Something new

It's been a year now,

I bow you a goodbye and turn around

I'm not going to lie that I don't miss you anymore

But, that is just something I've got to live with.

I take my steps towards something new.

I can still feel your blessings from afar

Something new that doesn't include you

Something new that you can't see or talk about anymore

That something new is hollow without you now

But that's just something I have got to live with.

I wish you were here for my something new
