Hello Diana how are you. You blog is such a gift! Thank for all the wonderful knowledge and advice you give. I wanted to ask if you have a spell or advice to clean an object from someone’s bad energy? I inherited some beautiful jewelry from my aunt. And I love it. But I can’t bring myself to wear it. Not even to touch it much. You see her husband gave my aunt this jewelry and he was an awful, despicable man. In my opinion Anyways. Thank you and have a wonderful day, Sara. ❤️

I do not cleanse objects. I claim them.

Every time I receive something significant secondhand – jewels, talismans, tarot decks – I formally welcome it to my life.

Taking it to my sacred space and holding it in my hands, I introduce myself.

“My name is Diana... a servant of the Fates... a child of Venus... a Plutonian witch. I am now your sole master.”

I let it know what my intentions are.

“I rarely wear a necklace. But you will not be neglected. I will turn you into an amulet. So you can guard my home when I am not there to look after it.”

I declare my commands.

“Hold on to the strengths of your previous owners. But release anything that could prevent you from fulfilling your new purpose.”

And I tell it what to expect as a reward for its obedience.

“If you ever felt mistreated, it will never happen again. In return for your loyalty, you will be regarded as treasure.”

Then I wait for its reply.

Jewelry gleams, as if nodding to agree. Talismans vibrate or become hotter in your hand. That is how they respond. Tarot, by make, is far more articulate.

Finally, I write down its name in a catalog – an inventory of all my sacred properties. The ink makes the contract binding.

Hi love! Thank you for all the work you do — your blog is incredible. I wanted to ask you about offerings. I know you mentioned dark chocolate when you do personal readings; what else do you use for offerings, and can you talk about them in general? I haven't seen anything about offerings on your blog, so my apologies if you answered this already! Thank you so much!

What You Can Offer the Old Gods

They do not live on mortal land. We kindly summon them to us. So before every offering, ask, “Will this be worth their journey or not?”

FOOD THAT SATISFIES

During a ritual or ceremony, offer them a full course meal, complete with fruit, meat, bread and wine. Something abundant, fragrant and befitting a god.

FOOD THAT IMPRESSES

When you come across unique food, give them some. Luxurious chocolates… a specialty from a city you visited… Anything worthy of their interest.

FOOD THAT TOUCHES

Each time you bake, give the first batch to the gods. Even if your sweets are nothing too remarkable or elegant, it is your effort that you offer.

OBJECTS THAT HONOR

A silver arrow for Diana. A porcelain shell for Venus. A music box for Apollo. Anything related to the gods’ identity, or whatever reflects their personality.

OBJECTS THAT CONNECT

A tarot deck… a scrying mirror… a rune set… Any conduit for visions or messages. Offer it up to the gods, so that they may speak to you through it.

OBJECTS THAT ENDEAR

A poem for Mercury… your trophy for Mars… your medal for Saturn… Even cheap items, if they mean something to you, will be something to them too.

Moon in Capricorn;

Capricorn is a mountainous and rocky land. In the Zodiac’s planet, it corresponds to the region closest to the sky, set above the clouds and distant from all other realms. When the Moon is in Capricorn, she feels very uncomfortable; she’s able to see Cancer down below, gently embraced by familiar sea waves. From up here, her home seems very small and fragile, and she misses it deeply. But, for now, the Moon’s got to wear Saturn’s crown and reign fiercely from the top of the world.

image

A Capricorn Moon symbolizes the meeting of two opposing energies, producing the need to find balance in one’s emotional realm. The individual may feel constantly polarized between being sensitive and unbreakable, experiencing intense feelings but not really expressing them as they come. In Capricorn, the Moon’s waters flow swiftly on rocky ground, suddenly dropping into vigorous waterfalls that strike whatever’s on their way below with little to no mercy; the Moon in Capricorn represents a mature and sturdy approach to all obstacles in life (which are generally not few), and so the Capricorn Moon individual has been blessed with the emotional strength to overcome all difficulties they may find in their path with the resilience that other Moons do not have.

As children, these people were taught the value of honour and responsibility, and the maternal figure was probably very quick to teach the child how full of hardships the world can be, passing forward their knowledge on how to overcome calamities and dangerous situations. As an adult, the Capricorn Moon individual may find it very difficult to express their sensitive and fragile form, for they were probably taught, since very young, that they must deal cautiously with everything around them.

