Date a demisexual who is still figuring out other aspects of their sexuality (aka, I pretty much came out as possibly pansexual/panromantic)
It’s crazy how one text would make a difference
There’s a reason why introverts aren’t usually particularly fond of parties—too much stimulation and small talk, but not enough authenticity and quiet. And yet, like most things in life, sometimes parties are inevitable. So, why do we do it? Why do we spend long Friday nights out feeling lonelier than when we’re alone? Because despite hating the peer pressure we face making bad decisions, we hate not participating even more. We hate not knowing. But there are ways to make good decisions and enjoy parties, rather than seeing them as mere social obligations. Psych2Go shares with you 6 ways to survive parties as an introvert:
1. Know when it’s worth it to go out.
It’s okay to be selective about which parties to attend. In fact, it’s smart to choose what works best for you. You don’t have to go to every event you’re invited to. It’s similar to dating. If we spent all our time trying to date everyone, it would lose meaning. We’re not compatible with every person that we meet, and the same applies to parties. It’s okay to skip out on weddings, dinners, and social gatherings to people you barely know…
I edited together all the clips of Dylan singing Frozen. Watch till the end.
You’re welcome.
Could you maybe write a hc about the whole "soutsides going to Riverdale high" thing that's about to happen? Where the reader is a Northsider and dating sweet pea? Thank you!
Hope you’ll enjoy it! I had so much fun writing it!! xox
•You were in art class, trying to paint Ronnie who couldn’t stop moving when you heard it.
•Principal Weatherbee announcing that Southside high was shut down and the southsiders were going to join Riverdale high.
•Everyone in your class started panicking. Most of your classmates were the kids of important people in Riverdale. They were in Riverdale High for a reason. Northsiders feared the southside. Drugs, gangs, crimes and young delinquents.
•Everyone was whispering about how the school was going to be dangerous now that the southsiders were here.
•The only person who wasn’t going crazy was you.
•You smiled, thinking about your boyfriend Sweet Pea.
•You two were like the cliché movie couple. The nice girl from a wealthy family and the badboy with a messed up childhood. You had fallen in love a few years ago on a cold night of november. He had saved you from other boys who were messing with you as you walked home. His tall figure scaring them away.
•Ever since that night, You two never left eachothers side.
•You were so excited for him to come to your school, you knew that deep down, behind all his hate for the northside, he was happy about seeing your smile everyday.
•You were talking with Kevin and Betty in the halls when everyone quieted down and looked down the hall.
•The serpents.
•Jughead was leading them, Toni and Fangs behind him. It took you a second to find Sweet Pea. He was taller than everyone afterall.
•Everyone took a few steps back to let them pass. They were intimidated by them with their leather jackets and their badass faces.
•Sweet Pea was looking around, searching for you. When he saw you, he smiled and walked towards you.
•You ran to him, your hair floating behind you and jumped into his arms, wrapping your arms around his neck. He had to bend a bit because if he didn’t, you wouldn’t have been able to reach him.
•"Hey kitten.. Weren’t expecting such a surprise were you?“ He whispered into your ear.
•A few students around you gasped seeing you jump in this serpent’s arms. They started saying mean things but Sweet Pea told you to ignore them.
•"She’s dating this gang member?!”
•"Wow.. Her future is ruined. He won’t give her a good life.“
•"Is she gonna join the serpents now??”
•Sweets took your hand and lead you outside in the garden.
•"Don’t listen to them okay.. I’m with you now and look at my new schedule.. I asked for a few modifications.“ He smiled, showing you the paper.
•"We’re in the same classes?!”
•"I had to be extra nice to get it changed. But it was all worth it.“
•"I love you!” You said, kissing him.
•School with Sweets was like a dream.
•You two sharing a locker. Him having the top shelf and you having the bottom one.
•Every time you would be bored in class, you would turn around and look at the back of the class to see Sweet Pea staring at you.
•Being lab partners.
•Him writing notes on small pieces of paper and giving them to you in class.
•«Next bell. You. Me. Locker rooms.»
•Meeting him in the locker rooms so you could makeout in private.
•Him borrowing your school books because he can’t afford them.
•Him driving you home on his bike every night.
•Study dates at his trailer.
•Doing oral presentations together and him being super nervous for this little and simple thing.
•Him not being able to throw a ball at you while playing dodge ball in gym class because you’re his little kitten.
•Leaving cute notes in your shared locker.
•School being so much better with him around.
•"The northside isn’t that bad when you’re here..“ He’d say, smirking.
My friend with depression, please don't do it. There's a reason you're here. Cry not cut. Write it out. Think of something that makes you happy, contact someone who makes you happy. Please don't leave this Earth yet. I know it's shitty but there's always something to make it less shittier.
I have nothing for today but, here’s Phillip. He cares about everyone, you should care about yourself too.
