Stories about us, by us. This has been true from the Sugar Hill Gang, to Tupac & Biggie, to Lauryn Hill, to Nas, to Lupe Fiasco, to Jay Z, to Sista Souljah, to Beyoncé. Congratulations to Kendrick Lamar on a well deserved Pulitzer Prize. This makes up for that time Macklemore “won” best rapper.
