HOW TO: WRIST CUFFS DIY

Step 1: Old Jeans Waistband

- Cut off waistband from rest of pants

Step 2: Cut to Wrist Size (X2)

- measure around your wrist and cut

Step 3: Add Closure

-button + buttonhole or safety pin + soda tab works best imo

- Sew down soda tab to one side, safety pin to other

Step 4: Add Hardware

- good options are spikes, more safety pins, more soda tabs, staples, chains, and whatever else you can find

Step 5: SHOW OFF!!!!

"Therian Music"

Sometimes I think about making a playlist that helps me connect more to my kintypes. This has lead me to fall down the rabbithole of "therian music," music made specifically with therianthropy in mind.

There aren't that many examples, but what there is is often very... On the nose. Injecting literal meanings into songs is nothing new, but I often find it hard to enjoy songs artistically when they're like that.

I've also found that a lot of the songs that talk about therianthropy are in the same genre. "Indie." Which is fine, it's a very accessible and trendy genre.

I know the demographic of people who strongly connect therianthropy to their identity aren't usually the type, but it'd be cool to hear songs in different genres. Therian Metal? Theriopunk? Jazz? New wave? I know there are therians out there who make music, but their music isn't always about being a therian. Imagine the artistic potential in writing a typical Green Day-esque pop punk song about being a therian. It's possible!

Now what's stopping me... I guess nothing. I'm a musician. I understand music. I can play a lot of instruments. DAWs are accessible nowadays. Eh. I guess it just comes down to my lack of time or motivation.

UPDATE about the AU's,, remember when I had said 'Turbo centric'?,, I wanted to clear something up because it came back to me and I keep forgetting it: there is three AUs, two are from Turbo's POV, and one is either gonna be from Ralph's or the twins POV and Turbo isn't *really* gonna be a main character outside of like,, mentions and being briefly interacted with [don't quote me on that if I change this l8tr down the line],,But I just wanted to clear that up. A bigger post [and shortly after, more individualized posts] about the AUs will be up hopefully soon,, though life's been a bit uhh,, hard to handle as of l8t, I'll do my best to get those out soon, trust 🙏 -Turbo

They actually make physical media for a much larger percentage of movies than they ever did in the past. Often with a lot more care than any small release was treated in the early dvd days. Its just if you only watch streaming stuff or the big new recent box office hits you won't see that. It is so ridiculously easy to get physical media for movies that even 5 years ago you couldn't even find. Like yes Netflix is a stingy bastard but so many things are available on disc WITH special features than ever before

So, you know that insecurity virus that was unleashed then forgotten about in Ralph Breaks the Internet?

What if…. After the events of the second movie, Turbo somehow survives and now hides out in the internet. He’s (sort of) calmed down, maybe became an IT guy of some sort. Joined by the Turbo twins, who also managed to escape Turbo-Time before it was shut down.

As they do more jobs, the more dangerous and visceral the jobs become… Until they find a hideous being, feeding off of all the insecurity that festers in the internet!

And they three have to stop it! Making Turbo go through an official character arc.
