(npc voice) Hey, stay back! I’m warning you… wait a minute… you’re a human! Oh, thank goodness, I thought you were another one of those bots! You know, it’s dangerous for a human like you to be walking around these parts without an avatar. Here, let me loan you one of my spares.

(npc Voice) Hey, Stay Back! I’m Warning You… Wait A Minute… You’re A Human! Oh, Thank Goodness,

[ You got the Jigglypuff icon! You can use this to get closer to other humans! ]

There you go, quite cute if I do say so myself. Just remember to be more careful from now on!

what addons do you use for firefox? i've just downloaded it to switch from chrome (derogatory)

firefox (affectionate)

UBlock Origin obviously. out-the-box works just fine but has a bunch of extra privacy/tracking/spam filters you can enable

Decentraleyes protects you against tracking through "free" curated content delivery and works alongside UBlock (or any of the other common adblocking addons)

I Don't Care About Cookies good for EU users where GDPR made it so every site ever in the universe asks you to accept cookies and privacy terms seventeen times a day. will just auto-accept for you. never see an annoying popup again! but only use in conjunction with...

Cookie Auto Delete does what it says on the tin. will automatically flush cookies, cache, and data when you close a tab. those cookies you just auto accepted? they're gone now. whitelist any sites you wanna stay logged in on and let the rest fucking perish

Don't Track Me Google removes that annoying link conversion when you copy google results. you know when it changes from "site.com" to "encrypted.google.com/randomnonsensefor200charactersblahblahblah"? yeah. this stops that happening. fuck off, google.

Don't Accept image/webp blocks sites from using the most useless file extension known to mankind so you can save as .jpg or .gif as god intended. fuck webp. seriously. what even is that.

Bypass Paywalls Clean exactly what you think it is

HTTPS Everywhere automatically adds ecrypted security to any site that supports https (you can do this manually by adding the s yourself to any url but... who can be fuckin bothere amirite? this does it for you)

New XKit ...duh

Google Search Filter allows you to remove domains from your searches forever. pinterest? gone. weheartit? nuked. also works on duckduckgo. never type "-pinterest" into a search again.

Simple Tab Groups allows you to group tabs together and shove them out of sight, which is nice if you're researching something and don't want 50 bajillion jstor tabs clogging up your normal browsing session

The problem the israeli propaganda campaign is having is they kept repeating "unless you know the history you should sit this one out" expecting that would shame people into deference but a lot of people were like ok i'm gonna look into this

A lot of people started following Palestinian and Arab related accounts too

Encouraging people to learn the history seems ultimately detrimental to their cause, quite frankly.

Reply by Codanon @CodySkinnerFan
It's tough that when you look at the history it basically says that the king of England said it was ok to kill Palestinians to make room for Zionist settlers because it would be to uncomfortable to have a lot of Jews in Europe after WW2

But this did work for a long time with a lot of ppl.
What we're witnessing right now is culmination of years or organising from Palestinians and allies, as well as the impact of recent intensive education on anti-racism and colonialism and its legacies.

From River To The Sea Palestine Will Be Free 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸

-----

Edit 1: took the first video down because turns out the animator is a terf and it links to her blog. Really sorry for any distress.

Edit 2: All recommended readings + Haymarket recommendations + essential decolonization texts have been uploaded to my linked gdrive. I will adding more periodically. Please do buy or check them out from the library if possible, but this post was made for and by poor and gatekept Global South bitches like me.

Some have complained about the memes being disrespectful. Making fun of the Israeli government and Zionists is only disrespectful if memeing takes precedence over amplifying and helping Palestinians. If you've been living and breathing images and videos of the genocide for the last month, it's the only thing that stops you burning out.

Edit 3: "The river to the sea" does not mean the expulsion of Jews from Palestine. Believing that is genocide apologia.

Edit 4: Gazans have specifically asked us to stop fundraising and instead put every effort into pushing for a ceasefire. "Raising humanitarian aid" is an appalling grift Western governments are pushing right now to deflect from the fact that they're sending billions to Israel to keep carpet bombing Gazans. This is especially cruel because the blockades are still in place and nothing can get in, even the "humanitarian pause" is just a PR talking point they're dangling in front of us with no intention of follow through, there will never be enough aid for two million people, and all it will accomplish is getting them fed and patched up enough to keep getting slaughtered. Add to the fact that Israel is bombing Red Crescent ambulances, medical teams and UN workers. Aid is meaningless for Gaza without a ceasefire.

Mom said it’s my turn to turn my trope hyperfixation into an AU.

Fusion AU! It doesn’t really have a plot or anything. I just like designing fusions. Through the power of music and science and the flimsy grasp on logic this world already has, anything is possible. Why would they invent a method to fuse? Idk Edega is a stone’s throw away from a full on mad scientist anyways, so why not? Maybe fusions have thematically appropriate powers that are ripe for him to exploit. I’m probably gonna give most fusions nicknames instead of trying to force two names together. Ian and Ada make Doc! Silly, confident, and caring. They fuel each other.

Can robots fuse with people? Probably not. Doesn’t sound very safe to mix flesh and wires. Sorry Mal and all the other robo-interns. They could fuse with each other though.

If anyone wants to see a specific fusion just leave a comment or shoot me an ask. If it catches my fancy I’ll draw it.

Every case of Connectifia Abortus is unique. No two victims share the exact same set of symptoms. It almost feels personalized. Malicious.

Middlesea Hospital’s new Intern, despite being unable to connect to anyone in any meaningfully human way, has fully immersed themself in their work. The patients are of their utmost priority, and their coworkers aren’t far behind. Every clash with Connectifia leads to side effects that only grow stronger with time, but does that matter when there’s patients to treat? Lives to save? Any good person would keep on pushing. Besides, every moment in Middlesea is a moment where they mean something. After all, they’re the only one who can do what they do.

Does it shock anyone, then, when even their dreams feel like waking nightmares? Every fiber of their being is inseparable from their work. They are the perfect machine. They do not get to rest. Every night they jolt to life strapped with wires into a metal cage, and they absolutely cannot let anybody know.

TLDR my Intern inverts the “robot slowly becoming more human” trope. Connectifia has permanently intwined them with the Rhythm Doctor Program, and it’ll likely only keep getting worse. When trapped in the machine, there is no video feed, as there is nothing to show.
