the time the series ends. In fact, Japan has improved tremendously with LGBT rights already. The lives of the LGBT community has become better, there are more LGBT characters in Japanese media, the younger generation in Japan is especially supportive of LGBT individuals, and Japanese culture in general has become more LGBT-inclusive. In fact, a group of Japanese politicians just last week have formed a coalition for LGBT rights, and there are news of Japanese corporations becoming more LGBT-inclusive. Being gay in Japan is becoming less taboo everyday.
Hypothetically, let’s say Horikoshi wants to make Bakugou and Kirishima a canon gay couple, but Shounen Jump won’t allow it. If that’s the case, Horikoshi can simply give both Bakugou and Kirishima lots of intimate moments, make them follow a bunch of romance tropes, give them no other love interests, and even have them become life partners by the end of the series, leaving the romance of their relationship up to interpretation. That would be extremely close to having a canon gay couple without explicitly confirming it. Something similar to this happened with the main characters of the JRPG Tales of Zesteria.
I think it’s too easy and too simple to say there can never be a canon gay couple in Boku no Hero Academia just because it’s a shounen. People aren’t taking other factors into account. Horikoshi isn’t your standard shounen author. I’m not saying Horikoshi will create a canon gay couple because I don’t know what the hell he’ll do. I can’t make that kind of claim. I’m just saying it’s definitely possible.

So much this.
pride month starts tomorrow, but don’t let that distract from continuing to protest and donate in support of black lives matter. here are some black lgbt funds to donate to if you are able:
center for black equity
homeless black trans woman fund
miss major’s monthly fundraising circle
pay black trans women
marsha p johnson institute
google doc full of organizations and funds
also, i know many pride events have been cancelled due to covid-19, but if you are going in public to protest or to another event, please be careful and wear a mask. covid is still going on through all this
