Species Name: Aquorians

Physical Description:

Aquorians are a fascinating aquatic alien species that have evolved to thrive in the depths of water. They possess a streamlined and sleek body shape, optimized for fluid movement through the aquatic environment. Their bodies are elongated and cylindrical, resembling a cross between an eel and a seahorse.

Their skin is covered in iridescent scales that shimmer in an array of mesmerizing colors, allowing them to blend into their surroundings and communicate with each other through intricate patterns. These scales are also equipped with chromatophores, giving the Aquorians the ability to change the color and pattern of their skin, aiding in camouflage and communication.

Their large, expressive eyes are situated on the sides of their head, providing a wide field of vision to spot potential predators or prey. The eyes possess excellent low-light vision, allowing them to navigate even the darkest depths with ease.

One of the most remarkable features of the Aquorians is their bioluminescence. They have specialized organs on their bodies that emit soft, soothing glows, serving both as a means of communication among their species and as a way to attract prey or mates.

Adaptations for Underwater Living: Aquorians have developed several unique adaptations to thrive in their aquatic environment. Their limbs have evolved into a set of flexible, fin-like appendages, enabling them to maneuver with precision and speed through water. These fins are also used for delicate tasks, such as manipulating objects or grooming their scales.

Their respiratory system has evolved to extract oxygen efficiently from water, and they have gills that allow them to extract dissolved oxygen from the water they inhabit. To maintain buoyancy, Aquorians have developed specialized air sacs within their bodies, which they can adjust to control their position in the water column.

Intelligence and Social Structure:

Aquorians are highly intelligent beings with advanced cognitive abilities. They have complex communication skills, using a combination of body language, bioluminescent displays, and a unique form of underwater vocalizations to convey information and emotions.

Their social structure is intricate and community-oriented. Aquorians live in tightly-knit family groups known as "pods." These pods work together to hunt for food, protect their territory, and care for their young. Their societies are governed by a system of cooperation and mutual respect, with each member playing a vital role in the survival and success of the pod.

The Aquorians' advanced intelligence has also led to the development of simple ools and shelter structures. They use rocks, coral, and other materials from their environment to construct basic shelters and tools for various tasks, displaying a level of resourcefulness and adaptability.

You don't know the suffering and uncertainty that having rare and serious diseases produces. They change your life forever.

It doesn't matter all the effort you put in, all the desire, my illnesses are always there and they can always do more. We have been taught that if you want you can, that effort equals reward. However, in chronic degenerative diseases, the rules are not the same. No matter how much you want, you can't, no matter how much will you put into it, you can't. But one continues to do so, takes fear by the hand... and continues to live. Because you have to live, you have to live until the end. The only thing that is in your power is to learn to manage the fall and get up again and again. And so every day. The path ahead is not easy at all, but thanks to the professionals and people around me, at least I have a path.

Embrace and love a lot, be thankful every day, put pride aside and do everything that comes from your heart. Life is so unpredictable that sometimes it reminds us that our time here is temporary.
