« • Forefinger (Index Finger) — Ruled by Jupiter and the Oak, this finger is held to denote the Holy Ghost or Divine Spirit and accordingly did priests once wear rings on this finger as a sign of their office, likewise is a band worn on this 'wilful' finger said to indicate boldness of spirit.
• Fool's Finger (Middle Finger) —Ruled by Saturn and the Holly, this baleful finger rarely bares a ring, although Graves says when worn on this finger it naturally expresses a hope of resurrection. It is also known as the digitus impudicus after its use as an aggressive sexual insult, its form suggestive of the upright phallus, hence its use as a gesture to avert the evil eye. Intriguingly the Hand of the Mysteries depicts this, the longest finger, with a sun above it, and likewise do images in the Richel Collection show it as variously having a sun symbol, a triangle of dots or a glowing red tip.
• Ring, Leech or Physic Finger — Ruled by Apollo (the Sun) and Hazel, this finger was used in the 15th century to stir, taste and apply medicines, whilst stroked on wounds would speed heal- ingiyo. It is known as 'the ring finger' for it is upon this digit that the solar golden wedding band is popularly worn, sometimes by religious persons to denote 'marriage' to their patron god(s).
• Auricular Finger (Little Finger) — Ruled by the psychopomp Mercury and Apple, this finger is said by Graves to be divinatory and almost necromantic in nature, for when it is used to stopper the ear as an aid to inspiration it gives rise to mysterious whispers within which secrets might be discerned. A ring worn on this finger is said to denote a masterful spirit.
• Thumb — Ruled by Venus and Hawthorn, the Romans and Greeks wore their iron seal-rings upon this finger as a charm to preserve virility; the thumb evoking the phallus and the iron ring denoting the smith-god Vulcan, husband of Venus. In images of the Hand of the Mysteries the thumb is depicted as being crowned, denoting the dominance of the will over the four elements, that is to say the one thumb over the four fingers, as expressed in the saying 'under the thumb'. »

Greek god of music, art, light, prophecy, oracles, knowledge, science, healing, diseases, plague, poetry, dance, herds and flocks, and archery
Apollo has a complex role as a deity for he is both the healer and the destroyer. He is known to be warm at heart and is fond of delighting others with music, namely by playing a lyre. Apollo is also deeply connected with all forms of art for he is a lover of beauty and emotion, and in fact, he is so deeply connected with the arts that the Muses are his attendees. He is a very ancient god whose origins extend beyond the Greek pantheon, being known as Apol in Egypt where he was moreso a god of war. Apollo was among one of the most feared Greek gods, and was terrifying to even the gods themselves.
As a healer, Apollo is known to visit humans suffering from plagues and epidemics so he can heal them. Though as destroyer, he is given the name “the god who punishes and destroys (oulios) the wicked and overbearing”. All sudden deaths of men, whether they were regarded as a punishment or a reward, were believed to be the effect of the arrows of Apollo; and with the same arrows, he would send out plagues. In mythology, a story tells that four days after his birth, Apollo went to mount Parnassus, and there killed the dragon Python, who had pursued his mother during her wanderings. The circumstance of Apollo being the destroyer of the wicked was believed by some of the ancients to have given rise to his name Apollo, which they connected with apollumi, “to destroy.“
In myth, Apollo is a son of Zeus, King of the Gods, and the Titaness Leto. His mother was hounded by Zeus’ wife Hera throughout her pregnancy and thus was forced to wander the world in search of safe refuge. In one legend, his twin-sister Artemis was born one day before Apollo. His mother gave birth to Artemis on the island of Ortygia, then, almost immediately after her birth, Artemis helped her mother to cross the straits over to Delos, where she then delivered Apollo with Artemis’ help.
Along with Artemis, Apollo was a protector of children (Artemis protecting females and Apollo the males). But paradoxically, they could also be the cause for their deaths through shooting them with their arrows and raining disease upon them. In one mythical story, Artemis with her twin brother, Apollo, put to death the children of Niobe. The reason being that Niobe, a mere mortal, had boasted to Leto, the mother of the divine twins, that she had bore more children than her, which must make her superior to Leto. Apollo being outraged at such an insult on his mother, informed Artemis. The twin gods then hunted Niobe’s children down and shot them with their arrows; Apollo killed the male children and Artemis the girls.
In my personal experiences with this god, Apollo is an elegant, charming, intelligent, refined, wise, and sophisticated gentleman whose eloquent words reflect his role as a god of the arts. He is deeply compassionate and protective of those he cares for, making his heart golden like the sun itself. Though he does in fact get wrathful towards injustices and is not afraid to seek the destruction of the cruel. Apollo values courage, kindness, generosity, independence, and wisdom. He is incredibly sweet and helpful, giving wonderful advice to those who need it. He is also very calm and patient as well. When people are suffering, his heart goes out for them and he does whatever he can to heal them- both physically and mentally. Apollo also greatly loves to learn and teach, making him an outstanding deity for all sorts of areas of life. Appearance-wise, Apollo appears as a tall and very handsome gentleman with tanned skin, blue eyes, very long golden hair, and gentle facial features.

Hey I was was wondering how you make offerings to the gods? I don’t have much of a safe place in my home to do it because of my family, but when I can there’s a huge old oak tree I take fruit and wine to.
Some of us still have to hide, unfortunately.
Altars with No Portraits
Choose an item that represents your deity. For Venus, a red rose. For Apollo, a mini lyre. For Mercury, a scroll. For Mars, a lamp of LED fire.
Shrines Hidden in Plain Sight
Build a small shrine on your nightstand, a section of your bookshelf or a nook inside a cabinet. To others it will look like décor. Nothing more.
Dry and Packaged Sweets as Gifts
A box of brownies, a jar of cookies, a bar of chocolate… Compared to fruit or meat, no prying eyes will expect these to be meant for deities.
Poetry, Song and Art as Presents
Whatever talent you have, humbly offer it. If you are good with words, write your deity a poem. If you are gifted in music, compose them a song.
Indoor Plants as Offerings
Gift your god a plant, and nurture it in their name. Speak to it as you water it. Between you and your deity, let it be a living conduit. Never let it wilt.
hi, I was born under saturn and venus and I was wondering how I’d know if I am speaking to them. Thanks :)
In my family’s experience, it is never just a feeling. It is real and concrete. Neither circumstantial nor fleeting.
APOLLO
The God of Victory will give you a miraculous triumph at the last minute. Whether through a sports match, a final exam in school or a promotion at work… whatever was impossible will take a turn. And at the moment of your win, the Sun will shine on you. If it is raining, it will suddenly stop. If it is a bright day, it will turn gloomy, except right above you.
DIANA
The Goddess of Fertility will bathe you in silver. When you look in the mirror, you will see yourself wearing a silver necklace you cannot feel on your neck. You will hear people compliment a silver bracelet you cannot see yourself wearing. You will see photographs of you wearing a silver dress when in reality the fabric was black or red.
MERCURY
The God of Wit and Trickery will give you a tragedy. Something unexpected and shocking. But almost immediately, you will find that this disaster has led you to something better than you ever imagined. That is him whimsically turning your car around, showing you the right way to your destiny.
VENUS
The Goddess of Beauty will scar you. Something will wound you. An accident will make you bleed. And then the very next day, you will see no trace of it on your skin. It will miraculously heal. That is her letting you know that she can give and she can take away, now that you are hers.
MARS
The God of War will spill blood in your name to christen you. That boy in school who has been bullying you will find himself in a wheelchair. Some villainous adult you have been feeling threatened by could suddenly die. You will come across books and websites about making your dreams come true and being ambitious and true to you.
