ੈ♡˳·˖✶ — YUTA x FEM READER
You’ve been trying to get a boyfriend to get over your one sided crush, but being known as Yuta’s girl across campus is a major cockblock for your romantic endeavours. The worst part? You’re not even dating.

This is the fifth boy that’s turned you down so far. You’re starting to wonder if something’s wrong with you.
As with all of your woes, it ends with you at Yuta’s apartment. Is it pathetic to be comforted for your failed attempts at flirting by the boy you’re in love with? Very. Do you trust anyone else but Yuta not to make fun of you? No.
“Yuta,” you whine into his stomach. He’s sitting on the couch with his legs tucked neatly together to form a cushion for your head. “Am I ugly?”
He drops his controller instantly, muttering a quick sorry to Inumaki who’s suddenly left single handedly defending their team against the enslaught of monsters. “Why would you say that?”
He pinches your cheeks between two fingers, squishing your face until your lips form an ‘o’. “You’re the prettiest girl in the world! Anyone would be lucky to have you.”
Clearly not, or Yuta would have you. He’s just saying that because he has to. He’s your best friend.

Guest Speaker
pairing: Sugawara x reader
Sugawara needed to get a guest speaker in his classroom quick. The kids were unmotivated and nothing he said helped anymore. They must’ve been sick and tired of listening to him, he thought.
“What about that writer from our year? Ya know the one who’s books you preorder and go to every signing event for. You should ask them,” Daichi suggests.
Suga refuses at first, insisting that you’d never agree to this. After some convincing he figures there’s no harm in asking.
You see his email first praising your work and second begging you to be a speaker in his class. He explains all the reasons the children would benefit from your presence. You send an email saying of course you’d love to come to his class.
You arrive early to the classroom to chat with Sugawara about his class and what he wants you to do exactly.
“I can do a reading of chapter from my lastest novel. I also have a small writing exercise that should be fun for them and then they can read them out loud to each other if they want.”
“That is perfect!”
As the kids arrive they’re asking tons of questions about who you are. “Is that Sugawara Sensei’s lover?”
You laugh but Suga is blushing lightly. He introduces you to the class the instant all of the kids are in their seats to avoid further mishaps.
You sit down on a stool on the rug in the center of the classroom and open your latest novel to the first chapter. You start to read in a slow melodic voice entrancing the attention of both the students and a certain teacher.
After your reading, you give out the instructions for the writing activity and then give the students some time to work on their craft. You put on soothing instrumental music to create a nice atmosphere for them. You encourage Suga to participate too. Kids volunteer to read their work and both you and Suga are impressed.
“Maybe your sensei will want to share what he wrote too,” you nudge him to do so. Reluctantly he sits on the stool and finds himself nervous in front of his class for the first time. His students snap afterwards as if they were listening to poetry.
“Very romantic and poetic. I liked it” you compliment him. A few more students get the courage to read their pieces out loud and as quickly as it started, the school day is over.
“This was a huge success! Thank you so much. It’s like the light is back in their eyes,” Sugawara explains.
As you help him clean up the classroom, which he insists you didn’t need to do, you tell him “we get stuck in routine sometimes and it can weigh down on us. Trying new things like this today was so beneficial for them.”
“Ya know I think I need to do the same…”, you raise your eyebrow at his words, “would you like to go on a date with me?” he asks.
You nod and he stares at you for a moment, seemingly in shock. You laugh and ask him when he wants to go on a date. “…Tonight?” he answers in a question.
Confiding in him, you admit “I actually used to have such a huge crush on you back in high school.”
“Mine never went away,” he quietly says with a smile.
