crow friend 2: friend of crow friend
crow friend!
I used a crow from the game Mysterium as a reference.
Decided to try my hand at animating some song lyrics!
Audio: The Squip Song - Be More Chill
[ID: a stop-motion style video, starting with a blank index card and a red pen. Words appear in red and dark blue lettering as the lyrics are sung. Geometric designs fill up blank spaces. By the end of the video, the index card is filled up.
Lyrics read: “Freshman year / I didn’t have a girlfriend or a clue. / I was a loser just like you. / Good times would only / soar by.” END ID]
Could you do the asexual flag for a dice embroidery?
I actually already did, as part of the ace & aro set that I’m posting today! I also tried a different style with that one.
If anyone is interested in buying d20 pride patches, please let me know!
Flourishing with Posca markers!
ID under the cut:
[ID: two pictures of brightly colored calligraphy. The first says “Equia” in orange ink. The capital E is elaborately flourished, and the rest of the word is decorated as well. The second picture shows three calligraphy pieces: “Anikka” in dark blue and purple, “Nitya” in light green and light blue, and “Lucy” in light and dark green. The last two are decorated with paisley patterns in their accent colors. END ID]
Recently, I’ve been playing with the idea of hiding messages in art. This is a quote from my writing project:
Blue text: “Do you ever wonder, Ardan, how a story ends?”
Red text (response): “I’ll write my own damn destiny.”
Hi lovely! Your work is so beautiful and inspiring! Can I ask what material you use as a base for your patches? 🤍
Thank you!
I make all of my patches using stiff felt and standard embroidery floss.
The first in what will hopefully be a series of platonic love song calligraphy pieces!
Please send me song recs, these are hard to find! (Bonus points if the song is explicitly written for a friend or family member.)
[ID: song lyrics written out in purple and blue. It reads:
“From Poprocks & Coke - Green Day:
I don’t care if you don’t mind / I’ll be there, not far behind / I will dare, keep in mind / I’ll be there for you.”
The line “I’ll be there for you” is done in flourished calligraphy, the rest in all-caps lettering. The border is decorated with blue hearts and lightning bolts.]
I saw seven birds...
Platonic love songs, part 2! Thanks to @overcaffeinated-aro for the song recommendation: Talk to Me by Cavetown!
[ID: a calligraphy piece covering a full sheet of off-white resumé paper. Written in dull gold ink, it reads: “We can talk here on the floor, on the phone if you’d prefer...” The words ‘floor’ and ‘prefer’ are larger and bolder than the rest. Around the text, detailed paisley designs in white ink fill up the empty spaces.]