JUPITER
The God of Abundance will give you a windfall. Your parents could suddenly get promoted, benefitting you directly. A distant aunt you did not know you had could die, leaving you an enormous inheritance. You could win a raffle draw you would not even remember joining. He likes to throw a party for his new children.
SATURN
The God of Harvest will balance the scales for you so you can start again. Anyone who cheated to get ahead of you will suddenly fall. Someone you deem unethical or immoral could lose everything they have. He will not give you an advantage, but he will take away others’ head start so you can compete fairly again.
URANUS
The God of Chaos will give you endless waking visions. You will spend a whole afternoon in a chocolatier only to find out the next day that it never existed. You will have a long conversation with a man only for someone to approach you and say, “Why are you talking to yourself?” He will let you travel through the veil to different times and realities.
NEPTUNE
The God of the Hidden will whisper in your ear. He will tell you secrets about people, places and things. It is a test. If you use this knowledge to hurt the innocent, you will never hear from him again. But if you use it to destroy only the cruel and the deserving, he will keep talking.
PLUTO
The God of the Underworld will physically visit you. You will wake up in the middle of the night to find a tall, hooded figure standing a few feet away. You will feel sleepy. When you wake up again, you will see him sitting on your bed, silently watching you. The next time you open your eyes, you will see his face inches away from yours. He will not be smiling, but it will feel so comforting.
Hello Lilian, do you have any recommendations for basic daily protection? I wear an evil eye, but was wondering if there’s anything else you might recommend that is good for personal safety and the safety of my loved ones. My anxiety is so bad these days and I’m hoping to have a bit of peace of mind. Thank you ❤️
I have quite a few recommendations actually ❤️
First, I would like to point out that the evil eye charm does not actually do anything to protect one from envy or other negative energies; it is simply just a folk charm. We have them everywhere in Greece, though if they actually had some power, so many people would not be getting affected still. So instead, one should use crystals, which act as amulets and talismans since they actually are imbued with spiritual energies and planetary connections (unlike evil eye trinkets).
I would advise that you use these following stones, and to use as many as you like:
Alexandrite: keep on you in order for it to dispel negative energy out of your body and back to whoever caused it (no matter if it was intentional or not).
Snowflake Obsidian: carry it on you and touch it before going outside while asking for it to protect your energy. This stone helps keep you grounded and more energized.
Jet: this stone protects against curses
Black Tourmaline: this stone protects against negative energy and is also a healing stone. In order to use it for healing, you must place it on your bare stomach and slowly turn in around in a circle, then lay it still for about a minute or until your energy feels better. It is good to use this after being around other people, since their negative emotions can get built up inside our astral bodies; this stone takes that away.
Star Sapphire: this stone acts as a guard against negative energy, but is unable to block all of it
As a note, if any of these stones are on jewelry, you will need to ritually bless the piece of jewelry in order for it to activate the stone.
For me it’s ✨🥰♑️💕♌️ sounds about right-
your first column of emojis describes your personality! what’s yours?
Good day, lady diana! Not to attack anyone but most of the greco roman pagans here only have literature, movies and their imagination as basis for what they're saying. You're the only one i trust to know the answer to my question. Since the old gods are not like the new ones who have a black and white view of good and bad, does that mean the old gods support crime? Since they're more open minded? Since they understand human impulse? Since they're more human in a way? Thank you very much!
For a time in the Roman Empire, being a Christian was a crime. Then during the Victorian era, not wearing black after your husband died was an equally serious crime. And today, merely having an unpopular opinion on Twitter seems to be the biggest crime.
So if by crime, you mean our whimsical definition of the word, then I can tell you with certainty that the divine cannot be bothered.
But on our gods' definition of a crime, my elders’ tales and my own accounts are aligned.
Unlike the new gods, the old ones do not exist just to watch over us. They have their own exciting lives. That is why they value peace. Because peace on earth means they mostly live undisturbed.
Therefore, a criminal to them is whoever destroys the peace. But not just anyone who wreaks havoc. Rather, the one who starts a brawl. Here are some examples:
FOR APOLLO
To the Lord of Victory, cheating is a grave crime. But if your opponent did it first and you are only balancing the scales, then you are not the criminal in his eyes. The other guy is. He is the one who will be punished.
FOR DIANA
To the Goddess of the Hunt, killing wildlife is a crime. But those who hunt merely to eat have nothing to fear. Along with those who are only removing a threat to their own life, or to their crops and their livestock.
FOR MERCURY
To the Lord of Antics, pranks are a joy, not a crime. But those who use trickery to take advantage of the innocent should beware. Scammers, corrupt politicians, vile lawyers… such are criminals in his eyes.
FOR VENUS
To the Goddess of Love, stealing someone’s boyfriend is not a crime. Because such an act is impossible. Humans have free will. Our hearts cannot be stolen. Lying about loving someone just to use them – that is what a crime is.
FOR MARS
To the Lord of War, starting a fight is not a crime. Neither is losing it. Like Apollo, it is cheating that he despises, along with cowardice. And of course he enjoys bloodshed. But not when it is the blood of the innocent.
FOR JUPITER
To the Lord of Optimism, gossiping is a crime. Speaking ill of someone out of malice awakens his fury. And so when the victim fights back, he supports her completely, even when the punishment exceeds the crime.
FOR SATURN
To the Lord of Harvest, stealing is a crime. For he values honest work. Unless you are stealing from a thief. Then he appreciates you bringing everything back to balance. You can think of him as a Robin Hood fan.
FOR URANUS
To the Lord of Chaos, rocking the boat is not a crime. He loves people who think differently, no matter how harmful or threatening his opinions might be for others. Unless he actually hurts somebody, Uranus will see him dearly.
FOR NEPTUNE
To the Lord of Mysticism, not believing in anything bigger than yourself is a crime. He does not care whether it is him you believe in. But if you think you are the strongest force on earth, you might be pushing him to prove you wrong.
FOR PLUTO
To the Lord of Death, ending those who deserve it is not a crime. Think of him as a proponent of capital punishment. Makes sense that of all the gods, he is the most responsive to his children, when they are begging for vengeance.
Of course, the gods’ minds are more complex than I can comprehend. But the above is an authentic excerpt from the experience of the pagans in my lineage.
Dearest Lady Diana, I noticed you always mention amulets and talismans together, when the less experienced writers here just use these two words interchangeably like synonyms. Can I please know the difference between the two? Thank you!
An amulet is a shield. A talisman is a sword.
The first will protect you from harm. The second will do that and more, such as send malice back to its source, or collect its energy to be harnessed later on in a curse. It can even heal invisible wounds.
Except when a talisman is labelled a protective talisman. In that case, it really is just a synonym for “amulet”.
But this is not to belittle amulets. A man who took a gunshot to the chest would tell you how his life was saved by a bulletproof vest. Same with an amulet. It can shield you from bullets, curses, diseases.
Amulets are also safer for beginners. Because while amulets are programmed to serve their purpose, talismans have a mind of their own. If they do not think the wearer worthy of their power, they could refuse to work, or they could wreak havoc altogether.
Here are some, if you think yourself ready to try them:
Amulet Against Human-Caused Harm
Amulet to Keep Children Safe
Talisman Against Curses
Talisman to Banish Fear and Negativity
They need awakening and care, if you wish them to do their share:

What are your thoughts on black magic (eg. love spells/ for revenge) & collecting bones?
