Quidditch Headcanon

So I’ve seen a few headcanons where someone yells out, “Knock on wood,” before a match and everyone whacks Oliver with their brooms

Whilst this very much amuses me, in Britain (or at least England) it’s more common to say ‘touch wood’

So I instead believe that they all yell this out and then either:

Pat his head in a really patronising manner

All solemnly put their hands on his shoulder whilst he looks beyond bewildered

Or  they all (lightly) slap him as quickly as they can

Concept: an RPG side quest where a couple of villagers ask you to help sort out their marital problems, and actual solution is to sit their asses down for a counseling session and talk about how they’ve reached a point in their lives that each of them independently arrived at the conclusion that asking a heavily armed stranger they’ve just met to secretly mess with their spouse was a reasonable way to approach their relationship.
