I would just like to point out that one time in into the spiderverse after the rest of the spiders left miles room and they were swinging away
They weren’t swinging from like tall buildings or nothing it was just open sky and they were swinging from the heckin moon or clouds or somethin
Concept: a video game set in a mist-shrouded small town next to a poorly maintained highway in the middle of a deep, dark forest, abandoned mine just down the road, the whole nine yards, with a robust creature creator that lets you develop your own bespoke cryptid… and that’s it. It’s basically a cryptid walking simulator – there are no specific goals. You can terrorise the townsfolk a bit if you want, but mostly you just lurk. There’s a social mode where you can set up a server and invite a bunch of your friends to your town to be cryptids and lurk together.
there’s a chinese exchange student in my composition class and we were being presented something about how you can use brackets to signify translation and there was chinese text on the screen and the prof said to him “what does that say?” and he deadpanned “i can’t speak chinese” and everyone sat there in dumbfounded silence and then the presenter clicked to show that the text literally said “i can’t speak chinese” with the most shit-eating grin on his face
online friendships are a delicate mix of “i know all your deepest secrets” and “wait you’re not left-handed”
open and raw communication with your partner may be uncomfortable and feel so ugly and vulnerable but it solves soo many problems in the end

Make-up can absolutely be artistic, but the difference between make-up and say, painting, is that artists aren’t expected to all paint the same standardised picture before leaving the house every day just to be treated with respect.
My aesthetic is stories about kids living is rural areas with supernatural overtones.
