kuboyasu and saiko childhood au (?)

I was thinking, what if they accidentally meet when saiko and his father visit kuboyasus hometown for business inquiries for 3 weeks. saiko sneaks out and gets lost, stumbling upon the peasant area, and finds kuboyasu. they eventually started to meet up nearly every day and bond. (with saiko still being as stubborn as ever, of course) but one of his servants/maids found out and stopped him from going out to see a peasant. but that didn't stop him, though. when he did try to go see kuboyasu, he wasn't anywhere to be seen. it's been a few days, and saiko was going to give up until he found kuboyasu laying all bloody and bruised up -- fluff and angsttt??!

ough... can't get the thoughts of saiko playing the violin out of my head... 😣 or a music au, kuboyasu playing the bass or the electric guitar auuughhh.. maybe I should doodle that someday.
