types of girls: skies

[this is a bit… dark, but i made it for the girls who aren’t sunshine-and-rainbows like most posts like these are for]

pink sky: cotton candy, winged eyeliner, dirty jokes, running through fields, cute buttons on a leather jacket, getting drunk at 2am, sugar-coated peanuts, black nail polish, sweet smiles

blue sky: old movies, the atmosphere when it’s dusk, dissociating, coping with your problems by never thinking about them, rain, instrumentals from songs, unrequited love, old soul, the feeling of decaying, soft hearts

orange sky: whiskey, never talking about it, was careless in the past, old 80s synth pop, the word “rancid”, sickly sweet, harsh make-up, longs for a childhood, clunky shoes, jewelery,

yellow sky: heartbreak, birds in the morning, wants to recover, gullible, mature because of trauma, confused about a lot, fake smile, yellow converse, sunflowers, sobbing into pillows, pills, the dreamy haze when you’re high

purple sky: loud music, blocking the world out, yells a lot, black lipstick, dark chocolate, neon lights, black coffee, open about emotions, heart of gold, wants to be loved, plays electric guitar, reckless, never taught how to love people

white sky: pondering at 2am, being alone with your thoughts, cloudy heads, dancing in the rain, whispers, acoustic music, sleeping through therapy, old shoe laces, recovery

A concept

Brian wanting to paint something awesome for noah and asking jude for help because let’s be honest the boy can’t even draw a straight line. And Jude gets so excited !!!! She gathers pamphlets and art books and tries to teach him a billion techniques he can’t even begin to comprehend and he’s just! so! lost! He spends a week working on 5 different sketches and “ohmygod jude they’re terrible, i’m terrible, i don’t know how you two do it, i should have sticked to sports. Do you think he’d like a signed ball??? Or maybe a telescope??” Oscar just laughs because god damn of course picasso would fall in love with a guy who can’t tell the difference between the color yellow and the color mustard. In the end, he ends up giving Noah a simple pencil drawing of him and noah star gazing with smudges all over bc he’s left handed and the struggle is real. he writes a tiny ‘i love you’ in the corner of the paper with a smiley face bc he’s a fucking dork like that and he’s so embarrased when he gives it to Noah like srsly he can’t even look at him. But even though it’s kinda terrible and it looks like it was done by a 9-year-old in sweetwine standards, Noah absolutely loves it. And late at night he stares at it and tries to hold back tears because jesus he has spent so much of his time drawing and painting the world and the people around him and no one besides his sister had ever taken the time to draw something JUST FOR HIM. and of course he spends the rest of the week grinning ,feeling like he’s walking on clouds and god he’s honestly considering having it framed????? and he’s so so glad he isn’t a horse because he loves that rock-collecting baseball-playing boy so damn much and he doesn’t know where he would be without him.

Types of people

Canvas - always sick, carries around a lot of stuff, jazz music in the background, curly hair, earth tones, statues, eye bags, running to class because you woke up late, rarely shaving, wanting a pet, bar stools instead of chairs, smiling at strangers

Seed - long fingernails, v neck shirts, wearing multiple necklaces, speaking to yourself in different languages, forgetting your lunch at home, decorated sneakers, arguing with siblings, getting scared by the microwave noise, reading without music playing

Pulp - purple pens, singing the wrong lyrics, broken zippers, reckless decisions at 3am, waking up at dawn and playing on your phone, hoodies over jackets, learning a new instrument, headaches in the evening, taking pictures of fireworks that you’ll never look at again

Font - writing long ranty letters, sleeping in public spaces, messy eyeglass lenses, light blue sweatshirts, poor posture, taking off uncomfy shoes after a long day, talking to yourself in the shower, dnd sessions, jingling bells on keychains, the smell of sunscreen

Lantern - hesitant arm touches, sleeping with multiple blankets, awkward conversations with strangers, faking confidence, ice cream during the winter, brightly coloured rain boots, cracked seashells, saving ticket stubs, random freckles, forgetting to drink water, enamel pins

Bristle - short eyelashes, delaying responsibilities, peach tea, humming while you walk, hair covering face, drawing on school desks, stickers everywhere, black headphones, streetlights on the walk home, lying in the grass, jackets in the summertime

Lemon - playing your music out loud in public, wrinkled dress clothes, speaking up, warm summer nights, never wearing makeup, slow runner, heather grey t-shirts, dozens of open tabs, a friend’s selfie as your background, making too much coffee

Types of people as jackets

Leather jacket - Messy hair, earbuds are always in and usually glares at you from across the room, but mostly just for aesthetic. A very loyal friend and always down for an adventure

Trenchcoat - Keeps to themselves, is bloody brilliant but never lets you know, very logical and a bit hesitant to do something dangerous. Can formulate a sure-fire plan like nobody’s business.

