current fan creation landscape is kinda like if you went to a party with a homemade cake and everyone takes a slice and silently thumbs up at you with no attempt to start a conversation except for occasionally some guy sits in the corner with a tape recorder critiquing the cake as though he was a restaurant critic and another guy is handing the cake to an uber driver like "yeah i need you to find a restaurant that makes cake like this so i can have more of it" and the only person that's talked to you in 30 minutes is a very sweet little guy who was like "hey i liked your cake" and then ran away apologizing for bothering you the moment you said thank you.

So I have thrown myself into a huge project, which is to make a plaid for my mother

This is the finished plaid from the creator and all the squares, half squares and quarter squares I have to do.

I've done all that so far, which corresponds to the four corners, all the big borders, half of the small borders and one baby square.

I'm doing it using yarn my mother wanted, which is a mix of cotton and merinos wool. There's 10 colours total but I'm not using the same as what is shown in the pattern.

Thinking about locking my fics on AO3.

I can't do it at the moment but I'll do it and tell y'all when it's done.

I'll also all download them as pdf and epub so if you want them you'll be able to ask me (if really you don't want to make an AO3 account.

I frankly don't remember because I got them a while ago, however you can go check this megathread, there are a lot of websites from where you can get TV series etc. (Just be sure to have the settings proposed at the top of the page to avoid problems)

What if I reblog my fics promos with the fic? Because it’s on AO3 so like that you can read it directly on tumblr, but also it’s saved on AO3 in case you want to upload them.

No idea how to fix that without throwing through the window hours of work.....

Got my mic!!!!

I'll receive the arm this afternoon and I'll record stuff on Monday I guess (since I have other stuff to finish first)

So I will have my mic tomorrow hehehe

The only problem is that I won't have a feedback plug to hear myself talk so I just hope it won't be a problem, but since I don't voice act but just read stuff, I guess it'll be alright.

I think I'll try with a Sherlock Holmes story or maybe a French child book I have, filled with word plays.
