Do you remember School for vampires??
Toto first saw Rona in court, during his internship. He couldn't help but be fascinated by him - so confident and handsome, arguing with the judge and the prosecutor, seemingly unafraid of anything. Toto had always lacked this - confidence in his own words, even if he knew they were all true and he had evidence. That's why he saw in Ron the missing part of himself. After finishing his studies, he didn't even ask himself where he wanted to go. The choice was obvious. Toto dreamed of working with Ron, he was ready to do any dirty work, just to be useful to the man who in his eyes was the ideal of a lawyer's work.
However, his rose-colored glasses quickly fell off, shattering into pieces, when on the very first day in the office, on the door of which there was a sign with the beautiful name "Ron Kamonohashi", he was met not by a stately brunette, with beautifully combed hair and a straight back, but by a misunderstanding that hardly resembled a person. Toto was horrified when he realized that this was the same person who made him a couple of years ago convinced himself of the correctness of his choice of profession.
Despite the fact that Ron initially did not recognize him and almost threw him out of his office because he did not need assistants, Toto suddenly turned out to be useful when he immediately found an important detail in the papers Ron had dug through a thousand times, which instantly changed the tactics of his client's defense in court. And it was wonderful.
They complemented each other perfectly. Toto could always find the necessary details that Ron put together. It was surprising how easily they got along after some time. And even though Toto now had to be both a lawyer's assistant and a psychological support point for Ron's clients (who left his consultation with at least a twitching eye), he was sincerely happy with this cooperation.
After all, at least in court he could still see his neatly combed hair...
In court, Toto quickly became a respected figure when everyone around him realized that he was the only one who could shut Ron up. And although Toto often spoke out loud without realizing it, sometimes even things that definitely shouldn't have been said, he was the one who knew when Ron should stop talking so as not to get into trouble.
And after this, this bastard complains that the documents are not ready for court... for those who are waiting for the continuation of my old money au: I will definitely try to finish the next part soon, the upcoming exams are taking too much energy((
I'm crucified, crucified like my Savior
Saint-like behavior a lifetime I prayed
I'm crucified for the holy dimension
Godlike ascension heavens away
I swear they're gonna be the death of me. I also have to say i love the concept of Toto as a motherly support figure for Ron
"Stay, you're the only person I need, so stay."
it's been fourteen years but i still think of sherlock whenever i'm fumbling to plug my charger into my phone
Part 6!
When they return from vacation, they have to go back to work. Ron doesn't mind it much, after all, it only gets him closer to his goal, while Toto feels a vague anxiety.
They work together again on another issue of the magazine, taking photos for the cover and recording interviews. Toto knows full well that this issue will bring him profit, but anxiety still eats away at him from the inside.
However, after finishing their joint work, they do not see each other for some time. In addition to the main magazine, Toto's publishing house is busy releasing a lot of third-party products, the preparation and approval of the layouts of which takes a lot of effort and requires his presence at work. Ron, on the other hand, is busy with family problems.
Thus, an entire week passes, which feels like an eternity. Separated from each other, their days turn into a monotonous gray mess. Toto's office is too quiet and empty without the overly active Ron. Ron's office smells damp again, and the kuromitsu does not bring a drop of joy.
Finally meeting, they feel joy as from the very first meeting. They do not have enough time, nor air in their lungs to tell absolutely everything that has accumulated over this week. Suddenly it turns out that the whole night is not enough to stop so desperately reaching for a kiss on the lips opposite.
These turn out to be the most calm and carefree days in their lives, because when the issue of the magazine with Ron comes out, the publishing house, under the auspices of the M family, does not stand aside. Now they openly enter this war.
For Toto, photography was a true passion. He was incredibly inspired by the idea of leaving in eternity that fleeting moment that seemed never to be repeated. He looked around at the world and wanted others to see the world through his eyes.
But despite all his love for his occupation, he couldn't turn his hobby into his main job. He had to get by with constant part-time jobs, after which he had less and less time for photography.
And so it went on until, completely by chance, he drew his lucky ticket.
Toto never photographed people. To him, any photo sessions seemed artificial, unnatural and alienating, and his conscience did not allow him to photograph people on the sly on the street. Only once, completely by chance, while photographing the buildings around him, a young man relaxing in a cafe got into the lens of his camera. Everything in his pose, in his face, in his measured and confident gestures fascinated Toto. It was as if he was created to be in the lens of a camera, his whole being spoke of it.
It was only when he looked up from his own camera that Toto noticed that this handsome stranger was looking straight at him. There was something simple but mesmerizing in his gaze. Toto had no choice but to walk towards him.
He apologized for accidentally disturbing his rest and asked if he could take a few more photos. To his great surprise, the stranger waved his hand with absolute calm and allowed it. There was a slight smile on his lips all this time.
Toto was absolutely fascinated by how easy and simple the stranger felt while he was photographing him. He looked completely casually, not at all embarrassed by all the attention. It was as if he knew exactly what part of himself he needed to show.
And when he asked to meet again, Toto had no reason to refuse him. That's how he met Ron.
They meet over and over again. Toto cannot resist his desire to take as many photos with Ron as possible, because he sees the ideal in this. He always fits perfectly into the frame, the light falls on him perfectly, and even his untidy tousled hair seems perfect to Toto. Ron never refuses, fulfilling Toto's every whim.
Each meeting ends with long conversations about everything. It's as if Toto has found his soulmate, although they are absolute opposites. But how else can he describe this feeling, similar to the smell of home and hot coffee in the morning? Ron is like cold sheets smelling of powder, which are so nice to wrap yourself in.
Ron, as he later learns, also takes a couple of photos of him when Toto himself is not looking. He says he likes how peaceful Toto looks when he's sleeping or talking passionately, even though his face can't be seen, his whole body relaxes and it looks great.
At one of the meetings, Toto plucks up the courage to ask if he can post the photos they took on his social media. Ron agrees, although he hides a sly smile in a cup of tea.
This is how Toto finds out that all this time he has been working with a world-famous model who has not appeared on a magazine cover for several years. This news shocks him so much that he does not pay attention to the success that these photos bring him.
When he asks Ron why he has never told him who he really is, he just waves it off. “I didn’t mean to embarrass you,” he says, but that only makes Toto feel like an even bigger idiot. Of course, now it makes sense why Ron acted so confidently while working.
But in the end, Ron reveals his true motives. He says he kept quiet only because as long as Toto treated him like a regular guy on the street, there was no awkwardness between them. As long as they both simply enjoyed working with each other, he too felt the same passion as Toto, after he had quit a job five years earlier that brought him no pleasure.
Ron calls him his muse. Because for him, Toto becomes the one who reminds him of why he devoted most of his life to this work, why he once liked it so much.
And while he knows that Toto's eyes are watching him closely on the other side of the lens, he finally feels alive.
no one knows the trouble, honey that we’ve been through.