If you knew a man who molested children, and you gave him a stroke, ensuring he never moves again… you took away his ability to cause pain. You helped bring balance back. Such magic cannot be called black.
If you cast on yourself a memory-improving charm, which placed you ahead of a classmate who deserved first place… you caused an imbalance. What to you was harmless was not quite. Such magic cannot be called white.
Love spells cause imbalance, for the affections you take are not yours to claim.
Revenge spells create balance, for you are merely giving back the pain you unwillingly obtained.
If you are powerful enough, you may do as you please. But know that those who cause an imbalance will owe a debt that will one day be collected.
As for bones, all that is dead should be given back to earth. They deserve to be left in peace, not taken and reawakened.

Metawork Terminology Series: [ Energy Work ] [ Astral Work ]
These definitions are not put forward as the only possible meanings, they are simply based on my own experiences and personal definitions. Like my other two posts, there are no citations because these definitions are based on my own experiences and may or may not describe the experiences of others.
Spirit - An organized cluster of energy with at least some level of sentience that has an energy body and in most cases also an astral body. Spirits generally do not inhabit physical bodies unless they are possessing an entity with a physical body, are attached to a vessel, or are reborn as a spirit incarnate.
Vessel - A physical container that helps a spirit manifest on the physical plane.
Spirit incarnate - Any living being with a physical body (usually a human being) whose energy and astral bodies would be classified as a non-human spirit. This most frequently occurs as the result of a non-human spirit being reincarnated as a human, which is how the spirit became incarnated in a physical body.
Spirit species - A variety of spirits who all share many common traits in their general appearance, energy signatures, and other features. Spirits of the same species will generally be able to produce offspring that carry most of the same traits as their parent(s).
Class of spirit species - A broad grouping of many spirit species that are interrelated in terms of their energies and morphological features. They may also possibly share cultural, linguistic, political, regional, and other commonalities.
Deities - A class of spirits who are powerful beyond the scope of most other spirits and who have control over forces in a specific area or the entire universe on a macro scale. (friendly reminder: these are all my personal definitions, not universal ones)
Nature spirits - A very broad class of spirit species that relate to the forces of nature. I consider plant spirits, tree spirits, fae spirits, land spirits, and many elemental spirits to all be types of nature spirits.
Fae (faeries) - The faefolk are a sub-class of nature spirits. The many different fae species have a wide diversity of outward appearances, but they are all distinguishable by the common aspects of their energy signatures that every fae species shares. Fae energy is a specific combination of nature and pure magic energy. Some live on Earth’s physical plane while others reside in any of the many different fae realms across numerous astral planes.
Land spirits - A sub-class of nature spirits who are very closely associated with a certain territory and primarily live to protect that land.
Night spirits - A class of spirit species that are aligned with the nighttime. They are often classed as “demons,” but many are actually just various species of nature spirits. Usually but not always quite dangerous.
Parasite - A class of spirit species who are energy feeders and prey on certain entities as their hosts. Often warded and protected against.
Human spirits (ghosts) - The deceased spirit of a human being. All human spirits are a part of one single spirit species.
Ancestral spirits - A class of spirits who are the ancestors of an entity either from that entity’s current lifetime or across other lives. Typically, the terms “ancestral spirits” and “ancestors” refer to a person’s human ancestors from their current lifetime.
Twin flames - Two entities with energy signatures that are identical, almost identical, or so interrelated in some fashion that they clearly are two halves of a whole. Twin flames being reborn during the same lifetime seems to be rare.
Metawork - The practice and discipline of the three highly interrelated fields of energy work, spirit work, and astral work.
Spirit work - The practice and discipline of sensing, interacting with, or commanding spirits. A sub-field of metawork. This is not necessarily a type of witchcraft, but can be referred to as witchcraft when spirit work is incorporated into someone’s witchcraft practice. Closely associated with hedge craft. Many other types of magical traditions that are not forms of witchcraft also include spirit work.
Ancestor work - The practice and discipline of working with ancestral spirits. A sub-field of spirit work.
Conjuring - The act of bringing a spirit to a specific location. Conjuring encompasses a wide variety of different methods which can range from voluntary such as using a beacon of energy to request a spirit’s presence to involuntary which magically force a spirit to manifest at the target location.
Banishing - The act of sending a spirit away from a certain area (the opposite of conjuring). Banishing techniques can be voluntary such as communicating or negotiating with a spirit for them to leave or involuntary when magical methods are used to forcefully remove the spirit against their will.
Binding - The act of using magical means to control a spirit’s behavior in some way. Binding is frequently used to ensure that a spirit remains connected to a vessel, but it can also be used to keep a spirit in a general location or prevent them from transgressing certain predetermined rules. It not uncommon for binding to be completely consensual between spirits and spirit workers.
Possession - When a spirit inhabits and/or takes control over a physical body that is usually controlled and inhabited by someone else. To some, this term implies that a spirit with harmful intentions has forced control over a human being, but in many religions, spirit possession is welcomed and invited. Whether or not being possessed by a spirit is a negative thing usually depends a lot on the specific context and the spirit involved.
Spirit adoption (reverse adoption) - When a spirit wishes to become a spirit companion or live and work with a spirit worker and voluntarily chooses to do so. Adoptions are often facilitated by a spirit adoption center or shop.
Spirit spouse - A term usually used to describe a human spirit worker’s spouse who is a spirit or a deity.
Spirit companion - Any spirit and spirit worker who have established some kind of meaningful relationship and who wish to use this term to describe that relationship.
Spirit guardian - A spirit who has taken on the role of protecting something or someone. I typically use this term as a generic way of describing a spirit who spends a lot of time and energy looking after a person or another spirit. It is not uncommon for people to have spirit guardian(s), and sometimes a spirit companion may also wish to act as as a guardian.
Thoughtform - Any spirit who was created by a spirit worker through magical means (whether purposefully or accidentally). “Tulpamancy” comes from the Tibetan word tulpa that relates to practices within Vajrayana Buddhism, so this is not a secular spirit work term that is appropriate for general use.
If any of these definitions resonate with you, feel free to use them but if quoting me or reposting somewhere, please attribute credit back to me. Thanks!
In the spirit of Samhain which comes ever so close, here is a list of stones you can use to help you connect, channel, and feel your ancestors and loved ones on the otherside.
Amber is neither a stone nor a mineral. It is a resin that oozed from prehistoric forests millions of years ago. Sometimes, encased inside are insects and even small animals, preserved through the ages as they were when they were alive. Because of this, amber is a stone of immortality, of life after death, thus it was often placed inside graves of the deceased to symbolize their eternal life. Use this old, old, resin to connect with ancestors down the ancestral line. Bonus is there is a little critter in yours!
Fallen trees take a hundred years to petrify. Add that to how old the tree could have been when it fell and you have a good hefty amount of time. In sort, these stone are ancient. Trees already symbolize wisdom, knowledge, and family so using petrified wood to connect to your family tree and reach your roots is perfect. I can’t think of a better stone!
Bloodstone’s link to blood can be traced back to as far as five thousand years ago in ancient Mesopotamia. It has long since been used to help circulation and ailments of the blood. When connecting with our ancestors, our bloodline is an important link to them. The DNA in our blood contains little genetic bits and pieces from those who have come before us. Nothing can be created or destroyed in nature. The DNA in our blood is not new, it has existed since the beginning of time and was passed down to us. Use bloodstone to tap into this, to connect, to travel through the bloodline into your ancestry as far as you would like to go.
These little triangles hold information. They hold records of what was and what is. They record the history of earth since the beginning of time. They hold the history of earth creatures, the secrets of our evolution. They are links into the akashic records. Use them to access your heritage, your ancestors and your lost loved ones.
