Hey guys I deleted a lot of the posts on this blog and probably won't be posting for a really long time. Social media has been bad for my ""art"" because I always feel like I need to rush myself, then end up having nothing good to post anyway. On top of that I'm in the midst of a quarterlife crisis and a cancer scare and a timeline shift and and.

By the way, it's snowing buckets on the gulf coast for the first time since the 1960's. (We've had much smaller amounts of snow in my lifetime, though.) I've gone MIA from my office job and will be walking around in it all day.

We started from Houston to Los Angeles on Sunday morning. First night we stayed in El Paso, second night in Phoenix, third night we got to my cousin's new LA apartment. Once you get out of New Mexico, the desert is gourgeous because there's no billboards. Then the moment you cross into California on I-10, there's palm trees everywhere. Truly a loony toons-esque state line transition. LA reminds me of Houston in that the suburbs feel endless. But the area her apartment is in is walkable and the houses are nice.

My biological family are here and apparently they're loaded. I'm going to some exclusive restaurant tonight. Like Dorsia from American Psycho or whatever.