Reigning with dominance and authority from Capricorn’s mountains, this Moon loves proving her worth through her ability to work. Thus, those with Moon in Capricorn have an emotional inclination to assert their importance in society and to convey images of competence and skill in whatever they may value, stablishing intimate ties with their objectives and their career. They’re polite, honourable and sincere, with little sympathy for reckless attitudes.

Moreover, in Capricorn, the Moon’s waters are contained at the centre of the mountain. Intense emotions and passionate feelings are restrained and are generally unable to come to the surface. Saturn’s throne teaches the Moon that great things and achievements generally take a lot of effort and a lot of time to manifest, but the Moon also teaches Saturn that success and power are unachievable without the emotional security to actually go out in the world and conquer one’s objectives and dreams. This placement offers the individual both the watery shield and the earthy sword with which they can make their own way onwards to seize their objectives.

Upon a throne carved out of the mountain’s rocky walls, the Moon rules severely. She seems to have aged quite a bit, and she doesn’t look at us so fondly anymore. Her feelings are enclosed in herself, accommodated in Time’s calm embrace. She’s wiser, stronger now.

the many faces of saturn

the archetypes have many faces. mercury is not just about being a tricker and the moon doesn’t cry all the time. we’re predisposed to seeing mostly those faces of the archetypes which are strongly expressed in our chart and often remain blind to the rest.

how do archetypes express their different sides most clearly? through aspects. in this post, i’m gonna go quickly over the expressions of saturn, one of the most multifaceted gods. it’s very easy to conclude saturn is one-dimensional and lacks complexity since it’s an archetype known for its connection to limitations and respect for clear and direct laws and authority. that’s why we often forget how complicated structures, one of the main things associated to the saturn archetype, are.

saturn is also connected to conflict. yes, we’re used to think about mars when it comes to confrontations or about mercury when it comes to arguments and debates. but saturn really steps in when things are about to get tense. this is not the martian way of stepping up face to face to the problem and telling it to shut the fuck up. this is not the mercurian propensity to turn everything into an intellectual butting of heads or the jupiterian inclination for endless philosophical debates where they get the final word. no, this is about friction between two opposing archetypes that you can’t turn away from before you raise your level.

i’m gonna explain this a bit. saturn is, in its very nature, an androgynous archetype. just like mercury. this means it combines two opposing principles - this is also what it teaches us how to do. that’s why when saturn is aspecting a planet, it’s there to teach that planet how to balance its nature with the exact polarity of its nature in order to attain its most perfect and elevated expression. saturn pushes you to gaze into the abyss of the negative expression of every archetype it aspects and to work hard on managing it and containing it. and to use it for your own good rather than just run from it.

that’s why saturn demands conflict. it doesn’t let you turn away from the tension and it keeps you in its chokehold. “choke me daddy”, as the memes would say lmao

let’s have a look at the polarities it underlines when it aspects the planets.

sun in aspect to saturn - expression of the self vs control of the self. if you consciously develop the sun more or it’s more dominant in your chart, you’re going to rebuke anything you perceive as an attempt to restrict your self-expression, identity, and needs of the ego. if you consciously develop saturn more or it’s more prominent in your chart, you’re going to suffocate your desire to shine and express yourself authentically and to live feeling as if you’re not fulfilling your creative & individual potential. the key to balance is use control on the self not as a form of restriction but as a way to direct your growth and expression in the direction that you authentically feel inclined to take.

moon in aspect to saturn - nurturing the inner child vs telling it to behave. if you consciously develop the moon more or it’s more prominent in your chart, you’re going to expect everyone to baby you and go around calling everyone who isn’t eager to be your emotional slave “toxic” - you might also focus hard on meeting everyone else’s emotional needs and on making them feel completely comfortable, thus disregarding your own comfort. if you consciously develop saturn more or it’s more dominant in your chart, you’re going to scold yourself for every emotional expression or even for feeling anything and to expect the world to always treat you coldly, which will make you react to it with the same harshness. there will be a feeling of “the world is hostile so it’s not safe for my soft parts to be out there”. the key to balance is to let yourself feel emotions without trying to restrict them or encourage them in the process and to take a more analytical approach afterwards when you decide whether you need to provoke more of this feeling in your life or to learn how to avoid it.

