INTRO: SERENDIPITY THEORY

𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐈: 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐍 ⚡

Today on full moon in Ashwini I would like to shed some light on this archetype associated with Ashwini that I've noticed both in real life & media.

Ashwini being the first Nakshatra in the cycle (even though there's a different pov) compares to the first major arcana card of the magician.

The magician is an expression of pure willpower, it takes the resources available to itself & moulds it into whatever it wants to manifest.

(Note that traditionally magician is associated with Mithun Rashi, but for this post, I wanted to bring in a fresh perspective)

Ashwini is to me, pure energy of consciousness. The ketuvian "void" from where every creation spurs. It's comparable to Malkuth in the tree of life, the roots of all creation, the emptiness & inherent potential.

Even the Rashi ruler of Mesha being Mangal is associated with the Muladhara/root chakra, the energy centre that energies/nourishes all other chakras. Mangal is symbolic of our willpower to take action & create our own reality from scratch. Similar to Magician.

Ashwini's mode of being (Guna) is rajas-rajas-rajas. Rajas = mode of creation. Further highlighting the very creative nature of this Nakshatra.

The most prominent example of the Ashwini Magician Archetype in the modern world would be Nikola Tesla, inventor of AC current. It is said that almost 80-90% of the technology we use today is one way or another is his contribution. He encouraged us to think about everything in terms of energy & frequency.

A prominent theme for Ashwini in Films & Animations is something similar. A scientist, a loner genius, the "creator" archetype.

The professor in "power puff girls" was voiced by Ashwini sun.

Senku from "Dr Stone" (VA: Ashwini moon) embodies this Magician Archetype by literally rebuilding the world after a catastrophic event that turned entire humanity into stones. After a regression to the stone age, now senku has to reinvent every technology to further humankind.

Shaktis of The Nakshatras

Each Nakshatra has its particular power or Shakti. These are also the powers of the Devatas or the deities that rule them. Each of these shaktis has various effects described metaphorically as “above” and “below” and a final effect. The symbols used are those of common factors such as plants, healing, worship, marriage and death. This is a teaching that derives from an ancient Vedic text called Taittiriya Brahmana I.5.1 and from the medieval commentary of Bhattabhaskara Mishra. Ashwini – 00 00–13 20 Aries Ashwini is governed by the Ashwins, the twin horsemen. It has the power to quickly reach things (shidhra vyapani shakti). Its basis above is the creatures to be healed. Its basis below is the healing therapies. From these three, the entire world becomes free of disease. Bharani – 13 20–26 40 Aries Bharani is ruled by Yama, the God of Death. It has the power to take things away (apabharani shakti). Its basis above is the removal of life from the body. Its basis below is the carrying of the soul to the realm of the ancestors. By the combination of these three factors, creatures move on to the next world. Krittika – 26 40 Aries –10 00 Taurus Krittika is ruled by Agni, the God of Fire. It has the power to burn (dahana shakti) and to purify. Its basis above is heat and below is light. The result of these three is burning or purification. Rohini – 10 00–23 20 Taurus

Rohini is ruled by Prajapati, the Creator or Lord of Creatures. Its power is growth (rohana shakti). Its basis above is the plants and below is the waters. The result of these three is creation. Mrigashira – 23 20 Taurus–06 40 Gemini Mrigashira is ruled by Soma, the God of the Moon and the immortal nectar. Its power is giving fulfillment (prinana shakti). Its basis above is extension. Its basis below is weaving (producing clothing), creating a tapestry, like a beautiful cloth, to make our life more attractive. Punarvasu – 2- 00 Gemini–03 20 Cancer Punarvasu is ruled by Aditi, the Great Mother Goddess. Its power is the ability to gain wealth or substance (vasutva prapana shakti). Its basis above is the wind or air. Its basis below is wetness or rain. These bring about the revitalization of the plants. Pushya – 03 20–16 40 Cancer

Pushya is ruled by Brihaspati, the God of Divine wisdom. Its power is the ability to create spiritual energy (brahmavarchasa shakti). Its basis above is sacrificial worship. Its basis below is the worshipper. These result in the creation of spiritual energy. Aslesha – 16 40–30 00 Cancer Aslesha is ruled by the serpent God. It has the power to inflict with poison (visasleshana shakti). Its basis above is the approach of the serpent. Its basis below is trembling and agitation. These together bring about destruction of the victim. Magha – 00 00 Leo–13 20 Leo

