Cant wait for pride month when we’ll again have random troll/sockpuppet ace blogs popping up and making obvious outrage worthy posts about being disgusted with gay people showing pda at prides and aphobes will purposely act like all those blogs are legit and use those posts to harass and mock ace people and create fake outrage about how ace people dont belong at prides bc they hate pda and will ignore or block anyone who calls them out on their bullshit lmfao

This is important. Straws make up less than one percent of plastic. They don't even make up .1% of the plastic. If you don't need a straw, great, don't use one, but don't prevent those who need them from using them. Find a bigger problem than straws. Here's an article about it that I found.

A brief history of how plastic straws took over the world

It all started with a mint julep on a hot summer day.

being aware of the impact of things we can often not think about (like straws) is important if we’re to make strides on environmental preservation

that does not eclipse the importance of being aware of how it impacts disabled people. they’re both conversations we need to have

Books!

So, I'm a huge reader and read a ton of books. I have a book that I adore reading and have read more times than I care to admit. The book's name is Eliza and her Monsters, by Francesca Zappia, so I highly recommend whoever happens upon this post reads it.

less “if you see a man and woman together at pride be nice! they could be bi/pan/trans/ace/aro” and more “stop gendering strangers to harass them anywhere, but especially at pride holy shit”

Bringing To Light A Very Important Issue. The Nigerian Government Is Trying To Silence Youths Protesting
Bringing To Light A Very Important Issue. The Nigerian Government Is Trying To Silence Youths Protesting

Bringing to light a very important issue. The Nigerian government is trying to silence youths protesting against the dismissal of a violent police branch called SARS.

They target innocent youths and take forced bribes, search their phones illegally, kill, rape and detain them. Please signal boost and spread awareness.

John Boyega is the only internal celeb bringing awareness to this. This is oppression and it needs to end.

Join the EndSARS tag on Twitter. There are so many painful stories of what people endure under them. They target you if you have a phone, search it illegally and confiscate laptops and electronics without just cause. Last week, they killed an innocent man and stole his car.

PLEASE REBLOG THIS. THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT RESPONDS TO PRESSURE FROM OUTSIDE SO LET THEM SEE THIS PLEASE

Tag everyone you know!

End SARS NOW.
