Fanart heroine in otome game (anime)
M
Spoiler free above the cut.
Koichi’s view of the world is so utterly warped–and if you had a hard time understanding that before, seeing it through his eyes might help enlighten you. It’s not just his views on marriage that are “different,” it’s his entire worldview that is so horribly skewed.
As usual, the pacing isn’t the best–some parts feel a little rushed, especially since his main route is the longest (of the PoVs that have been released) and yet his point of view for it is crammed into 6 chapters. But that doesn’t mean it’s not worth playing.
I recommend this to people who are Koichi fans already, or who want to try to understand him better. If you really don’t like this character, you probably won’t like this route.
Imagine being raised as the only child in a household where your father openly cheats on your mother. At first you feel angry and betrayed because you’re forced to idly watch one of the people you love the most suffering at the hands of one of the people that is supposed to love them the most. What’s worse is that no one ever talks about it, it’s the elephant in the room that no one will acknowledge.
Eventually you bottle up those feelings because after years, you have come to accept that this is normal. Marriage is just a social contract of convenience. It’s a partnership for mutual benefit, but it doesn’t have anything to do with love. After all, you’ve never seen a marriage with love in it because the only one you have been exposed to is your parents’ marriage.
“She must have been raised in a caring environment.” This is one of the first things Koichi comments on when he meets MC and subsequently decides to marry her. It’s almost spoken like a monotone observation, and yet it’s the fundamental basis for the misunderstandings between them.

*The screencaps are out of order. I just wanted to compare the boys’ grown up and high school selves. Ishigami and Goto look exactly the same…*
Anyway, here’s the summary of the high school event story which got quite long again…
At the start of the story, you were out late the night before with friends, so you’re quite tired. Now you’re out shopping but you keep running into Noir members, namely Ryoichi, Ishigami, Goto and Ren. Shields and Noir are now on friendly terms but you’re still uncomfortable with dealing with them on your own, so you avoid them before they notice you.
You get home and find a letter inviting you to your high school reunion. Then you realize that you’re late, so you stuff the letter in your bag and hurry off to Shields headquarters.
Later, you’re in the canteen at Shields, feeling extremely tired and you can’t stop yawning. You take out the letter for another look. Yamato comes over, concerned by how tired you look. You explain why and also tell him about your upcoming high school reunion. He leaves after a while. You wonder what the Shields and Noir members were like in high school and you fall asleep with that thought…
You wake up and you’re back in senior high! It’s the first day of school and Yamato is your new classmate. He’s also really popular with both the guys and girls in your class. Anyway, you have to stay after school one day to fill in the class diary. Yamato finds you sitting alone in the classroom and comes to see what you’re doing. He remarks that you have beautiful handwriting and he stays back with you to help you complete the diary. Then he leaves saying he’ll see you tomorrow. Your heart goes doki doki~♡
Now you’re on the train on your way home. The train suddenly stops and you lose your balance, luckily someone catches you. You soon find yourself face-to-face with a beautiful prince-like boy, Ren~♡ You are struck by his beauty and can’t help staring at him. He asks what’s wrong. You say he has beautiful eyes, so he steps closer for you to have a better look at his eyes!! So here you are completely entranced by his lovely ‘gleaming, jewel-like’ green eyes~ Then he steps back, blushing, because you’ve been staring into his eyes for too long~ :3c Then it’s time for him to get off. You ask for his name. He tells you and you find out he’s still in junior high. He calls you ‘senpai’ and says he’ll see you tomorrow. You really hope you’ll get to see him on the train again~
Several months pass, you are a member of the student council. Ishigami is the student council president. You want to speak to him after school but before you can, he’s been called away by a teacher. You look out the window and see your classmate, Goto. You’re rather scared of him as he has a reputation for being a delinquent, but you’re curious as to what he’s doing so you go outside for a look. You find him smiling and playing with a kitten! You decide there and then that anyone who likes small animals can’t be a bad person. You call him. He is very surprised to see you. You notice that his hand is injured and insist on taking him to the sick room. He lets you. Goto explains that he got hurt protecting the kitten from a group of older boys who were bullying it. You tell Goto that you think he’s a very gentle person. He is once again surprised. He soon leaves after his injuries are dealt with. You kind of find yourself attracted to Goto…
More time passes, it’s graduation time. Ishigami is graduating and everyone is sad as he was the perfect student council president. You want to go over to speak to him but you trip in typical otome heroine fashion… Ishigami helps you up with cherry blossom petals blowing all around him! XD;; He then says something like how he hopes you’ll take good care of the student council after he leaves.
It’s a new school year and now it’s time for the annual culture festival. This year it’s a joint festival with another school. You meet the charismatic president of the other school, Ryoichi. All the girls in your school are swept off their feet by him! XD
(Edit: Forgot this part!) That Sunday, you’re doing your homework at the library when Ryoichi suddenly comes over to sit opposite you. You feel rather nervous about being so close to him. He then remarks that your homework answer is wrong. After that, he helps you with your homework. When he leaves with a casual ‘see you’, you can’t help but begin to feel quite attracted to him.
The festival is a success. Ryoichi asks you to meet him on the school roof, then suddenly it’s love confession time! He takes your hand and comes closer and closer…
…you hear a voice calling you! You wake up and find yourself back in the canteen at Shields headquarters. Yamato is calling you. You kind of accidentally call him ‘Kougami-kun’ instead of ‘Yamato-san’ which confuses him. You find out that you’re still clutching the high school reunion invitation and wonder if that’s why you had that dream. You also wonder if it’s been influenced by all the shoujo manga you’ve read. Anyway, you think it was a very wonderful dream~♡ End.
Shadows House
What if a Shadow and a Living Doll were in a relationship? What kind of difficulties would they have to face? What quirks would their relationship have? Is it even possible? Certainly, Patrick and Emilyko could care less.
...or I'm just a sucker for this dynamic.
Soooo, like in most fandoms I'm multishipper, and this one's is one of my favorites ships!! There's very little content for them so I wanna contribute!🥰 Patrick is a major asshole in the first chapters but then he meets Emilyko 😩💖
Bad Boy/Spoiled Brat becomes sensitive and sweet is top tier prompt 😔👌✨
Go read the manga, it is 🌈colored 🌈
Shaun x Emilyko
John x Kate
Ricky x Lou
Benjamin x Louise
Oliver/Ollie x Anna/Nancy
Maryrose x Rosemary (I mean, they are pretty obvious imo)

Exactly!
“If you get bored, come out to the hallway and wave to the camera for me. You won’t see me, but I’ll wave to you too. Remember that you’re never alone.”