I chose garnet for a similar reason as I chose the bloodstone. Garnet also has a strong association with blood and it’s also associated with fire and sexuality which gives me strong life vibes. I see using this crystal as a guide to take someone living through their blood into their ancestry.
Skull shapes are perfect for channeling and connect with ancestors and lost loved one. The shape resembles a human who has gone to the other side. If you have a bloodstone skull, all the better!
If you have a necklace or a wallet or something that someone had, it works all the better to connect with that person specifically and to call them to you from the other side.
Music is always something that helps me connect. Here are a few songs you can use to help you if you’d like. These are my go to for connecting with ancestors and loved ones. In my last post, I talked about different types of spirits that witches may work with. Today, we’re going to discuss how to approach spirits and establish a working relationship.
Keep in mind that these are general guidelines, and every spirit is different. I encourage you to do your own research beyond this post, especially if you plan to work with powerful entities like deities, angels, or fairies.
It’s important to keep these things in mind when working with spirits:
Respect. The spirits are powerful, and you need to have a healthy respect for that power when working with them. It’s also important to respect them as individual, autonomous beings.
I’m not saying that every interaction you have with the spirits needs to be a full blown ritual with incense and chanting. (In fact, some spirits don’t care for those types of rituals.) But every interaction you have with them should be conducted with an air of respect and reverence.
What this mostly boils down to is good manners. Being polite will get you better results — and it will also keep you from being on the receiving end of spirit mischief. Proper etiquette depends on the type of spirit you’re working with, which is one reason it’s important to do your research. In general, it’s polite to make an offering, use respectful language, and thank the spirits before you leave (unless you’re dealing with fairies — some traditions say you should never thank the fae).
Respecting spirits also means respecting their desires — even if that means respecting their wish not to work with you. Not every spirit you reach out to will want to form a relationship with you, just like not every person you meet in your life will want to be your friend. When a spirit turns you down, respect their decision, politely bid them farewell, and move on.
Reciprocity. The goal of spirit work is to establish a mutually-beneficial partnership — not for one partner to serve the other. On one hand, this means that you can’t just command spirits to do your bidding without giving anything in return. On the other hand, it also means that you won’t be worshiping/honoring them without receiving some kind of boon.
This is why it’s important to make offerings to the spirits you work with. These offerings “feed” the spirits by giving them power, and a good offering will likely make a spirit more willing to work with you. Offerings are not payment for favors from spirits (it’s not quite that simple), but they are a sign that you intent to practice reciprocity in your relationship.
In general, it’s important to make an offering when you first introduce yourself to a spirit and again before you ask them for anything. But you shouldn’t only make offerings when you’re about to ask for something! How would you feel if you had a friend who only did nice things for you when they were about to ask for a favor? You’d probably start avoiding them, right? You might even get angry. To avoid this kind of dynamic in your spirit work, make regular offerings to the spirits you work with. If you’re especially close with a spirit, you may want to offer to them every day.
Relationship. The spirits are not vending machines where you put offerings in and blessings fall out. They are living, sentient beings with feelings, and deserve to be treated as such. Your relationship with the spirits you choose to work with is just that: a relationship. And like any relationship, it requires time, energy, and emotional labor.
If that sounds like more effort than you want to make, there are plenty of ways to do magic without ever working with spirits. You don’t need to do spirit work to be a witch. It may not be your thing, and that’s okay!
But if you choose to work with spirits, it’s important to remember that you are working with them as an equal partner — you’re not their boss, and they are not obligated to like you, help you, or even tolerate you. Relationships with spirits are built over time, through mutual respect and trust.
You wouldn’t drive up to your friend’s house, throw a fast-food burger at them, and then demand a special favor. Likewise, you shouldn’t just dump an offering on your altar and demand something of the spirits. Take the time to sit down with them. Talk to them. Get to know them. Put some thought into your offerings, instead of just offering the same thing every time. Spirit work is, at its core, about building an authentic relationship with the spirits we choose to include in our practice. Enjoy it.
Research. When it comes to spirits, it’s important to know exactly who (and what) you’re dealing with. As previously mentioned, the etiquette for dealing with fairies is very different from other land spirits. Different deities have different standards for their worshipers, which vary from one pantheon to the next. The way you interact with your ancestors will probably be shaped by their personalities, cultures, and values. All this is to say it’s important to know who you’re reaching out to, preferably before you reach out to them.
With deities, this is easy. Most witches who choose to work with deities will feel drawn to a certain pantheon, or even a specific god or goddess. There’s a lot of information out there about most historical pantheons, so researching them is easy. The same goes for angels, saints, demons, and even fairies.
It can be a little more difficult to do your research when you’re dealing with land spirits, spirits of place, or other less well-known figures. In these cases, it’s best to take three steps: 1.) figure out what type of spirit you’re dealing with (land spirit, animal spirit, ancestor, etc.), 2.) find out what this type of spirit is like generally, and 3.) find out how that applies to your specific spirit.
For example: you want to connect with your local land spirits. You do some research to find out how land spirits have been treated in various cultures — you find out that they’re typically benevolent, are closely tied to the natural landscape, and were often given food offerings. Then, you do some research into your local plants and animals — what form might a nature spirit take in your local environment? Would it be a huge moose with snow-covered antlers, or a magnolia tree in full bloom? Is there any local folklore in your area that could be describing a land spirit? Once you have answers to these questions, you’ll have a much better idea of how to approach the spirits and start up a relationship.
Begin by identifying who this spirit is. For example, let’s say you choose to reach out to a specific ancestor spirit — maybe a deceased grandparent. Make sure you’re familiar with the etiquette for interacting with this type of spirit so you don’t accidentally do something disrespectful. (If your Grandma hated cussing, try not to drop any f-bombs while communing with her.)
Create a special space to communicate with the spirit. This can be as simple as lighting a candle or as elaborate as setting up a special altar. If you’re reaching out to a grandparent, you might set up a small ritual space with a photo of them, any of their belongings that you have access to, and some things that they enjoyed while they were alive. These items may make the connection easier, but you don’t need them to communicate. What matters is that you’ve taken the time to create a special space for this moment. (Like all ritual spaces, it should be clean and tidy, and it’s a good idea to do an energetic cleanse beforehand.)
Make an offering. Make sure your offering is appropriate for the spirit you’re connecting to. Offerings should be made with an air of reverence — don’t just toss a bag of Doritos on your altar and expect it to be well-received.
Introduce yourself. Speak out loud. State your intention and who you are hoping to connect with.
Wait and listen. You may feel a presence or receive some kind of sign — or you may not. Just because you didn’t get a sign doesn’t mean that your offering wasn’t noticed or that you’re being ignored. You may also receive a sign several hours, days, or weeks after you first reach out. Be patient.
Say your farewells. Express your gratitude for the spirit’s presence, and let them know that you are ending your little ritual. It’s up to you whether to invite them to stick around or politely tell them to leave, but if you’re going to give a spirit permission to linger in your home you better be 1000% sure you know who they are and what their intentions with you are.
As you work with this spirit, it is important to establish clear boundaries for the relationship. Be clear about what you want to accomplish by working with them, and make sure you understand what they expect from you in return.
You might want to establish a time limit: for example, maybe you’re choosing to work closely with the goddess Brigid from Imbolc to Samhain, at which point you can choose to continue the relationship or to take a step back. Or, you may choose to work with a spirit on a specific task — for example, working with the goddess Aphrodite to get back on your feet and rebuild your self esteem after a breakup. Once this task is accomplished, you may choose to form a more long-term relationship or to take a step back.
