Hug Headcanons

Exactly what the title says: headcanons for what hugs from the Mystic Messenger crew would feel like. Because fluff.

Jumin's hugs are, perhaps, a little stiff at first. He isn't accustomed to showing physical affection, and he's afraid he'll overwhelm you if he squeezes too tight or lingers too long. But there's something about being folded in his arms that makes you feel safe and gives you a sense of strength. His hugs are supportive, strong, and comforting once he lets himself relax a little...not to mention he smells divine- a luxurious blend of mahogany and vetiver, perhaps with a note of bergamot if you inhale deeply enough. If you hold onto him a little tighter when you feel him pull away, he'll positively melt into your embrace. Don't expect to go anywhere until he's had his fill of your reassuring touch.

Zen will use any excuse in the book to hug you, and he'll do it as often as he can, as tightly as he can. He'll link his arms around you from behind while you're making a morning smoothie, or squeeze you tight as soon as you're home from work, lifting you off the ground with his brute strength. You'll never doubt how Zen feels about you when you're held in his embrace. His hugs are fierce, passionate, and bold, just like the actor himself.

Saeyoung’s hugs are similar to Zen's, but you feel a sense of longing when you're pulled against him. Maybe because he's been touch starved for so long...there's something about the way Saeyoung hugs you that makes you feel all of his unspoken desires, his insecurities, his craving for affection. It's incredibly intense sometimes, and you often let him just hold onto you until you feel his heart beating a little more steady. He needs you to hold him, to hug him back with just as much fierce adoration so that he knows he's loved. Please hug him often.

Yoosung's hugs are tentative, as if he's afraid he'll hurt you if he squeezes you too hard. When he holds you, it's reminiscent of that first, high-school romance feeling that leaves butterflies in your stomach and a longing for just a little more physical affection. Even just an innocent hug has Yoosung flustered and blushing, so if you really want one, you'll probably have to hug him first. He won't quite know what to do with his hands at first, but eventually they'll settle somewhere in the middle of your back, patting gently. Show this inexperienced boy what a real hug is.

Jaehee's hugs feel like coming home after a long day at work. She is warm and fragrant and comforting, much like the coffee she loves so dearly. She'll hold you with purpose, squeezing just enough to make you feel as if you're the most important person in her world (you are, of course). Hug her just as tightly to let her know the feeling is mutual.

Jihyun's hugs make you feel as if you're floating somewhere among the clouds. They're somehow soft enough to make your heart flutter, but firm and sure enough to convey just how deeply his feelings run for you. He loves to press his nose against your hair and inhale the scent of your shampoo, strong hands holding you firm against his chest while he closes his eyes, lost in how your bodies always seem to fit perfectly together as if you were made for each other. Hug him well, hug him often. He needs it more than he will readily admit.

Saeran (AE) would permanently secure you in his arms and carry you around everywhere with him, were it possible. He loves hugging you as much as he loves being hugged by you. This is a Saeran who is absolutely sure of what he wants, and that's you. In his arms. Every chance he can have you. Let him. He deserves that much, at least. Show him love, give him hugs. Lots and lots of them.

Ray's hugs are uncertain, timid, and rare. Really, any embrace you might find yourself in with Ray will be initiated by you; you'll feel his poor heart hammering wildly against his ribs, and his arms will remain at his sides until you gently remind him that it's okay to touch you, that you want him to hug you, too. It might take him a few seconds, but you'll feel him place trembling hands against your shoulder blades. Hug him a little tighter to hear him sigh and relax against you. Just a little at first, but he'll soon rest his head against your shoulder and take a deep breath. Good luck getting him to let go once he's melted into you.

My Favourite Free Amigurumi Pattern Creators for Beginners - Part 1

When I've only started crocheting amigurumis, it was a challenge. I've tried it before, 10+ years ago back at school, but it was never close to success. So summer 2022 I've decided that I'll try again and was glad that there are so many talented people creating patterns! Starting fresh I've been choosing free patterns at first, to build confidence and get familiar with all the abbreviations and techniques, as I wasn't still sure if it would be a good investment. Heck I would be even more frustrated if I couldn't figure out the pattern that was paid for tbh ...