Magha is ruled by the Ancestors. Its basis above is mourning. Its basis below is leaving the body (tyage kshepani shakti). These together bring about death. Purva Phalguni – 13 20–26 40 Leo  Purva Phalguni in the Vedic order is ruled by Aryaman, the God of contracts and unions, though later it was shifted Bhaga, the solar deity of happiness. It gives the power of procreation (prajanana shakti). Its basis above is the wife or the female partner. Its basis below is the male or masculine partner. These together bring about the creation of the fetus. Uttara Phalguni – 26 40 Virgo–10 00 Virgo Uttara Phalguni in the Vedic order is ruled by Bhaga, the God of happiness, though later it was shifted to Aryaman, the God of contracts and unions. Its power is the giving of prosperity (chayani shakti) through marriage or union. Its basis above is the wealth gained from ones own family. Its basis below is the wealth gained from ones partner. These together bring about the accumulation of wealth. Hasta – 10 00-23 20 Virgo Hasta is ruled by Savitar, the creative, inspirational and transformative form of the Sun God. Its power is the ability to gain what we are seeking and place it in our own hands (hasta sthapaniya agama shakti). Its basis above is the seeking of gain. Its basis below is the process of gaining. These together place what one wishes to gain in ones own hands. Chitra – 23 20 Virgo–06 40 Libra

Chitra is ruled by Tvashtar, the Cosmic craftsman. Its power is the ability to accumulate merit in life (punya cayani shakti). Its basis above is the law. Its basis below is the truth. Through these, the worker is able to gain honor in his work. Swati – 06 40–20 00 Libra Swati is ruled by Vayu, the God of the Wind. It gives the power to scatter like the wind (pradhvamsa shakti). Its basis above is moving in various directions. Its basis below is change of form. The result of these is transformation. Vishakha – 20 00 Libra–00 3 20 Scorpio Vishakha is ruled by Indra and Agni, who represent the powers of heat and lightning in the atmosphere. It gives the power to achieve many and various fruits in life (vyapana shakti). Its basis above is plowing or cultivation. Its basis below is the harvest. These give us the fruit of the harvest. Anuradha – 03 20 Scorpio–16 40 Scorpio Anuradha is ruled by Mitra, the Divine Friend. It gives the power of worship (radhana shakti). Its basis above is ascension. Its basis below is descension. From these honor and abundance are gained.

Jyeshta – 16 40 – 30 00 Scorpio Jyeshta is ruled by Indra, the ruler of the Gods. It has the power to rise, conquer and gain courage in battle (arohana shakti). Its basis above is attack and its basis below is defense. The result of these is that one becomes a hero. Mula –  00 00–13 20 Sagittarius Mula is ruled by Nirriti, the Goddess of destruction. It has the power to ruin or destroy. Its basis above is breaking things apart (barhana shakti). Its basis below is crushing things. Through these one gains the power to destroy destruction. Purvashadha – 13 20–26 40 Sagittarius Purvashadha is ruled by the Waters (Apas). Its power is that of invigoration (varchograhana shakti). Its basis above is strength. Its basis below is connection. Through these one gains lustre.

Uttarashadha – 26 40 Sagittarius–10 00 Capricorn Uttarashadha is ruled by the Universal Gods (Vishvedevas). Its power is to grant an unchallengeable victory (apradhrisya shakti). Its basis above is the strength to win. Its basis below is the goal that one can win. From these one becomes the unchallenged winner Shravana – 10 00–23 20 Capricorn Shravana is ruled by Vishnu, the preserver among the great trinity of Hindu deities, here in his form of Trivikrama, who measures the universe with three great strides. Its power is that of connection (samhanana shakti). Its basis above is seeking. Its basis below is the paths. The result of these three is the connection of all things together. Dhanishta – 23 20 Capricorn–06 40 Aquarius  Dhanishta is ruled by the eight Vasus, the Gods of abundance that rule the earthly sphere. Its power is to give abundance and fame (khyapayitri shakti). Its basis above is birth. Its basis below is prosperity. These three give the power to bring people together. Shatabhishak – 06 40 –20 00 Aquarius

Shatabhishak is ruled by Varuna, the God of the cosmic waters. It has the power of healing (bheshaja shakti), which reflects upon its name as Shatabhishak or holding a hundred medicines. Its basis above is extension or pervasiveness overall. Its basis below is the support of all. These three make the world free of calamity. Purva Bhadra – 20 00 Aquarius–03 20 Pisces Purva Bhadra is ruled by Aja Ekapad, the one-footed serpent or goat. It gives the fire to raise a spiritual person up in life (yajamana udyamana shakti). Its basis above is the good of all. Its basis below is what is good for the Gods. These cause the entire world to be supported. Uttara Bhadra – 03 20–16 40 Pisces Uttara Bhadra is ruled by Ahir Budhnya, the serpent of the depths of the atmosphere. Its power is the bringing of the rain (varshodyamana shakti). Its basis above is the raining clouds. Its basis below growing of the plants. From these three factors, the three worlds gain their stability. Revati – 16 40–30 00 Pisces

