Mini announcement !!!! (and rant?)

Uhm this is quite unexpected but I'm going on a hiatus for this account. Again. I'll be back in June, or possibly July. I am unable to answer the art requests if that's okay. I'm very sorry for that.

School is keeping me busier and this whole semester is starting to feel so cramped. I don't think I can do anything else other than school work for now. it's draining. It's interfering with my plans outside of school too and that pisses me off. 🙄 I hate having to sacrifice my most top priorities just for studying. I feel like I haven't gotten enough rest. It's starting to feel like havoc and I think I need to detox from EVERYTHING real quick or else I'll go insane.

oh my lordy art block has been beating me up for a month🥀🥀

anyway piano man has been stuck in my head for like a week and i just needed to get this out

I'm thinking of making a short fic series (will outline for now) where it's basically dialogue in a modern setting where it's the gang (Rafal, Rhian, James, Midas, Kyma, and later the main series, hopefully) where they drink and eat. This is my excuse to write about food, cocktails, and elegance.

So far, I've been thinking of a tea chapter, an alcohol chapter, and a coffee chapter.

A lot of it includes super high alcohol tolerance Midas (Who happens to be one of the only people that doesn't come to the event in his own car), Karen Rafal, Wine Aunt Sophie, Tipsy wine connoisseur Rhian, And Debates on whether James or Midas are richer, jobless Aladdin who has to beg from either, Agatha and Midas being annoyed with the insanity of everything around them, Rafal is a secret chocoholic and he likes "tea pastries" more or less, Tedros is the most social around but always says the wrong thing and YES this will be Mifal (Rafal is so CHEAP that despite the fact Midas actually gives Rafal a lot of money biweekly for himself and that Rafal has some stocks, well actually Midas does it for him, but oh well, Rafal always finds a way for others to spend money for him or give him hand me downs.)

I was fighting demons while trying to properly shade Midas' curls and pick out a colour. Nonetheless I LOVED drawing this!! I also gave him dangling earrings bc I thought it would look cool.

Honestly we need more Midas content. He deserves some love 🙏🏻

Very quick sketch about how I think Agatha might have looked like (during the beginning of book 1).

Wanted to make her hair extra choppy and thin, since I headcanon her as being a very anxious mess, and with self-esteem so low she doesn't care about her hair.

Basically, she has the bad, bad habit of brushing her hair with force (ends up breaking it and It thins out her hair), and no vanity to take proper care.

When it gets too long to be practical (in her opinion) she just chops it off with whatever.

Anyways, probably going to draw her in more detail soon??? Dunno? If my hands comply