mercury in aspect to saturn - theory vs practice. also known as intellect vs experience. if you consciously develop mercury more or it’s more prominent in your chart, you are going to focus too much on rationalizing things and analyzing them, leaving behind any practical understanding of the matter. if you consciously develop saturn more or it’s more dominant in your chart, you will scoff at people who don’t have substance behind their theories and speak without experiencing something first. you may be inclined to disregard the power of the mind and to be the kind of person that wants material proof of everything and “won’t believe it until i see it”. the key to balance is to accept the importance of both functions and to put them to work together - theorize boldly but then try to apply it in practice or freely analyze your experience in order to crystallize their essence.

venus in aspect to saturn - loving yourself & others as they are vs pushing yourself/them to be better so you/they are deserving of love. if you consciously develop venus more or it’s more dominant in your chart, you’re going to lack the drive to develop your gifts because you’re going to feel like what you have now is enough. there is a tendency to stay in bad relationships because it’s easy for you to see the beauty in everyone and to not demand anything better. if you consciously develop saturn more or it’s more prominent in your chart, you’re going to struggle with maintaining a healthy self-esteem and you’ll find it extremely difficult to love and accept yourself. you’re going to feel like you’re never good enough - the same might be seen in your relationships with other people, you’re often focusing on their weaknesses and pushing them to be better, forgetting to celebrate their strengths. the key to balance is to learn the importance of every stage in life and that living in the present is vital for creating the future - love the Self that lives in the now because she is the creator of the Self you’d love to be in the future. the artist is just as important as the artwork and in the end, they are one and they have been one all along.

mars in aspect to saturn - acting on impulse vs planning. if you consciously develop mars more or it’s more prominent in your chart, you’re going to look down on all sorts of thought out and structured long-term investments and actions and lack impulse control, acting mostly on your instinctive drive. if you consciously develop saturn more or it’s more prominent in your chart, you’re going to feel your impulsive drive constantly restricted and as if you constantly have to restrain your instinctive urges like some sort of wild animal. there is a difficulty in starting any action. the key to balance is learn how to harness the impulse so it can drive the plan forward. know yourself better and learn how your impulses arise and why - then be prepared to use them when it happens in a way that benefits your goals.

jupiter in aspect to saturn - puer aeternus (the eternal boy) vs the old man. if you consciously develop jupiter more or it’s more prominent in the chart, you’re going to experience difficulties settling down and being responsible, you’re going to feel as if everything is trying to “tie you down” and is an obstacle to your personal freedom. if you consciously develop saturn more or it’s more dominant in your chart, you’re going to purposefully restrict your freedom and constantly create structures and hierarchies that give you the feeling of stability that you crave. a part of you, the part of unlimited creative potential, may feel suffocated. the key to balance is to understand they are both sides of the same coin and can’t live without one another. the old man can teach the eternal boy how to realize his creative potential and the eternal boy can help the old man reconnect with that part of us that feels free and just experiences life without judgement or limitations.

uranus in aspect to saturn - the perfect world of the spirit and the mind vs the flawed and mortal world of matter and physical incarnation. if you consciously develop uranus more or it’s more dominant in your chart, you’re going to seek out an escape or a way to defeat the messy world of emotions and matter and you will live mostly in your head, denying yourself the rest of life. if you consciously develop saturn more or it’s more prominent in your chart, you’re going to try to castrate the immortal and limitless world of ideas and abstractions and to deny yourself the power of rebellion against the prison of matter. the key to balance is to channel the hunger for perfection into incarnating physically that world of ideas and abstractions - can be through your work or your art. this is a generational aspect so it affects on a less personal level.

neptune in aspect to saturn - perception vs judgement. if you consciously develop neptune more or it’s more dominant in your chart, you’re focusing too much on understanding others and putting yourself in their shoes. this emphasized connection to the entirety of the human consciousness may drain you and leave you unable to define and defend your own boundaries, to choose what is good for you as opposed to what is good for others - sometimes we all need to make that choice if we don’t wanna turn into doormats. and this kind of behavior can be extremely damaging for the people around you too, not just yourself. if you consciously develop saturn more or it’s more prominent in your chart, you’re going to put effort into shutting yourself away from anything that makes you feel connected to the whole and a part of everything. you may be too cautious of who you let close to you and who you approve of in general and to judge everything harshly, thinking everyone is always out to get you. the key to balance is to perceive the world in its wholeness and to judge what is best for every part of the whole, realizing that everyone deserves to be happy and satisfied without someone having to sacrifice themselves for it. this is a generational aspect so it affects on a less personal level.