Forming a permanent or long-term working relationship with a spirit is a very big, very serious commitment, and should not be taken lightly. This goes double for anything involving a ritual commitment, such as dedication to a deity. When you make these commitments, you are choosing to make a spirit and their energy a permanent part of your life. This decision requires some very serious introspection and consideration, and should not be made impulsively.

Elemental imbalances occur when an individual has a limited element present in their birth chart and most often an excess of another. An unattended imbalance can cause stress of extremes of an element being projected by ones personality (Think of the knights in the Tarot).
Having 10 planets in the natal chart, including the rising sign, we naturally have a high chance of having an elemental imbalance in our birth chart and personality.
An imbalance of elements often looks like a minimum of 2 planets in an element, often seen as only having 2-0 planets missing from being familiar with that elements associations.
Having aspects from planets that naturally contain the missing elemental energies prominent in the natal chart (example, if you lack air but have many mercury aspects), this can aid the elemental lack, though it will not necessarily bring the elements in ones personality into balance for the planet will still be in an excess sign (example mercury in pisces), and it will still act accordingly to the element it’s placed in.

How to balance your elements
When we are unbalanced, we either draw others to use (or us to them) to act as an external reflection of the things we lack within ourselves, however, its possible to engage in other activities that can help bring our elemental lack into appropriate balance that can allow for self-healing and improved wellness.
At times due to elemental imbalances in out chart, we may be drawn to another who has excess of the element we lack (even signs) as to experiences a sense of ‘ying and yang’ by interacting with another. You may find you personally may greatly clash with another, yet you are reluctant to part because they seem to ‘fulfil’ you in a way you can’t explain.
For the element you lack the most in your chart, see the table below to find out ways you can help bring the lacking element in your personality.
Last month, I began researching 20 natal charts from online and personally known psychic readers to examine the particular aspects that are often found in their natal charts indicated extra sensory abilities.
Having a multitude of aspects listed below can indicate very strong psychic potential within an individual, and this may assist you in distinguishing your particularly strongest ‘clairs’ , then you may seek out training in that specific intuitive ability to hone in on your personal connection to spirit, or to simply identify you’re natural intuitive gifts.
Some may have several indicators of different ‘clair’s’, and may have the ability to tap into all forms of receiving spirits information. You are rarely ever limited to one particular method of psychic ability, rather that a form of connection may be easier for you than others.
See list below to see if you have any listed aspects within your chart to define your strongest Clair(s) + see links below image for FREE psychic guided meditations.

…
Planetary placements, houses and aspects that are important to psychic ability.
NEPTUNE/PISCES/12th HOUSE: These are often the most obvious in regards to connection to spirit and psychic ability. Reason being is that Neptune naturally ruling the 12th house, it blurs the boundaries between the physical ‘reality’ of the 6th house, into the realm of spirit.
Neptune’s watery energy is hypersensitive, allowing the recognition for subtle vibrations to be identified by the body and the 5 senses (12th house sextile the 2nd house/ Pisces sextile Taurus), though we often have a difficult time BELIEVING the psychic information we receive (12th house square the 9th/ Pisces square Sagittarius) because it doesn’t seem logical or rational (12 house square the 3rd house/Pisces square gemini) and therefore psychic information doesn’t seem tangible (12th opposite 6th/ Pisces opposite virgo).
Neptune is essentially our auric field, our astral body and etherial energy, and the health of this body is reflected by the health of our physical body (6th/Virgo/Ceres - or mercury if you use traditional rulers).
To have Neptune in preferably an easy aspect to other planets in the natal chart such as the moon (which is highly receptive and intuitive), the sun (identifying with the realms of the spiritual worlds) and especially mercury (our mind, how we communicate) is quite often seen in the charts of well balanced and strong intuitives. Neptune in easy aspect to Mars shows that one is able to take action based on intuitive guidance.
To have harder aspects to the personal planets from Neptune can also indicate strong spiritual connection to spirit, however this may at times be to the degree of being overwhelmed, becoming ungrounded easily or becoming confused due to having difficulty discriminating between whats imagined and what is true psychic information.
MERCURY/3rd HOUSE/GEMINI: “Mercury…psychic? You’re kidding right?…” Nope! Absolutely not, in fact, from what I’ve uncovered, mercury, the 3rd house and gemini are a crucial part to psychic ability, and even more so for readers.
Reason being…psychic ability is a form of COMMUNICATION
Essentially when you see a psychic reader or even connect with spirit yourself, you or the reader is communicating! Having receptive planets in the 3rd house, in aspect to the 3rd house ruler or mercury, or gemini on the 8th/12th can give an individual the ability to clearly communicate with spirit.
The most common aspect I have seen in the charts of clairvoyants is Mercury Trine (or sextile) Neptune, which is quite important if you need to clearly and affectively relay messages from spirits or what you ‘see’, ‘feel’, ‘hear’ or ‘know’ to someone you’re reading for, or when reading for yourself.
Often our strongest clair comes from the method in which we best LEARN and understand INFORMATION. It is quite possible for an individual to have a highly intuitive chart, though if mercury is poorly aspected, the individual may often disregard psychic information or it may go un-noticed all together.
Hence why when it comes to enhancing psychic ability, meditation is often encouraged to ‘still the mind and listen’ as mercury is the gateway in which we convert messages from spirit into information - hence why this is so difficult for most people as it is a highly un-natural thing to do. This is why Pisces forms a square aspect to Gemini - they really don’t understand each other! But in training the mind to calm down, we can become receptive to the messages and information we receive from ethereal sources (Hence why I have also written a post to make squares work, as it can be done to create profound changes - link here: https://ellie-mae-astrology.tumblr.com/post/163518731132/the-benefit-of-squares-astrology).
PLUTO/8th HOUSE/SCORPIO: Another recognised highly intuitive sign/house/planet. These astrological placements are all about kundalini, raw spiritual energy, mergence with another, and ‘sharing’. In regards to psychic ability, those with (preferably easy) aspects from Pluto to the Sun, moon, mercury and even mars, can truly dive deep into ones subconscious mind through shamanic spiritual connection.
When I think of Pluto, I see an image of a transformative Sharman, who has a very dark and etherial aura, who sits in silences as their glair right through your physical body into the dark corners of your mind. You feel exposed, but locked into place as you feel as if your body has solidified. Caught in the Sharman’s gaze, and they say - “I know you, all of you, the real you” - and with that, flashes of past traumas, self limiting beliefs and fears all seem to purge from you all at once. You’re in tears, shaking, and crying, though this great sense of purging brings you an immense sense of relief. You sit down, and feel as though you are now of pure light. All that was blocking you previously has seemingly been reaped from you from the powerful transformative energy of the Sharman.
This is the power of Pluto.
We obsess with Pluto because Pluto is obsessed with us. It wants us to let go of what no longer serves us, and so does spirit.
The 8th house is the gateway in your chart between you and your body (opposite the 2nd) and that of spirit and the deceased. The 8th house holds the energies in which is transmuted to our psychic tools. Tarot cards, pendulums and other divination systems are simply another more than a 2nd house/Taurian object - but when embedded with the energies of spirit, they become a powerful gateway between our world an theirs.
Those with strong Pluto/scorpio energies are the souls to have a reading from in times of self limitation and stagnation that is blocking you from getting where they want to go. These people due to their raw energy aren’t always gentle - but they are very real, and very authentic. These people make great reiki and energy healers, as well as psychic readers that can deeply get to the deep rooted core of your issues.
