Mute B-127 AU: The Aftermath part 1 (TW: Panic attack, dissociation)

What if B-127 was a little more annoying, and talked a little bit too much? Part 6 of the "Mute B-127 AU", where I made Sentinel rip out Bee's voice box vv

The comic is back, and these parts are going to be called "The Aftermath". The story follows the events of the previous parts, some time after Orion became Optimus and Bee finally woke up from a coma.

Some explanations under the cut:

Optimus reached for Bee's hand because of chronolinguistics (the language performed through physical contact). He wanted to offer Bee a chance to communicate, because he knew Bee couldn't speak in other way.

Bee pulled away, partially because of the panic attack, but also because he didn't quite recognise Optimus (last time he saw him he was still Orion Pax, he still doesn't know what happened after the fight)

Bee's mask stayed on, as his body still doesn't feel safe enough to drop his guard down. Will he ever feel safe enough to drop it? I guess wait and see...

After watching the "Transformers One" movie I felt like Bee didn't get enough attention and drama. So, it was up to me to make him suffer! Yay! Part 1 out of (4?), update in a week!

Good heavens I AM BACK!!! I'm so excited to finally share this comic with you, I've been planning it for such a long time and I'm finally done! I hope I won't get burned out again, because very cool things are coming <3

I've decided to give myself more time for drawing, so the next part is coming out in 10 days - 19th February! Please be patient, I'm just one broke artist lol

Some more notes:

I don't have that much experience with a panic attack. I based it off what I know, and how it'd depicted in other media, so I'm sorry for any inaccuracies. I know touching someone having a panic attack is not always a good idea, I just really wanted to give Bee a hug vv

Ratchet is a canon character that exists in a few other transformers media. As far as I know, he wasn't present in the Transformers One movie, but I really wanted to include him in my comic (I consider him Another Dad of Bee). I took the design from the IDW Lost Light comic series, as it's the design I like the most!

Another thing, in case you're wondering - why didn't Bee flinch away from Ratchet when he touched him, but he did with OP? Optimus reached to him very suddenly, when Bee was still figuring out what just happened. Bee also didn't quite recognise him - as he looked different from Orion Pax he knew. I like to think Bee had a few meetings with Ratchet before, and that's why it was now a figure he trusted and recognised. Ratchet was also way more gentle, OP basically grabbed Bee's hand away from his chest, being excited to see him - and despite Ratchet's previous warnings.

Part 9 of the "Mute B-127 AU" comic series! I wasn't sure if a trigger warning was needed, but I figured better safe than sorry.

And finally, the update is done! It always takes me longer than I assume, thank you so much for your patience <3 The next one is going to have to be in some while, I have a friend visiting so I won't be drawing for a few days. Expect it somewhen at the end of the month.

Notes:

So, I am not sure if it's possible for a Transformer to NOT know chirolinguistics, but in this AU it's a skill you can learn. And Elita never bothered to do it. Ratchet would know it, to communicate with patients, and I think Orion and D-16 would just learn it for fun, to talk to each other :3

I struggled a lot with the wound on Bee's face. Firstly, I needed to make it look treated, and on the Transformers case I figured it would be something like welding together pieces of metal. Secondly, I used a human skull reference - and obviously that may not be accurate for Transformers. This is just the best I could do!

And about Elita's reaction - she was already shocked about Bee's voice, seeing him now, like this, also added to confusion, and guilt, and it was all too much for her. She run, to probably destroy something. Because... how can she face Bee? Why would he even want to see her? She doesn't consider herself his friend, not after what happened- and how she couldn't prevent it.

Another redraw! I've been wanting to draw Soundwave for a while, I intended to make it into another print but I run out of time. I might still do it in the future ^^ The first drawing (under the cut) is from exactly 2 years ago! I can see the progress, but I still have much to learn. I know what I want my art to look like, I just don't always know how to make it happen. I'll keep on trying! < 3

Pretty much no different from canon except that Bee wasn't there originally and they found the beacon by accidentally dropping Steve's head from a pile of trash (well, also because that place was supposed to be OP and D grave).