pluto in aspect to saturn - tearing yourself down vs building yourself up. if you consciously develop pluto more or it’s more dominant in your chart, you’re going to always seek out for ways to destroy yourself even by creating drama and harmful situations/relationships for yourself in order to become someone else, someone stronger and more powerful. if you consciously develop saturn more or it’s more prominent in your chart, you will be stuck on bettering and maintaining structures that are no longer necessary or useful just because you don’t want to destroy what you’ve invested time & effort in. the key to balance is to work on knowing yourself better so you can pick which structures of your life/personality are needed and which aren’t and to fearlessly destroy those that serve no purpose, building the new ones from scratch. this is a generational aspect so it affects on a less personal level.

ascendant in aspect to saturn - who you are vs who you think you should be. there is a limiting quality to your self-expression and fear of being judged for behaving in a way that’s not approved by whoever you see as an authority. if you consciously develop your ascendant more or it’s stronger in your chart, you may develop quite a scandalous reputation or appear as someone inconsiderate and uncooperative. you may give off a “i will not give you what you want” vibe that pushes people away subconsciously. if you consciously develop saturn more or it’s more dominant in your chart, you may restrict yourself painfully and feel like you’re suffocating from pretending you’re someone you’re not. you’re the voice of the inner judge that is constantly scolding you for being who you are and giving off the wrong message. the key to balance is in self-reflection - you need to learn how to discern between who someone else wants you to be, who you are and who you want yourself to be. certainly there are traits that others want you to be that you aspire to develop for yourself simply because it will elevate the Self you are now. instead of adopting those traits out of fear for being judged or abandoned or alienated, focus on filtering out those that truly don’t match your authentic desires and on trying to develop those that you find worth in.

north node in aspect to saturn - the road ahead vs blocks and obstacles. if you consciously develop your north node more or it’s more prominent in your chart, you’re going to rush forward to fulfill your life purpose without stopping to learn the lessons that the path is actually paved with. and that sorts of…defeats the purpose. if you consciously develop saturn more or it’s more dominant in your chart, you’ll be so stuck on removing any barier from your way and on dealing with your hardships that you’ll get carried away from actually moving forward and from remembering you have aspirations you wanna reach. the key to balance is to deal with obstacles in the way that the person you imagine yourself to be after fulfilling your life purpose would deal with them. that’s how you become them.

/conjunctions, oppositions and squares will be felt the strongest and demand attention; trines and sextiles are more balanced in general but there is still work to be done; inconjunctions often manifest in your life in ways that you’re not quite aware of and need extra conscious effort to be noticed/

Hello there! Hope you're having a wonderful day ❤️ and also wishing you a very happy new year 🥂 I wanted to ask you if you could suggest some questions that we can ask our deck, when we first get it, for self-readings? Thank you!

When I have a new deck, what I do is not an interview but an agreement.

I overhand shuffle the cards face side up, while telling them my name... what I need them to do for me... and what I promise to do for them in return.

After my every statement, I note the card that lands on top. That is my deck's response.

"My name is Diana. You are mine now."

Card on top is Strength, with the lady petting a lion. My deck is submitting to my authority.

"I need you to speak only with the voice of The Fates and of Venus."

Card on top is the Six of Cups, with a boy handing a gift to a girl. My deck is promising to give me what I asked for.

"Though sometimes, Mars and Pluto speak to me too. Do let them through."

Card on top is Death. The card of Scorpio, whose ancient ruler is Mars and whose modern ruler is Pluto. My deck says yes.

"In exchange, I promise to take care of you."

Card on top is the Two of Cups, with a loving couple. My deck would love that very much.

"You will not rot on a shelf. I will always come to you for help."

Card on top is The Fool, with a man ready to begin. My deck likes the sound of that and cannot wait to start.

"I will not use you in crowded places and on dirty surfaces. You will be highly regarded."

Card on top is the Nine of Pentacles, with a privileged woman safe in her lush garden. Yes, my deck would enjoy being protected and pampered.

"But be careful not to let anyone else through."