MOON/4th HOUSE/CANCER: It is quite clear that the water signs, houses and planets play an important role when it comes to psychic ability, as these all have a particular ability to receive information from spirit from heightened sensitivity.
The Moon on the other hand, plays an important role to the receptivity of psychic information in the form of emotional responses. The moon will be quite literally our ‘gut feelings’. Our emotional responses are not always stimulated from the basis of the external environment, but is most commonly a response to ‘thoughts’ - hence why if you’ve ever heard about the moon ruling ‘the mind’ in other astrological posts, this is why. When we think a thought about something, usually of a PAST experience (moon ruled), it is stimulated by an emotional response. Hence why guided meditations are fantastic for people with strong moon placements, as they are quite receptive to the thought provocations given by the meditation guide.
To be able to receive thought from other people and spirit is the ability to connect with the emotional energies another person is projecting. Cancerians can pick up the underlying emotions of another, and a greatly stimulated by instinctual reactions to their environment.
There’s a much more deeper understanding to the moon when it comes to psychic information. One things to understand is that our moon sign, house and aspects are our subconscious programming. You may like to research personal paradigms by Bob Proctor and Esther Hicks (and also the moon plays a core role in our natural instinct and responses). These individuals are teachers of the Law of Attraction, and have mastered the understand of how changing ones paradigm (emotional state through thoughts) can assist you in manifestation (let me know if you’d like a post about the Law of attraction and Astrology!).
Because the moon indicates our primitive nature on the basis of self care, nurture and instinctual reactions, the condition of our moon will indicate how well we receive intuitive information and utilise it. Raising ones vibration in oder to meet with spirit is an act of greatly enhancing, calming and relaxing the emotional state (moon) and the mind (mercury) in order to receive information.
Once well practiced in the art of calming the mind and raising ones vibration, an individual can then easily tune into spirit quite easily, and without much effort. Those with Moon in (preferably easy) aspect to Uranus, Neptune or Pluto will greatly indicate someone who can easily tap into the spirit realm or receive intuitive information.
Uranus to the moon will indicate more of a claircognisent form of obtaining information, as these intuitive hits will strike the individual like lightening out of no where, and sudden downloads of information may be quite prominent.
Neptune to the moon is very, very, VERY sensitive to others and spirit. They may get much guidance (and even care and nurture) from spiritual beings more so than those in their physical environment. Their ability to tap into the psychic stream is phenomenal, in that they have the instinctual nature to feel out where spirits are, and be highly receptive to others.
Pluto to the moon is again the image of the wise Sharman, who’s instinctual nature is to help heal and transform another. These individuals can look through you like glass, and their presence can be quite healing in of itself. These people may be on the verge of also being mediumistic, being able to sense those who have passed on to the other side. These people are great healers, and may sometimes enjoy working with energy and darker elements of the psyche.

Many people who have been studying have become quite understanding of the nature of their rising sign and how this reflects their personality as an individual (as the 1st house of ‘I am’).
Though the Ascendant plays an important role as to how you recognise yourself, your personality and sense of individuality, your Imum Coeli, Descendant and Midheaven also play an integral role to core components of who you are in relation to the context of your family, relationships and in the eye of the public.
Ever noticed how your personality changes when you’re with your family compared to when your with friends or your romantic partner? And bringing the romantic partner into the family life can initially cause a sense of tension? (4th/Cancer square the 7th/Libra…makes sense!?).
In this segment, we are going to explore how the sign on your Midheaven can display how you are perceived in the eye of the public. This means how you will appear to people who barely know you, people who you walk by in the street or on the bus, to your social media platforms and the reputation you gain through your career. When watching celebrities on television, you are far more likely seeing their MIDHEAVEN sign (and 10th house activity).
Take note the sign of the ruler of your Midheaven is in and read about that placement as well (especially if you have an empty 10th house) + you may also like to read about the planets in the 10th, though the sign of your midheaven and its ruling planet will be far more potent in relation to how you are perceived in the public eye and what you are most ‘famous’ for.
Note
I have listed as many possible positive and ‘not so positive’ reputations you may gain in the eyes of the public. Those that apply will greatly vary on the entire natal chart.
I am specifically referring to the Midheaven though planets in the 10th house will affect the presentation of the public image so those may be accounted for.
Aspects to the midheaven such as the conjunctions and opposition may be accounted for, though trines, textiles, and squares can give energy to the Midheaven also, their manifestations will be slightly more subtle. If you are new or intermediate to astrology, aim to only read about conjunctions or oppositions to your MC if you have any. Oppositions will indicate conjunctions to the IC (Imum Coeli) and this will mean that planet is hidden from the public.

The Saturn rings symbolise the laws of karma, so obstruction with Saturn is somewhat inevitable. But Saturn also constructs internal conditions and rationalisations that result in external obstructions, and it’s most likely the prime experience we are consciously attempting to circumvent that we create. Certainly, Saturn can be the devil inside, re-enforcing to us why we deserve what we fear the most
🖤 Saturn in the 1st - There is a consuming need to be loved, accepted, respected, and valued. But the mask can be so tightly sewn and programmed that the light is dim and people don’t have an opportunity to truly see them, the connections can therefore seem vague or unreal, but they don’t expose enough of themselves to make these relationships possible
🖤 Saturn in the 2nd - The sense of being unworthy and void of value makes it difficult to enjoy what they have worked so hard for. They fear missing out on life to survive, but they can be so focused on surviving they forget to live, indulge, and remind themselves that they are important
🖤 Saturn in the 3rd - Thought patterns regarding lack of intelligence and reduced sense of mental value can create paralysis in the mind. Fear of fearing an exam can become so consuming that the mind is worn down by the time pen is put to paper. They can see the work on the board and feel reduced, telling themselves over and over that they are too ‘dumb’ to learn it and missing everything the teacher says in the meantime
🖤 Saturn in the 4th - Fear of change can bind the individual very closely to mental and physical conditions. They can lean dependently on personal routines and practices until they become self-destructive ritual and they are forced with desperation to make the substantial internal reflection and change they shy from. It can reach such a low they may be forced to change residence
🖤 Saturn in the 5th - The sense of not being special enough to love can blind romantic opportunities when they present themselves, the individual can shut off from the person’s affections despite their need and desires, feeling that soon they will be exposed for what they are. The person may feel unworthy of a child or in desperate need for one, increasing stress on the body and physiology and obstructing its natural processes
🖤 Saturn in the 6th - Fear of losing employment can create a nervous or vigilant nature at work that draws exactly what they attempt to avoid the most - attention. Intense self-consciousness can cause them to make unusual mistakes before superiors and act of of character, much to their detriment
🖤 Saturn in the 7th - The image of the perfect, solid, and unproblematic relationship can be so consuming that the individual searches for a conditioned and constructed ‘spark’ or ‘feeling’ when seeking a prospective partner. It can be so tightly regulated that they ignore, deny, or evade the natural, mysterious, and evocative sensations they generate with the people who can provide what they are searching for
🖤 Saturn in the 8th - Fear of exposure, vulnerability, and submission can occlude the flow into natural intimacy and interpersonal trust with lovers. They individual can fear the process of letting go and allowing instinct to take over, instead they can watch themselves, create pains, and fail to build into that peak of union they deeply long for
🖤 Saturn in the 9th - There is significant desire to accredit and accomplish the mind, but feelings of intellectual invalidity can cause the individual to doubt their potential and withhold enrolling into higher education due to ‘never feeling ready’. The intense fear of failing and high expectation can create such severe nerves and mental paralysis that university is extended due to illness, underperformance, and reconfiguring the course
🖤 Saturn in the 10th - Fear of failure or unreadiness blind successful opportunities when they present themselves, and seeming like they are making no progress only exacerbates this complex. Self-lowering beliefs can obstruct them from stepping into the world they desire to conquer
🖤 Saturn in the 11th - There can be significant self-consciousness with friends, the taunting complex that they are disliked or purposely left out of things. It can make them quiet and withdrawn socially and threatens the substantial connections they crave because friends have a hard time knowing who this person really is
🖤 Saturn in the 12th - There is a highly tuned instinct and a great inner knowing that the inner waters lead to the right direction. But they can feel unworthy or undeserving of intuition or helpful guidance and put it down to childishness. There can be a need to prime and perfect the intuition to such acute degree that the flow from heaven is substantially obstructed

The individual was a force of goodness and powerful societal change, in this lifetime they are offered the rectitude of focusing on themselves and reconciling the light and shadow
-C.
