i would kill for some more shibisu-wangnan interactions because their personalities are so similar - i.e. they’re both natural born leaders and the emotional glue that holds their respective teams together - but shibisu has a 200 iq and wangnan canonically can’t do basic math
i know they had their reasons but it really was fucked up of team shibisu to greet bam for the first time in years with “hey so you know that organization and identity that heavily traumatized you and treated you like an object that we freed you from? could you go back to doing that for us? pretty pretty please?”
enryu is such a concept like ive never seen the guy but he just said fuck jahad and proceeded to kill an entire floor that was comprised of jahad worshippers then he killed a guardian, created the thorn somehow and then fucking bolted he really said this is your issue now i did my fair share c'mon guys put in your weight
He’s too precious and I love him
bam’s selfishness is one of my favorite character contradictions and is also in general a really good take on the “selfless chosen one” and “hero who wants to save everyone”. people are not going to like me calling bam selfish, but he is. at different times in the series he’s selfish enough to want to save everyone, selfish enough to put himself first, selfish enough to pretend he wants to save everyone, and selfish enough to put first the people he cares about even at the detriment of strangers. the moral inconsistencies caused by the disconnect between his innate compassion and the inherent selfishness that comes with being a human is one of the most fascinating and most nuanced things about him, giving him a depth that’s not really seen in action protags with their moral superiority.
Somewhere someone paid their five yen for more height difference khunbam and their wish was heard loud and clear
bam: *is bleeding out*
khun: quick, what’s your type?
bam: uh..... blue hair, blue eyes, intelligent, sarcastic, really generous deep down....
khun: ... YOUR BLOOD TYPE YOU IDIOT
bam: oh.
bam:
bam: red
the fun thing about Arlene is that I think she truly loved her child, that child just isn’t Baam, at the very least not to her.