Revati is governed by Pushan, the nourishing form of the Sun God, sometimes identified with the power of seeing. It has the power of nourishment symbolized by milk (kshiradyapani shakti). Its basis above is the cows. Its basis below is the calves. These three bring about the nourishment of the entire world

Aries Rahu - Libra Ketu Transit: a new cycle begins

Aries/Mesh represents 1H, sunrise, the birth, the body & self.

Libra/Tula represents 7H, sunset, death, other people, mirror reflection of self

꧁ Obsession with body, health & fitness ꧂

Great time to change diet, introduce a new gym routine, getting into martial arts & dancing.

Great time to educate ourselves on health & nutrition.

Specially Ashwini Ketu would be a time for miraculous/fast healing. I think we all need some healing after a pandemic.

There could be a tendency to over rationalize healthy vs unhealthy. Getting obsessed with creating a healthy lifestyle aesthetic instead of doing the work.

Sign of Aries relates to the female reproductive organ specially Bharani being symbolized by Yoni itself. Reproductive rights under attack might be due to this transit indicated by the Bharani eclipse. That is forcing people to fight for Women's rights.

This is a great time to be more mindful of our reproductive health & heal your cycle. More awareness & debate around this topic can be seen.

Many people would be tempted to go under the knife to reduce some parts of themselves during Aries Rahu. Especially during Krittika Rahu 🔥💉

Don't get carried away though, decision taken under nodal influence often brings regret.

Be careful of cuts, bruises & accidents during this time. Mars rules over these things.

Many people would change up their appearance, especially experiment with hairstyles & color. As Rahu is the head of the dragon, people would prefer martian red color hair.

Ketu would separate us from illusions built around relationships, all the idealization & rose-tinted glasses would come off & you’d see the other person for who they actually are.

Many celebrity marriages falling apart & people witnessing it live could be due to Libra Ketu. As Ketu rules separation & Libra rules marriage.

More people would get married during this time & some would finally realize marriage/romantic love isn’t their cup of tea.

꧁ Lack of communal harmony & violence ꧂

Libra Ketu would make many people detached from 'other people' & lack a sense of community. This can result in war & violence (Aries Rahu) among different communities or even within the same community. Many people are going to act more selfish & not ready to listen to a different perspective. Me vs them mentality would be overly dominant during this Aries-Libra transit.

I think we're already seeing this in form of the Ukrain-Russia War, Hindu-Muslim Danga etc. Political violence would be prominent during these times.

Public is going to act more hot-headed than usual. Be careful not to mess with the wrong people. Don’t f*ck around if you don't wish to find out 😂

On another note, Libra Ketu is a great time for cults & communes to thrive. People are going to desperately search for a place to belong, a sense of community. Be careful not to get brainwashed into a cult. Internet mob culture would be getting stronger.

Ketu in Libra is a great time to revisit past artworks / take inspiration from those who came before us. BTS got the assignment & making an album which is a tribute to their journey by far.

This could be a great time for gothic art as well. As both libra & Ketu are very gothic by nature. Libra rules the color Black & Libra natives have a love for gothic aesthetics due to venus association with death.

I think many celebs going for black n white/funeral inspired look on Met Gala is due to libra Ketu. It could've been executed much better.

This can be a great time for period dramas/films. Something that makes us relive the past.

Overall people are going to feel detached from Venusian things like art & entertainment. Not the best time for the entertainment and glamour industry.

Another thing I can see with Libra Ketu is people using astrology, spirituality etc as an 'aesthetic'. Esoteric topics becoming more mainstream. I wrote this before the news about Mcdonald's giving free tarot reading... Totally not excited to see esoteric topics becoming a commodity.

꧁ Market & investment ꧂

Libra rules market place, there’s a possibility of a market crash. I don’t think this is a good time for investments unless your current Dasha is so good it overrules a general transit.

I think NFTs getting stolen is due to Libra Ketu as well. Crypto/NFT etc are very Rahuvian/Libra-ish in nature. So they can get a hit during this transit. { I've written this before the crypto crash further proving my suspicion }

Money related fraud might come to light during this time, so be careful with your black money 😂

Other random thoughts:

MBTI & psychology getting more popular, especially during Bharani Rahu. As Curl Jung & Freud both being Bharani. Although most people would stay on the surface level.

