yall. i was going through some of cc's old newsletters, and on the one of april 8th (for me, might be like 9th or 7th for yall??) last year (2024), so exactly one year ago, she was talking abt when shed get the books she was working on released. she also mentioned how itd been sold tot the publisher around october the year before that (which is when she was able to get started writing). and one thing she said was that it takes at least 1 year to write a book. its been a year since she said that.... over a year since she was able to get started....

so, in conclusion, cc is, at the very least, relatively close to finishing tlkof.

now, i saw another post point out that the tsc books have had a trend of the main ship(s) kissing in the first book (dont quote me on this, i havent checked, im just trusting the post.)

The issue that I believe may be causing a lot of grief rn to traffic fandom as a whole is the idea that there needs to be a fandom wide consensus on themes and meanings and imagery instead of everyone getting to take canon and have fun with it and interpret it in the way they want. It's what's fun abt mcyt in general babygirls it's the freedom of it all. Peace and love

okay, during the progression of secret life, gem has been receiving some very hurtful and unnecessary hate comments. now, that's just not right. we all need to do better to support our favorite CC's.

so, i was thinking of hosting a geminitay appreciation week, where we, as a community, contribute to daily art pieces of gem for this entire week! gem needs to know that , despite all the hate she's been getting, she still has a lot of supportive and loving viewers who enjoy her and her beautiful content!
