Last night, 🌧️ as heavy rain poured and fierce winds howled, 🌬️ and darkness cloaked the world like a heavy curtain, 🌌 my children found a small cat by the door of our tent. 🐾 It looked at them with frightened eyes, 😟 seeking the warmth of their little bodies and the safety of their embrace. 🤲 Without hesitation, they gently carried it, ❤️ brought it into their tattered bed, 🛏️ and fed it and gave it water from the little they had. 🍞💧

The cat slept peacefully among them, 😴 unaware that it had chosen a cold refuge, ❄️ surrounded by shivering little bodies. 🥶 It didn’t know that those who made it feel safe were themselves terrified by the roar of airplanes ✈️ and the relentless sounds of bombing. 💥

In a world of war, where the hearts of grown-ups shrink under the weight of pain, 💔 the hearts of children remain vast. 💞 Their hearts are tender, while the war is harsh... unbearably harsh. 😔

The war in Gaza has become even heavier 🍉😞. The days don’t pass, and the nights are long 🌌. Here, the night carries many stories ❤️‍🩹. Children sleep hungry with empty stomachs and frozen limbs 🧤 from the cold 🌧️, their little hearts trembling with fear 😣 from the relentless sound of explosions 💥.