Aries celebs would blow up further & would be the talk of the town like Amber, Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Chris Rock etc for better or for the worse spotlight is on Aries folks.

This is a good time for technological advancement & innovation, especially in the power sector. Ref to my Ashwini post.

Not really the best time for the glamour world. Many frauds & deceits coming to light.

Overall this transit is like a karmic reset, a start of a new cycle as Aries is the 1st sign of the Zodiac belt. This transit is going to bring a lot of news & beginnings, let's make the foundation strong so that something beautiful can flourish.

In BST we see Jungkook lying on bed enjoying his Lolipop 🍭  Bed of Purva Phalguni represents Bliss & Pleasure as it's in Leo (5H of pleasure) & ruled by Bhaga (God of Bliss & Happiness)

Main symbol of Purva Phalguni is the Love Bed. Although upon researching & contemplating some more I've realised it's not just Bed pleasures but also all 12H themes like sleep, Astral realm, dreams & isolation. Purva Phalgunis love to incorporate these themes in their Art.

Jungkook in "Begin" uses these thems of bed. He's seen dreaming ; a nightmare perhaps & wakes up to rain outside.

That brings me to second point of Rain symbolism. As we might've noticed Jungkook has a fascination with Rain & loves to incorporate it in his Art. He even has Cloud & Thunder Tattoo.

Out of 12 Adityas (Solar Deities) God of Rain & Thunder Rules over Month of Phalguna (month of Purva Phalguni full moon)

We see rain imagery in his "Still with you" & "Begin".

This Swinging upside down sequence during Wings ear sparked my curiosity about what could it mean.

From what I found swing symbolises

💜 Nostalgia & Childhood innocence

💜 Being free & uninhibited

💜 Swinging back n forth - at the crossroad of decision making

Swinging Hammock is a symbol of Purva Phalguni. Symbolising rest, contemplation & rejuvenation.

It also has connection with Leo /5H house of children symbolising Childhood innocence & uninhibited enjoyment as mentioned above about swing symbolism.

In "Wings" Jungkook is young Sinclair (Protagonist of Demian) who's at crossroad of making a decision between Good or Evil. Purva Phalguni symbolises similar dilemma as it's symbolised by Fruit bearing Tree 🌳🍎 Once you take a bite of this fruit you cannot go back to simple innocent times of "garden of eden" like childhood.

He's also seen with a Lolipop 🍭 in BST

We see "Lament of Icarus" painting in the back of swing. Icarus tells us about a strory of a boy who flew too close to the sun that his wings made of wax melted & he fell on the sea.

As Leo is Mooltrikona of Sun. We're faced with this temptation of being Close to Sun & Reach highest point possible. Bird of Magha & Purva Phalguni is Eagle , flying closest to the Sun & Heavens.

This is obviously a cautionary tale to not let our pride get the best of us & always stay closer to ground & find a balance between flying high & low. Finding a balance between Heavens & Earth, Spirit & Matter. So that we might not lose our soul (sun) in earthly pursuits nor get burned by sun by being overly ambitious in our pursuit of greatness.

We see Wheel symbol in both Wings & YNWA. Jungkook with wheel symbol is BST & sequence with carousel in Spring Day.

Magha being 10th Nakshatra correlates to "Wheel of fortune" being 10th major arcana card in tarot. Overall Magha relates to "Death" & End of a cycle so something new can "Begin". "Wheel of Fortune" to relates to cyclic nature of life & death, or the seasons of life. What goes up must go down (like Icarus). A king must die for a new king to take the Throne (throne is a symbol of Magha)

𝑫𝑬𝑨𝑻𝑯 & 𝑴𝑶𝑼𝑹𝑵𝑰𝑵𝑮

Magha has power to "leave the body" & is ruled by Pitris the Forefathers or Ancestors. Pitris leads the souls afterlife where they can be judged by Yama (God of Justice) based on their deeds & given punishment or reward.

In BU Jungkook's character is speculated to be dead after an unfortunate car accident.

After Death he went to Pitri Loka (Magha Loka) Land of Dead & Ansestors. Magha loka is below earthy realm but directly above Alternate Paradise Naga loka (Where Nagas, Deity of Ashlesha resides)

We see that Jungkook is always looking after his Hyungs as a spirit guide after his death. He's always seen keeping an eye on them while being in a dark or underground place.

We see his members bid him a farewell in "Spring Day" (released during Purva Phalguni moon). Month of Phalguna is Spring Season. Signifies a new beginning after the "Death" stage of Magha.