Jupiter in the 1st: With Jupiter we all kind of have a spiritual mission. In the 1st house Jupiter makes these individuals so youthful, it displays their child-spirit so well, they are very jovial. Their optimism and enthusiasm is very contagius. These people believe in all of their noble pursuits, and believe in fighting their way closer and closer to their goals, with hard work and persistance and of course a hint of courage. Their instincts are really keen and careful, their intuition as well. The fire burning inside them helps them light their way towards the top. Iron will as would come from the 1st house making them not accept ‘no’ as an answer. Their mission is to spread all of this positive energy, fill themselves with it first and then pass on the enthusiasm and fighting spirit around their friends. They are here to spark the light in order for the others to follow through. These are people who are noble as well, have their own principles and never back down. They carry on with compassion and drive. Sometimes they can get carried away and forget that other people can take over for a bit, they need to take their rest for a minute and continue because they can become their own worst enemy.
Jupiter in the 2nd: People who know the right resources and where to find them in order to achieve their success and chase after their goals patiently. They have their steps calculated, they might slowly chase after it, but the time they take is calculating so it means it is almost never wrong to take your time. It gives them time to eliminate the errors and not butt in recklessly. They create their own luck by creating the right choices and choosing the right opportunities. These people have a mission for others, their mission is for us (the other people) to take note and be inspired by their work ethics. These people can get a bit overwhelmed with everything going on and need to be careful to not indulge in the wrong things while taking a break. They have an appreciation and an eye for beauty and aesthetics, their free time can be spent creating something with those skills. We get inspired by them, so we can also let them help us that is a part of their mission too.
Jupiter in the 3rd: Thirsty for knowledge, thirsty and hungry about information. Their brain absorbs it so easily, making their lips the tunnel through which they will pass it on. Their mission is for them to be the Messenger and pass on messages we need to find out about. Communication is very important to them, that is the platform which helps them talk about what makes them sparkle, what makes their heart burn and what ignites the fire of their thoughts. Their curiosity just leads them to the next level. Their sharing is useful and helpful for us. They show up at the right time and place to deliver their messages. Also these people are very caring for their close ones and very helpful. What they need to be careful off is not leave people behind once they need to pursue their mission. To not be afraid to create bonds and take their people with them.
Jupiter in the 4th: Amazing, on point intuition. Leading them and them hearing it, will take them places and help people. Their warmth is undeniable but once they’ve let an opening for you to feel that. These people are here to protect their loved ones, to protect people. To create that homely, warm environment even if they do not have a home. Because these people are that home. Extremely instinctive as well, if they are in a positive place they recongize and listen to their instincts and intuition as I mentioned. Very caring and loving. These are people though, who do not deal well with change and they should be careful not to attach themselves so much, pardon me, the better expression would be for them not to depend on these people. Because Jupiter in the 4th people can become very independent if they work on it, their bonds will forever stay they just do not need to depend on those people.
Jupiter in the 5th: The romantics of the group. Someone who sees with feelings and as some say through rose-tinted glasses. Someone who gives a lot and expects nothing in returns. Someone whose mission is to give and encourage people to be themselves and feel. Someone who is a breath of fresh air, so playful and warm it feels like you are talking with someone so bright you cannot even see their face clearly because they are shining. These people are also extremely creative, being so in touch with their emotions helps them think differently and feel differently which enables them to create things. Sometimes when put in a negative place they forget to relax and rest their spirit, which is something we all need to do. Then they awaken their ego and someone close needs to remind them of who they are, and just slow down a bit.
Jupiter in the 6th: These are people who are very in touch with their spirituality. This creates an opening for them to be very trust-worthy they prove themselves just by existing. Their whole persona is like that. Also their honesty is to thank for, their mission is for them to tell you the truth and let you rely on them. To open your eyes, that is their mission. These are people who are very productive and success comes to them with hard work, this also inspires others. Being so noble and honest earns them respect. Because they are so self-critical, when they hear critics from others they can become very over-protective and defensive if they are In a vulnerable state. So here these people need to relax and think with a cold head, and not to be knocked down by something so simple. Of course the support system they have from people/person will help them get back on their feet.
Jupiter in the 7th: People who are so charming and noticeable. They possess charisma and are very social and can carry their own in a conversation. They are very strong verbally. They are very fair and compromising, they worry about the justice in things and doing things right. That is their mission, to resolve wrongs into rights, to point out the wrongs and look for the justice. When they are in a positive state their mind cannot be clouded and their judgement is very right. Their whole persona is very graceful and elegant, their words are chosen carefully making them brilliant at speeches. When they stumble a bit, as well do, they can become very indecisive and clouds appear around their head. You step down and do some soul searching then, you put your mission on a pause. That is the best thing. You rely on your closest ones.
Jupiter in the 8th: People who are very talented, unconventional. They have different ways of thinking, different ways of expressing and doing things. They also possess very strong intuition that helps them realize their mission. Their mission is uncovering mysteries and discovering the truth, proving points and solving puzzles. Their mind works such ways that they can get to the core of things, their depth helps with that. They are a mystery themselves sometimes. Extremely giving people, very generous. That mystery about them sometimes can distance them from people, because they need time to let people in, to let them closer because they know exactly how this ugly world works. But what they need to do is follow their intuition there too, it will lead them to the right people, because they can read people like a book.
Jupiter in the 9th: Such a free-spirited soul that belongs to no place or a person. Very independent and eager to learn. They are also thirsty for knowledge, but they also want to pass that knowledge on willingly. Their mission is to inspire us to free our spirit and our mind, as well as listen to their philosophies, take them as advice. They are an experienced soul because they let life take them on journeys. They gain wisdom through that, that they need to pass on. They go on with an open mind and heart always, that is the honesty of their existence. What they need to be careful with is family and friends, to not just run off without a warning and taking them along the journey, or just keeping in touch. They do not wanna lose those strong bonds they create with people, just because they rush off on their own.
Jupiter in the 10th: Someone who knows exactly what they are doing. Someone who is aware of their strengths and weaknesses and use that to their advantage. Very mature, which helps them make their right choice. As we all now Jupiter represents luck but, we are all with a mission and Jupiter in the 10th’s mission is to teach us that that luck is our actual work ethic, which needs to be strong and our drive to achieve. These are people who are very kind, and their company is very pleasant and lovely. They are also very helpful. What they need to work on is to consider others’ opinions and feelings on subjects, two heads are better than one, even though we know these people are talented sometimes when they are low they need someone to be of help. Also they need the right people by their side, to help them snap out of their hard-working ways and them falling into the abyss of darkness and depression.
