Advice of the day: if your man starts dressing up like this be careful
“I will tell you one, to get you in the mood. A bunny rabbit and a chick went frolicking in the grass together on a sunny day.”
“A chick… baby chicken?” Kaladin said. “And a what?”
“Ah, forgot myself for a moment,” Wit said. “Sorry. Let me make it more appropriate for you. A piece of wet slime and a disgusting crab thing with seventeen legs slunk across the rocks together on an insufferably rainy day. Is that better?”

“Your son is a soldier, Lirin. A soldier who inherited his father’s determination, skill, and compassion. You tell me honestly. Who would you rather have out there fighting? Some crazed killer who enjoys it, or the boy you trained to care?”
(Rhythm of War)
He had promised to help Azir. But why? Because his mother had trained him to care. As Dalinar had worked to make Adolin into a weapon, Evi had worked to make Adolin into one that had meaning.
(Wind and Truth)
I loved how those two passages rhymed. Kaladin and Adolin - the boys that care. I love them so much.
Alternate eye colour for Kaladin, and alternative state of awakening for Adolin's armour. 😂
when my parents' cats are nice to me: "aww it's because they smell your cat"
when my parents' cats are mean to me: "ah, it's because they smell your cat"
honestly they're probably right tho
I have inadvertently created the perfect storm. I teach high school math, including a statistics course where students are currently learning to collect and display data. I also run a mini cosmere library out of my desk for my young nerds.
This has led to grading student-made surveys during lunch only to be jumpscared by these responses.

I've been laughing at this way too much today. Whoever made this I LOVE YOU.
