This is the third possible ending you can get in Sam & Max: The City That Dares Not Sleep. You can get it by bypassing the crimefighting/adventuring question and by saving Sam Jr. directly after you capture Sal.

A collection of sketches featuring Sam and Max.

The main drawing in the top left corner shows Sam hugging Max to his chest with a blissful expression. Max quips, "Uh, Sam, not that I mind, but when you get the chance would you mind unblocking my windpipe?" to which Sam replies, "Whoops! Sorry little buddy!"
