considering that she's already sa'd yall and is planning to do it again to asa, i think it's crazy that he even said that to her. and even if he didn't know it was yoru during 167 every devil he's ever encountered has done him wrong in some way, including power and excluding beam. the only justification is that denji himself is capable of becoming friends with devils, but he's literally part devil. it makes sense he would say it in that context but it really does not apply to asa in the slightest
