lilacs: freshly fallen snow, slow kisses, old perfume bottles, silky hair, late mornings, the sea, meaningful looks, always buying new books, high heels, embroidery, the ‘maybe in another life’ kind of love.
hydrangeas: blueberry ice creams, sparkly nail polish, staring at the moon, doodling, jeans jackets, enjoying your own company, silver rings, long walks in the park, flavored cigarettes.
tulips: scented candles, lazy afternoons, lying in bed, chipped nail polish, loud laughs, meeting somebody for the first time, knotted headphones, golden highlighter, staring at the clouds.
lilies: cobbled roads, midnight snacks, beat up converse, hanging out with your friends, matte eyeshadows, trying to help as many people as you can, freshly picked apples, colorful patches.
forget-me-nots: bell bottom pants, pastels, abandoned beaches, headbands, cheek kisses, jeweled earrings, soft skin, the sound of rain, suede boots, old diaries, holding hands with someone you love.
hyacinths: dusty books, sunlight, dancing in your room, new stationary, long showers, ankle cuff jeans, trying new things,90’s music, loose curls, gold necklaces, staying up far too late.

“Feminism killed chivalry” like…no it didn’t? If anything, feminism encourages chivalry.
Out in public with the guys and one of your friends makes a sexist comment about a female friend/stranger? Rise to her defense. She’s a human being and she doesn’t exist for you. She exists only for herself. You won’t tolerate this kind of talk.
At a bar or club, and you see a man slip something in to a drink/relentlessly pursuing a woman despite her many protests? Tell him to knock it the hell off. Get her out of this situation safely. He’s an enemy of women, which means he’s an enemy of yours if this code of chivalry means so much to you.
If you insist on being a warrior for women, then be a warrior for women. Listen to the things that we say and need and ask for.

Agent Clint Barton "You wanna make amends? Then you get off your ass." *I tried.
Your roommate is literally the Devil. Surprisingly, he is the best roommate you ever had.
Graduating from high school is bittersweet - on the one hand, you’re leaving a place where all your friends are, where your teachers have helped your intellectual capabilities thrive as much as possible; and on the other hand, you’re entering a new stage of your life, one where you’re expected to be an adult, and one where responsibilities are actually serious.
Treasure the moments you’re living now, because you’ll never know when they’ll fly by. I regret not doing that. And I regret not reaching out to more people before it was too late. I grew too close to too many people in these last days of high school, which is unfortunate, because the chances of us seeing each other in uni are slim.
Here’s to the future!
