i hope the anonymous person who sent the "i used to live in your house. i'm drunk in boston and it's the only address i know. happy holidays" postcard is aware that they wrote my favourite poem

was riding home from work on 59th street when i heard a girl yell  “hey!” behind me. thought i accidentally cut someone off in the street. turned out it was my wife who was also biking home from her office. nyc is such a tiny place sometimes.
