I had a tattoo client ask if I ever used AI to design tattoos for me. Man I spent the better part of a decade doing shitty bit work as a graphic designer and now that I have the space to do whatever I want, I'm gonna let the computer generate random garbage for me? What next should I have a computer that eats my dinner and fucks my wife?

When I was at Comic Con I got to have this awesome conversation with @babsdraws/@babsbabsbabs (artist of the new Batgirl series) about diversity and inclusion in comics and comic book movies. Can't exactly recall the conversation, but overall it made me hopeful for the future.

In 2007, Steve Jobs stood on stage, listing the benefits of Apple’s then-new iPhone touchscreen. “You can do multi-finger gestures on it,” he said, moving his hands back and forth in the now-familiar pinch-to-zoom motion. Then he paused, and his expression changed. “And boy, have we patented it.” The crowd laughed and began applauding as the word “Patented!” appeared on the screen behind him.