Bomber - Super hot and oh-so sarcastic. Rebellious at night, but pretty chill during the day. Causes trouble and looks great while doing it

Rain coat - Very playful and fun to be around. Will sit with you outside on any day, sun or rain, and loves plants and flowers. Probably collects succulents or something

Jean jacket - Crazy-good artist, and never leaves the house without art supplies. Won’t let you see their work because they don’t think it looks any good, but in actuality it’s pretty amazing

Tracksuit - Wears sporty clothing, but only for comfort. Never actually leaves the house, lives off of Cheez-Its and Ramen noodles, and surfs the internet at all times. A true homebody who can binge an entire Netflix series in two days

Military jacket - Usually very sweet, but will murder anyone who looks at their friends the wrong way. A bit clingy, but it’s just because they love you. Will defend their opinions and the people they care about, loyal to the very end

Hoodie - Major douchebag, practically a fuqboi/girl, nobody trusts them. Makes up lies about you for the drama, doesn’t know when to leave someone alone. Calls themselves “trash”

Pea coat - Super stylish and kind of talkative, and will always help someone with a fashion crisis. A bit loud and can’t keep a secret, but will never turn their back on you

Windbreaker - The sporty one who can outrun literally everybody, and there is absolutely no sport they won’t dominate at. Super nice, will stay with you as you finish that extra lap, or gives you pointers on shooting hoops, a great friend who never breaks a sweat

How are lupin and Sirius going to celebrate Valentine's Day?

im glad u asked! im actually writing a drabble about this just now. 

- sirius (obviously) LOVES valentine’s day and insists on going as over the top as he can every single time

- remus is NOT A FAN of valentine’s day, or emotions in general tbh

- but this year, sirius and remus have been going through a rocky stage of their relationship; arguing constantly about every little thing and not talking to each other for days. because of this, sirius has been really down and moody recently and doesn’t plan anything for valentine’s as he doesn’t see the point

- moony, however, hasn’t forgotten the past years and how much effort sirius likes to put into getting gifts for him, so he knows he has to do something

- it is common knowledge that remus cannot cook to save his life. he’s actually been banned from the kitchen by lily because of an incident involving some toast, so he knows he can’t make a nice meal like he wants to (sirius doesn’t like going out to eat because he gets uncomfortable eating in front of others)

- so remus is panicking for ideas and of course turns to the love guru himself, james

- after fangirling extensively over how stressed remus is getting about trying to do something nice for sirius, james points out the obvious - sirius is the soppiest person alive and likes to spend valentine’s like he’s starring in a rom-com movie. as well as this, sirius is also the biggest pizza-slut on earth, so put two and two together and remus knows what to do

- it’s very simple, and at first he’s worried that it’ll be a let down compared to what sirius would have planned himself, but remus settles on ordering sirius’ favourite pizza, filling the room with sirius’ favourite mulled-wine candles, and buying the most Extra bunch of red roses he can find 

- when sirius gets home that evening, remus is shitting himself with self-doubt, but nevertheless he puts on sirius’ fave bowie album and goes to meet him at the door

- it seems to take forever for sirius to take it all in, and for a second remus thinks that he’s Fucked Up because sirius literally just stares at the candles, at remus, at the roses he’s holding, and says nothing

- but when remus kisses him on the cheek and hands him the flowers, there are tears brimming in sirius’ eyes, because after all the arguments and the doubt and the harsh words from both of them, sirius knows his moony loves him, because remus would never do anything like this for anyone else

- starman has never been the best song to slow dance to, but sirius insists that no cliched romantic evening is complete without a slow dance, and remus can’t exactly say no

- basically remus forgets his hatred of feelings and spends the entire evening telling sirius that he loves him while sirius cries because he’s so happy. there is lots of cuddling and playing with hair and forehead kisses 

- also the next day sirius literally takes the bunch of roses outside and walks around with them hoping that someone asks where he got them from so he can rant endlessly about how he has THE BEST BOYFRIEND IN THE WORLD WHO IS MOST DEFINITELY BETTER THAN YOURS