Card on top is the Seven of Wands, with a man on the defense. My deck will make sure they cannot enter.

"Unless of course I summon someone in particular."

Card on top is the Knight of Wands, with a traveling knight on a horse. Yes, if someone specific has been called, my deck will open itself to that soul.

"So let us do our first reading."

Card on top is The Sun — a happy child with open arms and nothing on. My deck will gladly tell me all I need to know. There are no truths it will not show.

The Source and the Queen of Heaven

The supreme deity has always existed, long before anything else came into being. They are called the Source, who began as a formless consciousness of radiant light and consisted of both masculine and feminine energy. The Source is not Jehovah, for they are just and truly benevolent, unlike the tyrant war-god. The Source holds within themself infinite love, power, and wisdom; always using these in order to rule over all creation in the most balanced way. When the Source had decided to begin creation, they took their feminine energy and transformed it into a second version of themselves called the Queen of Heaven. While they are both One deity in essence, the supreme goddess is independent from the supreme god and do not act exactly the same. Despite this, they share consciousnesses and so are aware of each other’s perspectives at the same time as their own; which means that they have dual consciousness.

The Mother and Father are usually formless, but may rarely choose to manifest as extremely tall golden humanoids of light and with a gemstone on their chests. Despite this, one must never associate them or portray them in altars as humanoid, as this is limiting of who they are and is seen as disrespectful. With the eventual creation of humans and other races, the Source and Queen of Heaven came to be known by several different names. The Source has been called names such as Brahman (Hindu), Atum (Egyptian), and Olodumare (Yoruba); the Queen of Heaven has been known as Adi Parashakti, Sophia, and Mary. They are in no way associated with the Abrahamic religions since these were perpetuated by the false god, Jehovah, who was greedy and sought to overshadow every other deity. Not only this, but the supreme Mother and Father are strongly against the majority of teachings in these religions and view them as manipulative and unhealthy. Not only this, but they would never command the genocides of millions of people just to expand religions; the Abrahamic religions however were built upon the bones and dismantled temples of the polytheists.

The Process of Creation: In order to create, the Queen of Heaven became the consort of the Source and together, created the Gods of Gods within the Void. Among these immensely powerful deities are Ptah (the Architect), Nemesis (retribution), Ouranus (heavens/daylight), and Erebus (darkness). The Architect, Ptah, then assisted in creating the greater gods, who work under the Gods of Gods and assist in many things for creation. The greater gods include deities such as the Outer Gods, Nyx (night), Hypnos (dreams and sleep), Fortuna (providence), and the Aeonic deities. The Aeons are the deities who create the physical and metaphysical Universes; their kind consists of the Ogdoad (mentioned in Egyptian texts), as well as Amun and Jehovah. The greater deities are incredibly powerful, but not nearly as much as the Gods of Gods, whose powers are almost infinite. Additionally, the higher in the hierarchy of divinity a god is, the far more complex and incomprehensible they become.

The Source and Queen of Heaven then assist in creating Universes alongside Ptah and the Aeons. When a Universe is formed, it is like a radiant sphere (hence them being called “golden eggs” or “cosmic eggs”). Once completed by having laws placed within them by Ptah and all other necessary components, the cosmic egg bursts open, allowing the Universe to unfold. For our Universe, this sudden blast of creation created our cosmos and the first Universal deity- Phanes (Lucifer), who brought light. The other deity who was born from this explosion was Eros, but he had a different destiny and so came into being within the Void instead of the Universe. It was only many eternities later that Eros created a smaller and less-powerful copy of himself to be born to Aphrodite so he could interact within the Universe as well.

Another deity who came from this explosion shortly afterwards was Philotes, the daughter of Nyx (night) and Ouranus (the heavens/daylight). The goddess Philotes is the one who brought unity into the Universe and is the very force of the element of gravity which holds everything together (from the celestial bodies to the particles of matter). She is also the force which helps bring people into harmony and experience love of all kinds. Eris (her half-sister) was born as her opposite in order to keep balance within the Universe; she targets unity in order to bring about chaos, strife, and separation. While the Source/Queen of Heaven embody pure Love, they allow painful things to occur since they say that evolution cannot exist within perfection; we need obstacles to overcome in order to develop as beings and grow wise. Thus, the Universe acts as a place of learning through adversity.
