Bam trying to work with FUG like
Thinking about how Bam has been dehumanized multiple times by people and the system in Tower of God, only seeing him as a weapon or a monster. We even get from Rachel that his own mom saw him as a monster. And now his father is doing the exact same thing.
His parents only ever saw him as a vessel for revenge. They don’t care about Bam himself.
And the fact that this is happening in front of Khun and Endorsi, the two people who’ve purported Bam’s existence as his own is even more insane. They have to watch the one they love be puppeted around by a random ass man

i definitely don’t visit khun’s relationship wiki page just to read this over and over again and cry 🥰
the fun thing about Arlene is that I think she truly loved her child, that child just isn’t Baam, at the very least not to her.
y'know we all clown bam for his fashion choices but we can't forget that ha jinsung buys all of his clothes and you know his google search history looks like this
you get something very interesting when you tie together bam’s terrifying, god-like existence and his desire to be “human” or to “belong”
he faces this dilemma of being called/deemed a “human” for a long time but the more he begins to exist outside of the cave and meet more people and realize what’s “normal” the more he realizes he’s way too different from everyone else to really “belong” with them
it’s an isolating feeling but it gets even worse when his connection to his humanity grows even thinner due to FUG’s influence on him and attempts to make him their god. people around him start to fear him or revere him– they no longer see him as human but as a natural disaster
characters like these usually wholeheartedly accept the concept of being a monster and go on w/ their lives accepting they’ll never be human but bam’s different cuz his desire to “belong” and “be with his friends” stands above all else and this involves being a human and not god but it’s super hard to do this considering his reputation. his very being is considered abnormal and branded as irregular in the tower– he will NEVER be normal or “human” in the eyes of so many people in the tower and bam’s gotten so close to thinking the same
but khun does his best to keep bam grounded. he recognizes bam as both an incredibly powerful individual, and also doubtlessly human in how he thinks, desires and feels. he might be god-like in terms of strength but he has the emotional limits of a human. khun never lets that go and whereas other people easily disregard’s bam’s feelings for the sake of using him for a certain goal, khun always tries to be considerate of bam and treat him as an individual rather than a glorified war machine
anyways i think ideally bam should accept the fact he is definitely, in some ways, a monster, but he also definitely has a human side to him that he can’t ignore or else he’ll break entirely
