I decided my resolution for this year is to attempt to draw something every week. This is so I can start practicing art more. "Draw something" is vague so I don't get overwhelmed. It can be as simple or extravagant as I want. I just wanna try more and I thought I would upload some here. Hopefully I can keep this up all year, but I won't force myself if I end up not wanting to. Here is this months art:

I was trying out some side profiles and they don't look bad, but I should keep practicing. The creature on the top started as one of the side profiles. A very simple drawing of Raku-chan from Nyan~ Neko Sugar girls. Cant really tell its her when she isn't colored in, but I like it. A little orko drawing. This last one is an unfinished part of a "base challenge" I did with my friend. The only reason the body looks passible is because I had the base to draw over. The head is a slightly diffrent shape from the base, but the base definitely helped me draw a normal sized head. The hand is on purpose, I think its funny to draw hands badly. Which is probably why my normal hands are still bad. The coloring is very flat, but I had fun. It remined me of how I used to color with colored pencils back when I was younger. It actually took me multiple days to do all of that. Even though it looks real simple I tried very hard. I suppose that's how you get better in the long run. If I keep up though out the year, maybe I'll get faster at drawing. I'm lucky my friend has such good patience. I hope this post reads more earnest than dumb. Well that's all for now, I really had fun and it helped me feel better during these "not so nice times" to put it lightly.

Day 7: Free day

I wanted this to be a redraw of one of my favorite drawings from my banana fish artbook as otasune. I ended up combining two of them a little together.

I had to rush it at the end because I took forever drawing the inside of the helicopter. But, day 1 of @mgsevents otasune week done.
