i love more women appreciating grey hair because i've always found it so beautiful and seeing older women around me talk about it with fear and anxiety, discussing how they'd dye it, seeing media where the second a woman gets a grey hair they'd shamefully pluck it or dye it away, like it was something literally immutably horrifying happening to their bodies. really made me sad as a child to see, but i love seeing more and more women embrace it and hate having to hide natural changes to their bodies, especially when it's something so lovely.

I am a shark defender not in the sense or “they’re puppies 🥺” but in the sense of “these are literal apex predators that are in their home. we know that’s their home, they do not intentionally eat humans bc we are not their natural prey and they’d never attack us if we never went into their habitat. that’s always the risk we take if we go too far out into the ocean and we shouldn’t demonise sharks any more than we should demonise a tiger that mauled some idiot who thought climbing into their enclosure at the zoo would be a good idea. they’re doing what is natural to them and it’s generally pretty easy to just stay tf away from them”

It sucks walking through day-to-day life thinking you’re somewhat decent and then logging on to TUMBLR to see the women you’re infatuated with and immediately feeling as if they’d want literally anyone else. Social media really is a self-esteem killer 😔👌
