The Hunt Series
Adeline could still feel it, the sharp teeth sinking into her ankle, the fear that made her cry and sweat, the heat brushing against her exposed neck, and the weight of the beast pinning her down into the wet dirt. Helpless, scared, confused, feeling it all at once has left her hysterical, nearly pissing her pants, running from the darkness that clouded her mind. my review on life so far:
★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
one of my favourite things in the world is casual intimacy. a small hand on your back when you’re in crowded streets. a gentle kick from where they’re sitting across the table. a head on the shoulder, a hand in your hand, a squeeze on the arm as they’re walking past you. and i think maybe love isn’t made up of grand gestures or explosive displays but that it’s made up of the little things. the little things that say i’m here and i care for you and that your life has intertwined so deeply into mine that that there’s no need to think, because casual intimacy comes easy
lonely girls my beloved. i see you staying in your room, i see you standing in grocery store aisles feeling the sudden wave of isolation wash over you. i understand how badly you want and how bad that makes you feel. i get it. we're not alone. but we are.
It’s okay to be a beginner at the things you are interested in. There is no reason to feel intimidated by people more advanced than you are, because they too were in your place at one point. Keep learning and growing and expanding in whatever it is that you love and let nothing and no one stop you. You don’t have to be at the same stage as someone else. You can just be at your stage and that one is okay too.
I need a soul vacation.