We even see them hanging shoes (12H) on a Tree (Purva Phalguni 🌳) as a farewell ritual, so that soul (sun) can embrak on it's journey to afterlife (magha)

Every member got something from the "magic shop" in exchange of something else. We see that jungkook enters empty handed & gets a key from the shop. What did he exchange for the key? Most possible answer is - himself.

In Fake love, Jungkook is seen near a lantern & a pile of sand. Lantern is symbol of "Soul of Ancestors" & Sand is symbol of Ashes / Remaining of past / Ancestors. As he takes the sand in his hands (in a gesture of prayer) the sand vanishes in thin air. As a letting go of the past / performing a farewell ritual.

In "ON" we see a crow taking bite from a fallen Jungkook. Crows are symbol of Ancestors. Feeding crows are similar to offering to ancestors. As if Jungkook is offering himself (similar to what he did in "Magic Shop"). Highlighting the self sacrificing nature of Magha. Ready to offer themselves for upholding honor & acquiring the lost paradise or throne

Jungkook was presented as Persephone in MAMA VCR. Persephone is Goddess of underworld (relates to Magha loka being underworld) & Spring (Purva Phalguni) opposite of Phalguni , Bhadrapada represents the Hades Archetype.

At the  end  of  a divine age,  the gods  came  together  to  divide up  the surplus shares  of sacrifices  they had  received.  The eagerness  to  enjoy made  them feel that  they could  leave Rudra  out  of  the  divvy. 

When Rudra Found out he became ferocious & attacked the Gods who dared to over indulge. He plucked out eyes of Bhaga for lustfully using them. Visual impairment is a theme relates to Phalgunis.

We see this concept in BST where Yoongi (uphal moon) is holding a blind fold & Jimin (uphal rising) is holding an apple (Phalguni means fruit bearing tree) signifying the temptation of giving into sin.

When Jimin takes off his blind fold we see tears shedding from his eyes.

Ouroboros

The Ouroboros is a Greek word meaning “tail devourer,” and is one of the oldest mystical symbols in the world. It can be perceived as enveloping itself, where the past (the tail) appears to disappear but really moves into an inner domain or reality, vanishing from view but still existing.

The ouroboros has several meanings interwoven into it. Foremost is the symbolism of the serpent biting, devouring, or eating its own tail. This symbolizes the cyclic Nature of the Universe: creation out of destruction, Life out of Death. The ouroboros eats its own tail to sustain its life, in an eternal cycle of renewal. It is sometimes depicted in a lemniscate shape (figure eight) as well.

The Serpent biting its own tail is first seen as early as 1600 years BC in Egypt as a symbol of the sun, and represented the travels of the sun disk. From there it moved to the Phonecians and then to the Greeks, who gave it its name, Ouroboros, which means devouring its tail.

In mythology, the Oroborus is a symbol representing the Milky Way galaxy. Myth refers to a serpent of light residing in the heavens. The Milky Way is this serpent, and viewed at galactic central point near Sagittarius, this serpent eats its own tail. Many ancients used the galaxy to calculate cosmic and earth cycles.

It is found in Gnosticism and alchemy representing cyclical natural life and the fusion of opposites. It also symbolizes the transcendence of duality and was related to the solar God Abraxas, and signified eternity and the soul of the world.

In alchemy, it represents the spirit of Mercury (the substance that permeates all matter), and symbolizes continuous renewal (a snake is often a symbol of resurrection, as it appears to be continually reborn as it sheds its skin.), the cycle of life and death, and harmony of opposites. As a symbol of the eternal unity of all things, the cycle of birth and death from which the alchemist sought release and liberation. It unites opposites: the conscious and unconscious mind. Alchemically, the ouroboros is also used as a purifying glyph.

The alchemical textbook, Chrysopoeia (gold making) of Kleopatra contains a drawing of the ouroboros representing the serpent as half light and half dark, echoing symbols such as the Yin Yang, which illustrates the dual nature of all things, but more importantly, that these opposites are not in conflict. The book is mainly centered around the idea of “one is all,” a concept that is related to hermetic wisdom.

History

The Ouroboros appears in many other cultures and settings as well…the Serpent Jormungand of Norse legend, one of the three children of Loki and Angrboda, grew so large that it could encircle the world and grasp its tail in its teeth. It guarded the Tree of Life, and is often depicted as an ouroboros. 

The Aztec serpent God Queztacoatl was depicted similarly, and Chinese alchemical dragons have both similar shapes and meaning. 

In Hindu, you have the dragon circling the tortoise which supports the four elephants that carry the world.
