Fandom Problem #5941:

People who ship things that are ‘practically canon’ are some of the most annoying, entitled members of a fandom. They constantly flip-flop between “we're better than you because it's canon” and “we’re the underdogs because the writers/other fans are too homophobic/sexist/etc. to acknowledge our ship.”

A) Even if it were canon (it’s not), that has never, and will never stop anyone from shipping something else. B) Theirs is the most popular ship for both characters by a large margin, they get new fics and art every single day. Get outta here with the ‘underdog’ mentality. C) People are gonna like what they like, including seeing your faves as just friends and shipping them with other characters they find more compatible.

Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️ My favourite characters from Hataraku Saibou BLACK in a very quite moment between Chapter 10 and 11, and I thought of this scene: the beautiful U-1196 presenting a chocolate box to AA2153, but initially hiding it behing her back… Because “Valentine’s Day in countries which observe White Day is typically observed by girls and women presenting chocolate gifts (either store-bought or handmade), usually to boys or men, as an expression of love, courtesy, or social obligation. On White Day, the reverse happens” (from Wikipedia)… maybe I’ll draw something for White Day too, who knows. Fangirl power! :3