Jupiter in the 11th: People who are very strong, in terms of knowing what they want, how to get it, their thoughts and opinions. People who are warm in a way so they attract a crowd of people, their friendliness is undeniable, plus they are gifted with communication skills making them very social. That ability helps them express their opinions on matters publicly. Their mission is to awaken all of us, society, rebel against the wrongs. Their mission is that of a humanitarian character, to help the collective. They are also very influential, which helps hold their platform. Very kind and helpful too. What they need to work on is realizing that yes, they are capable of doing such great things, but once they open someone’s eyes they need to let them on the team. They forget they are not alone and that is a bit egotistical of them. They need to include help. And of course a solid support system from their loved ones.
Jupiter in the 12th: These are people who are here with the knowledge of the Universe. How everything is determined and how it works, they know it. They are also gifted with strong intuitive and psychic powers, which help them achieve their mission. And their mission is to help people spiritually, help them with their pain, help them open up their eyes to the bigger picture. These are people who are so selfless that is why this mission is perfect for them, because they will take care of everyone first and put themselves last. It is rough, but that is why they create strong bonds with people who will need to put some sense into them and remind them to take a break, gather their thoughts and have some soul searching once they stumble. Very generous also, giving without expecting anything in return. Honest and optimistic, perfect for helping people realize.
Mars in 1st: Unstoppable once they put their mind onto something. Their determination is combined with enthusiasm, everyone around them will be contained with that enthusiasm of theirs, the birth of an idea is such a force to them. A force that keeps them fighting and chasing their goals. The energy they feel and have is unbelievable, it takes on their whole body inside and out, you feel it from a mile away, which is why it is sometimes a bit too much, they come on too strong for some folks. These are people who do not have time to sugar-coat things, who do not have time to waste on beating around the bush, very direct and straight-forward. Their quickness to stay on their feet, their readiness and fire makes them a very prepared leader, they are a warrior, a warrior who stays amongst their people, who does not claim the throne. They might seem arrogant to some, but they really care for the people they are leading. Impulsive, reckless, impatient. Loyal, fiery, enthusiastic, strong, brave.
Mars in 2nd: Someone who takes it slower than Mars is used to, but the 2nd house needs to make sure everything clicks and works out, so they will have a very sure successful end. Serious in their approach, very meticulous, you want to make sure everything is done right the first time. Definitely a hard-worker, definitely someone who pays attention and climbs the ladder slowly but surely. Very focused on the top and how to get there, their dedicated nature is admiring. But their patience is a big part to getting to the top and how careful they are.
Mars in 3rd: The quickness of the 3rd house and the loud voice of Mars helps them express their ideas, which they have plenty of. Communication is their strongest suit of self-expression and Mars is giving them the right amount of courage to go with. They have a sponge for a brain, they absorb all the information they are curious about, they work through it and store their knowledge, which is always necessary. Their youthful energy brings joy, their enthusiasm is very visible, they get excited and are restless about chasing their dreams and goals. They have clever ways about them, they know how to make controversy help them into climbing up and up, and Mars gifted them boldness to do so. They are also very direct in their approach.
Mars in 4th: Mars gifted you with fierceness and protectiveness, you are a warrior fighting for your closest ones. The compassion and worrying of the 4th house combined with the strength and intensity of Mars might make you dramatic, but you feel everything very strongly and passionately it is only right you have the platform of Mars to express it. It is what makes you fierce, you might seem angry sometimes, but letting that anger flow through something creative is how you can tame it, better yet how it can disappear which is a better option. Be careful not to become too controlling of your life, of your closest ones, you are always concerned about them, but grant yourself freedom first and then them.
Mars in 5th: People who take the best out of life, they notice the beauty of life and want to live it the fullest. The huge heart they have allows them to be sentimental about such moments that bring significance to their life. Very energetic, they possess that fiery ball within themselves, always so active and loud with their whole being. Very exciting, their excitement excites their surroundings, people enjoy their company because it is fun, the little things mean something and you realize this just by hanging out with these people. The warmth and light they bring is infectious and you want more. But this much fire also brings us to competitiveness, their spirit is competitive and they are all about a challenge. They are very creative as well, which helps them climb to the top.
Mars in 6th: High standards, right morals, right place of mind. All of the fierceness and enthusiasm Mars gives you goes into your work, you try to make things work right. 6th house allows you to notice everything, you have the eye for details, which helps you a lot with your work. Your dedication is also a very strong suit that leads you to success. Your mind is really organized, with the Mars fire you have the energy to be organized, to work hard , to be efficient. Your mind is detail-oriented as I mentioned, allowing you to always be thoughtful for your people, those things are really meaningful. Your standards and morals give you the necessary discipline to get to your place securely.
Mars in 7th: Your mind is so quick, to come up with ideas, to stimulate others, to have intellectual conversations, to question. Which is why sometimes it can get cloudy, it can get hard to decide, because you are so great at analyzing points, at seeing things, your brain can get scattered all over the plae. But the fire you hold for everything you believe in is incredible, you argue with such passion, the 7th house allows you verbal strength and Mars allows you the courage to say it, it gives you a voice. Quick to come up with ideas, quick to react, you are restless and fiery. A force to be reckoned with when debating.
Mars in 8th: Constantly looking for answers, which can mean you are sometimes struggling inside. You are wondering about the workings of the Universe, of things people do not talk about a lot. Your emotions are on such a high level, not many people feel that intensely and passionately. While you are looking for those answers, you are so caught up within yourself, you give off that mystery, you give off a vibe that you are hard to understand or even touch. Strong instincts. Someone who is secretive, someone who is very introspective, someone who fights and protects what is theirs, sometimes it can mean being possessive. Someone who is real and vulnerable, but independent.
Mars in 9th: Very straight-forward, feels strongly about their opinions, but their mind is always open to discover new truths, new perspectives and gather that knowledge. Their curiousity also allows them to pick up different things, but their fiery nature allows them to fight for their cause, to fight for the truth. They do not sugar-coat things, they are blunt, but their bluntness does not make them mean, they are actually very kind and humorous, it is a joy being around them they will try their best to make you laugh. Playfulness is also a strong suit, it is always an adventure being accompanied by them.
Mars in 10th: Image, career all very important things to these people. So driven, so determined to get there. Their dedication and focus are something that inspires us all to do our best. These people are rocks we are so comfortable to rely on, they are our strong pillar that keeps us grounded. They work slowly but hard, they are careful of everything, their mind is strategic and they are meticulous. Their loyalty and sense of morality are strong suits that keep them at the top. Trustworthy and responsible. They approach all things In life seriously.
Mars in 11th: They cannot stand injustice, they have the necessary courage and drive to work through that and of course that irresistible 11th house rebellion. They have a strong sense of what is wrong and right and they lead their life with that. They are different, they think steps ahead, they think very far ahead with the intend on helping everyone develop as a collective. Very generous, giving, sacrificing for the betterment for everyone. You can never know what will happen next with them, their unpredictability makes them always relevant and interesting. Their special workings of their brain helps them to solve problems, to come up with different ideas. They are unique and eccentric. An inspiration to all.
Mars in 12th: These are people who may have a problem expressing their sensitivity, but are vulnerable and emotional, they turn to helping other people so much, while forgetting their own problems or rather avoiding them. They need to resolve their passive-aggressive behavior, it is conflicting but definitely something they can work on. That will give them the necessary confidence to embrace what they are an emotional, sensitive but confident person. Mars also gives them the courage to express themselves freely, to keep their mind open at all times.
